"... right. I'll just hope that you are right." Iteral decided to
stay silent, going back to thought. She went from despising and
looking down on us to sort of showing off to them? Hm, maybe...
The last part of her thoughts is indescribable, even for telepaths,
as if many voices spoke at once. Nevertheless, she pulls out a bag
and smiles. "One sec." The witch slows down time again but when she
resumed at a normal pace, all she did is wear the same outfit as
before but in pale white. "Alright, proceed."

Shoot them before they shoot you.
Iteral turns red a little, scratching the back of her head. "Y-You
see, I was thinking that, maybe so people don't get the wrong idea
about us... that it would be somewhat of a good idea to have
matching colors, you know? Before they think you hold us hostage or
vice versa..."

"We are looking for more people to help, I believe. And on the way
we will destroy Legion controls on cities. That is what you said."
Yue examined the city, taking note of all the newer customs. "Is an
outfit swap needed? Or is it alright if I carry on with my current
clothing?"

"Well, I just did it out of my own volition you know... you can
stay with yours. I just..." She looks away a little embarassed,
then up at Sela. "... did I overdo it?"

"My outfit was a bit much, don't you think? Maybe I should go with
flamboyant, today. Or maybe something that exudes confidence. or
maybe something that really compliments my ✨fairly good✨ looks."
"Best make it something that doesn't draw to much attention. We
don't need Legion after us as we explore this city. They already
know how you two look. But do as you wish, it's miraculous on how
you can switch clothing so fast!" Yue looked up at Kendo before
looking around again.

“WHAT?! I’m actively walking towards the destination! I know we’re
almost there, but I can afford to stop for a while to rest.”
She laid out out some blankets to sleep on from her bag and a
makeshift tarp roof supported by sticks. Exhausted from days of
travel in foot, it was easy enough for Charlotte to fall asleep.
"The writers compel me! Give me a minute, my writer is forcing me
to talk to a random person. Bye gu-"
he disappeared.
When he reappeared, he was in the air, roughly 14 feet high. He
fell flat on his face, like a cartoon. he got up, brushing his
jacket off. He approached Charlotte. He grinned.
Charlotte was startled by a… man? Who just appeared in the sky, and
fell? And he was strung and lit up with the tell-tale signs of
someone she was connected to.
“Hello there!”
She waved back awkwardly, still flabbergasted. “…Hi?”
“…the writers? Actually, no. I don’t think I want to know. What I
DO want to know is: if you can teleport, why didn’t you do it on
the ground? And also, what do you want? I’m kind of busy.”
Charlotte was giving this guy five minutes (if that) before she up
and walked off if he didn’t get to the point.
“Here, I’ve got one! What’s the only thing taller than you? Your
ego.”
Charlotte was starting to get more annoyed. Let it never be said
that she didn’t like a good joke, but strangers approaching her
randomly and knowing things about her… well, she was curious. And
Fate told her that he was very clearly important.
“And the strings and lights are none of your concern. In my
culture, it’s rude to ask about peoples abilities without a
legitimate reason.”
That was a lie. She didn’t really belong to any culture, and was
faking her way through the whole thing.
