The souls screamed out and wriggled their way out of the vessel, leaving the world with Mona's magic. She looked at him and grabbed his cheek, turning his face to her. "Calm down. We need that body intact, don't forget who that really is." She kissed him quickly and let go, healing the small cut on her face.

"Just until it's easy enough for you to remove the souls." She smiled at him and turned to Celaeno, glaring at him and holding an arm up. "I swear you'll pay for this... Ark." A bright halo surrounded them, burning their flesh.

Kendo snapped. Then again. Then one more time.

Three glowing orbs appeared around him. With a flicker of light, all three shot out beams of golden and black light, stabbing into the god.

"Perfect."

Mercy nodded, using her magic to purge all of the souls that flew out. The god was weakening greatly. "We're almost there, Kendo. It's down to just those controlling the vessel."

"Easy enough."

he flickered out of existence, reappearing next to the god. He put a hand on the god's shoulder, With a yanking motion, he pulled out a whole bunch of souls out.

"...Not that..."

"You won't win..." These souls were awfully aggressive. They pulled themselves back into the god's body. Celaeno grabbed Kendo, throwing him far away. "Pesky bug. He should really stay near the hive, lest it falls down..." He glared at Mona. "I'd suggest watching your back."

"Shut up!" She had enough of the talk this guy gave- but before she could even move, a hot, searing pain coursed through her entire body. Celaeno hit the earth with their hammer, causing the lava to rise up like geysers, burning of Mona's back, and with it, her wings. She began falling, trying to catch herself with her magic, but everything felt too hot and looked too blurry and red.

"Mona- Fxck!"

He snapped, stopping Mona's fall.

The brown-haired man sighed.

His smile was calm.

"You die today."

With a wave of his hand, chains of golden light locked Mona in the air, surrounded by a shield.

"You shouldn't've touched her, bud."

His form flickered, and suddenly he was in front of the god, a golden orb of light in his hand. He pressed it to the god's gut.

"Magic Missile."

The souls began to scream once more. Celaeno opened their eye and glared down at Kendo. "Try this then."

Again with the inky void. And then another scene. Except it was exactly what was happening outside. But in this scene, the chains hold Mona broke due to Kendo being too focused on the god, and she fell into the cracks of the earth, never to be seen again. "Is this what you want?"

Spears appeared in the sky, and with a flick of his hand, the god was sent flying into them, impaling them through the chest.

He threw a punch straight to the jaw. of course, with it being infused with mana, it hurt way more than a normal punch had any right to hurt.

His grin was wide and cruel, as he just flickered away, knocking the god off kilter with a sharp blow to the neck
