Mona punched him lightly. "I'm right here, you know!" She looked down at the mess. "My home... My family..." She was basically watching her dream melt away with the lava. And boy was she not happy.

She frowned and watched Celaeno appear before them. She was feeling awfully bitter. How dare they take away the life of something so vital to everyone? Celaeno had their rapier, swinging it right away, but was blocked by Mona's own rapier made of light. "How could you..?"

Celaeno dodged all of them, watching them fly down and hit the ground. "Worthless." They insulted, attempting to grab Mona.

Both arms eventually regenerated. "What's there to laugh about?" Mona continued to block their attacks, but her new body paired with her sudden emotions led her to be weaker than she should've been.

"Just die already!" She yelled out in frustration. Magic sparked from her fingertips.

Every swing of the sword left strings of mana floating in the air, as he continued his assault.

He stabbed the blade of the sword up to the hilt, straight into the god's chest.

"I like laughing. Anything wrong with that, Dark God?"

Celaeno growled, but laughed as well. "I see your point. But can you really be laughing at a time like this?" Shards of ice as large as buildings fell from the sky, evaporating when they hit the ground. Mona couldn't dodge and block attacks at the same time, worried about getting caught or worse. That was a far fall to the lava if anything happened to her.

Kendo laughed.

His sword flickered away, and he tugged on the nearest string of mana. The lines went taut, sharpening, slicing at Celaeno.

He glanced back at Mona.

"Focus on dodging, Mona. I can take care of myself."

She nodded quickly and sped away, circling the battlefield to make sure she wasn't snared by a spear of ice. She tried a different tactic she thought would work- when the hail ceased, she flew back around to Kendo, pushing her hand against his back and filling him with her own magical energy. She had too much in reserve, and he always knew how to fuse their magic to use it. "Don't let them take away our happy ending..."

Kendo's laughter was loud.

"Divine Magic... I can never quite get used to it. Let's see..."

He muttered quietly.

"Was it like this?"

He flicked his hand, and an orb of light appeared.

"I quite like these types of magic, Dark God. See, because I can do this."

Darkness started to seep into the light, as the rb got larger.

"And... Magic Missile."

A huge beam of energy shot out from the orb.

Celaeno couldn't move in time before it hit right in their left side. Souls flew loose from the holes, but before they could be absorbed, Mona stopped that.

"Purge." She let the souls pass on and be reincarnated instead of coming back to the god.

Another beam shot out, hitting the god in the side once more.

"Starfall."

The orb flew up into the air, taking the shape of a 5-pointed star. The star crashed down upon the god.

More souls were able to escape and were purged immediately by Mona. She went closer to find other stray souls- but came close with Celaeno's rapier, grazing her cheek. She backed away next to Kendo, noticing the small trickle of blood, scoffing and wiping it away quickly. The last thing she would want is Kendo to go overboard because she was hurt- after all, he had enough magic to level the nation if he so wanted. She knew that.
