Aret took the lollipop and tugged on his pants. She had no clue what the lollipop even was, but did as told, humming at the sweet flavor. She was quiet for now, forgetting all about Legion and what was about to happen to Kendo. "She- She's so insistent! Not once did she make any sign of being an ally..." She pouted and stared at Kendo.

Yue stepped off Lean's broom. "I guess we like to keep our old traditions alive, rather than start a new one." Dark blue banners danced in the wind above them, windchimes sounding again. He pointed to a pair of open doors. "There's the motel. I'll do the talking and get us a room, you all just get yourself comfortable."

Her pout grew. "Y-Yes..." She didn't flinch when he poked her, only moved her hands up to tug his shirt. "But- she kept chasing me! She only said she wasn't bad after I ran!"

She made an expression like that of a kicked puppy, shrinking back. The light of her halo dimmed enough to see her face, though she shielded herself from Iteral. She looked down at his feet, dejected.

"Its already bad enough that Kendo prefers torture over me but that's because of his weird selflessness. Don't let his effort be in vain... let me get you back safely." She was concerned about both of them but knows Kendo well enough from their antics.

She looked at Iteral apprehensively for a moment, then made the same sad face at Kendo. "I'm sorry... You must hate me now..." She grabbed his hand and held it lightly, covering half of her body with her wings.

Iteral looks a little... surprised. The self-doubt, it was just like her own. And when she had that, she wanted nothing more than approval from her idol... so she just stood back and let Kendo do the talking. She gave a nod and, unsure if his telepathy was still on, she gave the signal of "Do what you must. I won't intervene".

He stepped into the reception, greeting someone inside. An old lady sat at the counter, looking a bit bored but she perked up they came inside. Yue started a conversation with her in Chinese. After a few minutes the lady looked to Sela, then to Iteral, then to the others, before nodding and handing him a wooden key. He bowed to her before turning to the others. "I got it, let's go rest."

She smiled, rising to her feet (stopping for a moment since she was lightheaded) and embracing him tightly. Her wings wrapped around him warmly, fluttering just barely. "That makes me happy... I love you…"
