Lucinda hurried over and lined up. The instructor was Will Solice, an Apollo camper. He taught everyone how to hold, knock an arrow and shoot using a bow, which, of course, Lucinda already knew, she got 5 shots and got 4 bullseyes. Not bad.. she thought

Kaori looked around her. This was the United States back in 2022?! Everything was so old-fashioned! Gas cars, skyscrapers, and all the old technology! And an iPhone 14? They had the iPhone 300! What a different world!

She got a bullseye for every single shot. After all, Athena trained an excessive amount, using all her free time for this kind of thing. So she was proficient in all aspects of battle. Of course, she was no daughter of Artemis or Apollo, and two of the shots were really was just plain luck. Also, more practice never hurt anyone.

WEEKENDS (chariot race on Saturday and Sunday is capture the flag [preparance])

Lucinda was fixing the chariot, just a few more gears and then it’s perfection!

The rest of the Athena campers were looking on distrustfully as Athena added a few gears and rewired a few motors. Athena had devised a kind of last minute plan to improve their chariot. "Done!" Athena stood up, and the other campers quickly looked away.

Kaori rubbed her bracelet. Hopefully, the chariot would work, even if she refused using a hammer, as that would count as violence to the chariot. She rubbed some grease on the 'engine'. When she used her fire powers, the engine would catch on fire, fueling the chariot. Hopefully.

But her chariot also had catapults containing feathers, so that they wouldn't hurt anybody and would only be a distraction. But she also came prepared. Inside the chariot, there were 12 spears, each for a different purpose. They would come out with blunt spearheads, shoot flaming bubbles (nothing dangerous), released hooks that burned through a chariot's wheels, and more. Hopefully, that wouldn't hurt anybody or such. (Hopefully, the 10th spear would end up with a sharp point for the AyranDemiKebabCowboy of yumminess)

Lucinda had installed several charged minipults (mini catapults) and archery battlements with mini daggers around to the base of the chariot, which will fire the opponents wheels if they get too close. “Who’s going to ride the chariot?” Lucinda asked while adding minipult rocks.
