This has been happening for a while now, and I’ve just been putting up with it, usually giving up on Hoopa, but I’ve wasted a lot of time and money on stuff this time, and someone has told me now that Hoopa rings aren’t supposed to show up on pages you don’t have access to and this is a bug.

Is it showing up on a special event page? The Premium settings? Something that unlocks above level 20?
These are the only restrictions mentioned in the original Hoopa Quest news thread.

It's a simplified Easter Hunt, in that scrolling is not required, but that's the only difference. In the Easter Egg Hunt threads, it's mentioned you might need to buy/unlock locations to find the eggs. As the Hoopa Hunt is 'the same as the Easter Hunt', you might need to buy/unlock locations to find the Rings.

Did they get that information from an official source? Did Riako mention this somewhere?

This time, it’s on the Bulletin Board. And I don’t know where the person who told me it’s a bug got their information from, they didn’t mention that.

Which is unlocked at level 8 and not a special event, so it falls within the requirements.

Not a bug that it shows up there.

Can you tell me how much else I’d have to do to unlock the Bulletin Board? Is there anything else I’d have to do after buying the Cooking Pot? That’s the part I’m at now. I hate everything about the berry garden, by the way.

I'm sorry, I don't. The tutorial unlocks everything in a logical order, so I think you'll have to use the Cooking Pot (cook a recipe) and it'll unlock the Bulletin Board for an order linked to it.

I'm not certain, though.

You were right, CatLady. I just had to spend 5k on the Cooking Pot and cook one recipe to unlock the Bulletin Board and get the last Hoopa ring.
