Hermes tilted his head, confused.

"But... isn't this what you and Ares used to do? Didn't you start the Trojan War because of a petty argument? How is what I am doing any worse than your actions in the past?"

His eyes flared defiantly, angrily.

"You have no idea how much I've resented the pantheon for treating me as some sort of lowly messenger. It's time to teach them a lesson."

Athena faltered for a second. Yes, Hermes was wrong to be abusing his newfound power, but didn't most of the gods cause some fight that killed many humans? Her included, that is.

Hecate felt the strong trickery magic Hermes was doing to the guards. She looked around the throne room, but Zeus was not there, Hecate flew out of the room and went to where Hermes was and gasped, the guards lay twitching on the floor in pain, Hecate was very angry:"Hermes! You don't inflict pain on others for the sake of it!" her anger broke loose, causing soome of the pain dealt to the guards to be deflected out, evaporating into thin air. Hecate shivered, her magic was drained, she felt feeble and- Hecate colapsed to the floor and fainted.

Hecate took out her bottomless pouch and stuffed most of her magic belongings in and dissolved, appearing besides Athena “ I’m ready.” Hecate said
