Well, you know there are some feeds you want everyone on your userpage to see, but you also want to make other ones without pushing it down? This is basically what I'm saying. You could have a image(Maybe an ullte ball or a flag) on every feed(Maybe in the top right), that says 'Pin to top' when you scroll over it. When used, the feed is sent to the top and stuck there until you unpin it. You can only pin one feed, and if you decide to pin another, the first o you pinned will become un-pinned and be sent down next feed.
Also, sorry for a short post or if this was already suggested, I couldn't find it and I basically explained it the best I could.

I support. This would be really handy especially for a feed if you were advertising something or if you had a 'Looking for...' feed.

That would be cool, however if many users had pinned feeds it would get crowded.

Maybe there could be a limit to how many you could pin or there could be a spoiler of Pinned feeds on a trainers user page.

Full support! This would be extremely useful for people who are LF certain items/pokemon/etc. and don't want to tell the feed over and over again when it gets shoved off their page, and yknow, that kinda stuff o3o

Whoa, a lot of supports while I was offline.
I was thinking of a limit as well, but then it wouldn't really matter if someone pinned every feed. It would just be pointlessly abusing a feature.

technically this could be done in a diary, but honestly i don't think those get as much exposure as the very top of a feed does, which is what i think this is mostly for - user pages get a lot of traffic, so a pinned feed is likely to get a lot of attention, especially from people who may not frequent the forum as often as others

I support for reasons already stated as well. If this is done like a facebook page, you can only have one pinned post at a time, and when you pin a new post, the old one loses its pin.

So I support. This would allow users to pick one important feed.

If you can read this, you know how to read.

I "agree" with Harkness (or at least with Facebook), that pinning a feed automatically un-pins the other one. You can mostly only see 1-2 feeds on the Userpage (without scrolling) anyways, so that should be enough to put some more focus on an important feed.

Omg Riako agreed with me!!! (again, that stalker troll)

Right after I gave my support, I made a feed that I would have loved to pin. It was a minor announcement to the people who battle my gym, so having it at the top of my feeds would have been more helpful.

And, I did a little thing for you to show how it could look :3

Hardness while that pin in the octagon looks nice, mobile users wouldn't be able to pin theirs because you have to hover and I can only use mobile and have a feed I would very much like to pin so I think it should be somewhere where you don't need to hover

I was thinking along the lines of what Shiny Lanturn was thinking, instead of top right it could be in bottom left and would be shapped as a Great Ball or Ultra Ball. Like Mojo said, for mobile users it shouldn't disappear it should just be there to click on and off.
