A weird laughter came from just outside that bubble of holy magic. "Let me offer a hand to a business partner." A red tendril came through the bubble and attached itself to Rhuna's torso, yanking her out of it and letting her land with a bit of distance away from the fight. A floating decanter was providing fresh air and slight medications, as the tendrils form back into an arm. "Are you alright?" The tendril reformed back into a familiar hand, as it reaches out to help the Lubrean up.

Mercy growled. Another nuisance, great. She really didn't need to deal with this. Before she could turn, her dress was caught and torn off of her body, revealing a shiny latex bodysuit underneath. She thanked herself for coming prepared. "Out of my way, all of you!" She yelled, and after she did, a large cloud of pollen like a smokescreen covered the room.

Rhuna was happy enough to see Renata, let alone being freed. She let Renata help her up, which was rare, and slowly stood up. "Thank you, Renata." She spoke as she turned to Mercy and Auspice. "Two gods. Battling it out until one of them dies. They are equals, so them fighting each other out will be quite the ride. If we try to get into the fight, we could just end up dying. Auspice isn't just any ordinary girl to ascended to godhood." She hissed, taking a step back. "She is so much more than that, and I hope she could take Mercy off the table. Its a 50/50."

Auspice coughed heavily due to the sudden smokescreen, but immediately searched for Mercy in the cloud of pollen.

"Aww, too scared? I knew you were pathetic and weak, just like everyone else."

Mercy ran past Rhuna, sliding into the corridor and running to where she could sense Yekaterina. She was already so close, she could practically smell her. "Come on... Where are you hiding?"

"Listen." Renata spoke with her signature stern voice, knowing where Rhuna was... and Rhuna could see her glowing arm in return. "This fight is not with you or me. Mercy and Auspice will fight each other and will not only take out each other but also us if we intervene. I strongly advise you to go to Yekaterina and spend time preparing with her, in case Auspice gets defeated. I already evacuated everyone from my workshops." She looks around, the decanter glowing as well and emitting smoke of it's own to protect them. It displayed an exclamation mark. "She's going to Yeka. We don't have much time, let's go." The decanter gives Auspice and Rhuna a dose of Blighttech, boosting their capabilities.

When the smoke went away, Auspice nor Rhuna saw Mercy anywhere. Rhuna started to breath heavily, quickly running off to where she saw Belladonna take Yeka.

Auspice was now left with Renata, keeping distance from her as she watched Rhuna run off after Mercy. Her hood was down, so her long, brown and royally done hair was visible, and her purple eyes could clearly be seen, unlike before. She kept her scythe at her side, thinking to herself.

"Hmmm..."

Auspice turned to Renata, knowing she was the one that impowered her, though she didn't say anything.

Renata looks at Auspice right back, as she takes off her jacket and throws it over her own shoulder. "Let me guess. You either want to kill me or ask me something. Well, do it quick, I suppose. I have a busy schedule." She has her breather on, so Auspice could not see what face she did right now.

Mercy could hear something within the walls of the palace. "Found you-!" She thrusted her rapier into the wall, but felt nothing, so continued up as she heard the running-

That is, until she managed to hit something, evident by the blood on her blade. She tried to be quick, so she could still outrun Rhuna and Auspice. "You'll pay for what you've done to this world."

"I'm not sure what locks... these are. Maybe try brute forcing them open?" Matsunaga suggested, shrugging and looking back at the cell door.

Auspice looked away from Renata, unamused. "Who are you? Are you another weak mortal that could have their life easily taken? Or do you serve a higher purpose?" She sounded cold and harsh as she turned back to Renata, gripping her scythe tighter. Though, to her, Auspice somehow knew that this woman should be known to her, which is why she asked.

Rhuna continued to run towards Mercy. Once she had found her, she immediately tossed her glaive, aiming at Mercy's shoulder. She could not let this goddess take her lover's life. "You will stop, unless you are begging to die." Normally, Rhuna would be more violent than this, but she was softened up, thanks to Yeka.

"Sure, I suppose. Why not?" Iteral takes out a clock of hers again and slashes at the lock with both the clock and shadow magic, attempting to break it one or the other way.

Renata sighs. "I am just a simple businesswoman, looking to expand her horizons. With incentives and all." She snaps her fingers, the decanter floating up next to her and giving Auspice a bit of a pleasant aroma. "What is it to you?"

"Let us go, this doesn't involve you!" Mercy yelled, narrowly dodging the glaive, though it did slice her arm lightly. "If your family was murdered, your own flesh and blood, how would you feel?! Don't you have any empathy for your parents? Your siblings?

A flash of red flickered in Rhuna's eyes, letting out a wicked hiss, though, her anger quickly converted to sadness. Tears welled up in her eyes, and she collapsed to the floor, on her knees. Mentioning her dead family really weakened her.

"You don't know pain, do you? I have lost more than you could EVER know! I hardly ever GAINED anything in life! Yeka was the only person to bring me happiness again, and you are going to kill her! That hurts even more. Don't you DARE mention my dead family or children EVER again...!" She started to sob, dropping her glaive and putting her arms over her face, embarrassed. She hoped that Mona at least had some empathy for her. After all, hardly anyone in her family line was alive, that only being Vhaut and Rhulk. "L-Let that sink in!"

Auspice chuckled lightly. “Mmm… mostly because I have hardly ever talked to people that didn’t want to end me or arrest me right on the spot.” She looked at her own scythe-free gloved hand that was freezing cold. Not much later, she put that hand back to her side. “Auspice.” The Fatekeeper exchanged her name back, gazing into Renata’s eyes, as if she was looking for a hidden truth.

"Miss Glasc." Renata replied, the cold hand of Auspice did not really shock her, given her current aesthetic made her look like she was stitched together and everything with her cool blues. "I have no reason to kill you or anything. You are a reliable associate of my... former partners Rhuna and Yekaterina, aren't you?"

Mercy shook her head and walked away. "If you know what's good for you, you'll let me kill her. You think she's the love of your life, but she'll only hurt you like she hurt my own family. My children almost died because of her." Once she was far enough away, she bolted to the next room over and continued her hunt for Yekaterina.

Rhuna sighed, letting off a low growl, watching Mercy walk away. Obviously, this goddess didn't REALLY know how it felt. "Fine. Be that way. You'll only hurt your family more..." She spoke before she continued to sob, thinking about her past life.

Auspice turned back to face the hallway. "For a little while. In the end, I don't care about them. I just wanted to get my payment for this. The head of all other followers, Rhuna, promised me freedom if I helped them out during troubling times. Ugh, I really do hate those other gods. Now, I'm free, there is no need for me to lurk around here anymore. I'm only still here because I get to fight Mercy. In the end, they are all meaningless trinkets, to be subjugated."

She spoke before starting to slowly walk off, then vanishing in the Darkness, as if it had welcomed her and let her walk its shadow-y plane. She was going to find Mercy again. She wouldn't stop fighting her until either her or Mercy was dead.

She could not bear it any longer. Rhuna might be a mistress of shadows but... one of the shadows around her formed up and just gave her a pat on the back. It was trying to comfort her and... the aura of the shadow was familiar. It was the same one that eavesdropped on Caspian so long ago.

Renata raises her arm. "Wait." She reaches into her pocket and pulls out a little shining blue vial. "I know you don't know me and it is an old rule to not accept gifts from a stranger..." She throws the vial in a casual arc, expecting Auspice to catch it. "But it would be rude to not help you enjoy your freedom for more. If you ever need help... you know where to find me." The vial had her company logo on it.

Rhuna knew the shadow that pat her, due to the shadow's aura. She wasn't even mad, just upset. She continued to let her tears fall to the floor as both of her hands kept her stable on the flooring. Her claws clawed the floor as her sadness grew. "Why do all these terrible things happen to me? What have I done to deserve this? All I wanted was a family... children that deserve a better life... there are so many children that plead for salvation... I will be the giver." She whimpered, having her eyes shut, her teeth gritted.

Auspice, did in fact catch the vial, well, one of her Taken Captains that came out of the shadows caught it, jumping back into the Darkness. "Thank you... errr... Renata. I will be seeing you again." She spoke telepathically before the voice completely vanished, not being heard again.

The shadow that pet Rhuna looks around, tapping her shoulder and then sighs, as it started talking. "... fate is a malicious one, no matter what you do to achieve your goal, it will keep making you stumble, fall. And whenever you challenge it, people look at you weird. Question you. Hate you for it." The voice itself sounded a little distant but it sounds genuine and full of concern. "... let it all out." It told the Lubrean. "Lash out as much as you need to."
