A short pause, the shadow didn't seem to be able to respond at first. Then, it talked. "... how will that solve anything though? Killing her means you will ruin the stars and planets, bringing devastation to many more than you think of saving. Are you sure that is what you want? Ruin her family and many others... for your own?"

The shadow was right, it did have a point...

"Y-Your right... but... either way, she couldn't be bringing up such... sensitive topics. It hurts, you know..."

She grumbled, her sobbing toning down and she sat down properly. "E-Enough about that... what is your name? If you have one."

"Oof, that... that sounded a little too formal for me." The shadow moves a bit like water, splitting in two and revealing... Mercy? No, Mercy did not wear a shade of black, neither did she control shadows. "... hey again." She had a hunched posture and looks a little awkward at Rhuna.

Mercy smiled at the sight in front of her. She didn't hurt Yekaterina in the slightest- it was Belladonna that took the hits. Now, in the center of the grand palace garden, Mercy had Yekaterina backed with her weapon. Yekaterina, with her face still covered, leaned against the fountain to be away from the blade. "You... You'll never achieve anything by killing me..."

"I'll return the power you stole from my siblings and restore the world. That achieves enough for me and my family, as well as the nation I've decided to reside in." She glared at the lamb, taking a step closer and raising her sword, bringing it down upon her neck.

But she didn't expect it to bounce off and her own neck be slashed, staggering back and covering it.

Rhuna is a bit shocked at first, and keeps her emotions bottled as she looked at.. her. Iteral. The one that helped, or at least tried, to bring Caspian back. But there is always forgiveness. "A-Ah... you... hey... I apologize for the... errr... last encounter we had a while back..." She chuckled nervously, making a bit of a pained face.

Auspice now came back out from thin air, an aura of Darkness that acted like flames covered her body as she stepped out, slowly dying away. Now that Mercy was quite weakened, Auspice took the chance to attempt to puncture Mercy in the torso.

Mercy turned quickly and blocked the attack, sweeping Auspice's knees out under her. "I swear, I will kill you!" She promised her, covering her wound and going for Auspice's throat.

"Y-Yeah, well, look, it's not like we are both... you know, in control of our emotions... or our loved ones, you know..." Iteral herself was a little weirded out, scratching the back of her head. "L-Look, I'm sure you're a great person... literally twice my height... and I'm sorry for our last encounter too..." She apologized despite not really doing anything, since Hana did the fighting for her. She shook her head, sighing. "... peace?"

Auspice quickly blocked the attack with the pole part of her weapon with some effort, since she was knocked down. "You can wish." She pushed Mona's blade back and used one end of her blade to make an uppercut motion, hoping to not miss this time.

Rhuna let out a light giggle, nodding. "Of course." As she spoke, she just had a thought. What if there was no need for violence..? What if the Guardians and the Sinners have a truce? In the end, war only makes things worse and takes more lives. She shook her head, shaking away the thoughts. "A-Anyway, tell me about you, I think I should get to know you better."

Iteral felt something weird in the left side of her body. Mona. She looks down at her hand and sighs. "I-eh... look, both our loved ones are currently fighting to each other's death. Let's go there. We can do introductions on our way there. Okay?" She extends her right hand to Rhuna for a handshake.

Mercy backed up, but her arm had a long slice going up to her wrist. "You do realize that if you kill me, everything else will die as well?! All life, all matter, it'll cease to exist!" Yekaterina tried to sneak away, but was caught in the star field Mercy created, and her powers were already running low.

Auspice kept her ground, gripping her scythe. "Well, as long as you die, I think I would fade out a happy death." She laughed, now attempting to jab Mercy's side.

Rhuna nodded, taking Iteral's hand for a second before pulling her hand away. "We cannot waste time. Lets go." She spoke before sprinting off, expecting Iteral to follow her.

Iteral nods, checking her clocks and hitting one, as time slows down around them enough that they have some more of it. "I am Mercy's... biological daughter, though probably the least liked member of the whole family. Got time, light and shadow powers, ehhhh... and a bit of a sleeping problem. But I do try to see the bigger picture. Y-Your turn!" Iteral slows down time even more, feeling Mercy's aura weakening.

Mercy couldn't dodge in time, and gained another injury in her side. She swung at Auspice's legs, backed by the force of her stars to help. "Just give up already! You'll die at the end no matter what!"

Rūkasu felt something bad happening. He stopped, standing still behind the other members of the group. He started walking in another direction to where he was feeling the disturbance. He didn’t know what was wrong, jusg that something bad was happening.

"ARGH!" Auspice growled as she was just barely knocked down, causing her to drop her scythe about a few feet away from her. "You know you can't end me just on the spot. We still have so much to do, nephew."

Rhuna nodded before speaking. "W-Well you see, I am... well, as you know, I'm much unlike you, a Lubraean. After my lord, Yeka, and I figured out a way to get back to Lubrae, I realized the Regime was back, and now with them destroyed, there are no others. It is just back to Rhulk, Vhaut and I. There is still so much depressing detail to tell, but I'll say another day."

Iteral nods, sighing. "Don't worry. I don't expect you to give me your life story right now, given our... confrontational past. If you want we can go out some time and talk about each other's past. Or future. You know, time witch, same for me." They walked in a very slowed down time. "Right now, I'm thinking about what we can do. We can't fight for our partners, that would just end in more bloodshed. You think you can hold your partner back?"

Mercy quickly kicked the scythe up in the air and caught it, breaking the blade swiftly and tossing it to the side. "You've had no reason for existing before, and even now. I'll end your life, pathetic whelp."

Auspice laughed at Mercy's statement. "Man, you are a god of cold words, aren't you? Let me falsify your statement." She then reformed her scythe into her hands and quickly pointed it at Mercy. One would assume she was going to sing it or attack, but no. She created a big, somewhat of a forcefield to push away Mercy harshly. She took this chance to get back one her feet as the field dissipated.

Rhuna nodded, forming her glaive in her hand, just for self defense. "Yup! Could you try to get Mercy away?"
