"No, I have others that can." Iteral growled, flying behind Mercy and launching shadow fire at Gaia. "You can try all you want, I will not yield." She narrows her eyes again, it was no use. No matter what Mercy said, Iteral would stick.

Multiple bolts of lightning struck Gaia as Cloudy waved his sword, electricity leaping from his horns like some kind of Tesla Coil. Yumine spread his wings, barking at him. "Cloudy, you better stay on the ground and make sure no one gets hit!" "What?? That's no fun-" Yumine launched himself into the fight before he could say anything else. Cloudy grumbled, raising his hand as a force field appeared over everyone (on the ground).

Gaia grunted in slight pain. Her attacks seemed to get more vicious as time went on, but something seemed different. She had a look of pity in her eyes. "Get out...!"

Iteral looks at Mercy, then copies her exact moves, in the hope she could launch stars or something as well. But instead, she just unleashed a large cloud of gas... that exploded as soon as a star drew near.

Mercy flew away, not wanting to touch the gas. She would definitely scold Iteral for that later. Gaia was uneven on her feet, taking a step back and crushing a fountain under foot. She swiped at the two, catching Mercy and slamming her against the ground.

Iteral was caught in the slap too, both of them slamming down. The time witch recovered but a shadow hand changed her appearance... she was now nearing fifty years of age. She groans, using her right hand for a spell and it failing: A simple blast of light magic flew in her general direction.

Gaia was only getting stronger. "If you're going to kill me, do it already!"

"I'm not trying to kill you!" Mercy yelled back, getting up again and flying around Gaia, trying to find her weak point. "I can help!"

"Not this time... My body is moving on its own- my most powerful magic couldn't break me out!" Mercy stalled for a moment, though it was just enough for Gaia to catch Mercy in one of the Venus flytraps.

"So?!" Iteral jumps on the flytrap and her wand turns into a shadow crowbar, as she yanks the flytrap up and nods at Mercy to try getting out. "Goddamnit Gaia, in case you have not figured out, we are family! We will find a way to get you out of this!" She yells, though gets visibly exhausted in holding the flytrap open.

Mercy clambers out of it just as acid is spat from its triggers. She sighed a breath of relief, although it was short-lived. Gaia had punctured a hole right through Mercy's leg with a thorned vine, causing her to stop and try to tear it out, using her summoned rapier to slice it in half.

Iteral jumps between the two goddesses and raises her wand with her left hand and unleashes a large burst of shadow fire again, similar to the gas she did prior. Unbeknownst to her, as her right hand was behind her so that she does not fall over, light magic seeps through the air into Mercy, attempting to fuel her... even if unintended.

Mercy was fairly beat down. It didn't seem like the magic was doing anything to help. Gaia was still standing tall, even through the damage that's been dealt. "You can't stop this unless you kill me." She stated. Mercy shook her head, breathing heavily due to her wounds.

"I-I can't..." She kept herself on the defense, blocking and dodging the attacks being sent her way. A large flower grew under her, lifting her up.

"Then you'll be the one dead."

With her own health and well-being being the least of her concerns, she lands on the flower next to Mercy and holds the wand ready to assist the defensive stance of the Olde Witch. "No! Beneficium!" She said, light and dark magic blessing both witches and the rude interlude with luck.

Gaia didn't wait for any responses, slamming her fist against the flower and smashing them down. Mercy barely held it up, and looked down at Iteral. "Stop helping me! If you want to be useful, try pinning her down instead of supporting me!" She would have no other choice.
