Caspian rushed downstairs from the art room, keeping his drawing weighted down with a paperweight and hugging on to Mercy’s legs. He may be twelve now, but he still got scared easily. He stayed by Mercy, not wanting to leave her as another earthquake may come.

After Caleb had gotten his headphones and the earthquakes were happening, he turned into his transparent ghost form and started floating above the ground so the shifting of the ground didn’t affect him. He sighed as he listened to his music. The hood over his head covered his eyes from being seen by others and he caught most of the black substance in a bottle he carried around, although some of it made a track on the ground as he floated down the road.

Eclipse went to Mercy and put his wings around her and everyone who was currently in the room. He was probably the one who could take the most crushing without any damage, or at least that’s what he believed, so he would be everyone’s shield if anything fell.

Puppycat looked for a way out, but also looked for a tv. He found one in the room that the person pointed to. "prettY Patriiiiick!" That's all he cares about now. Pretty Patrick.

The last earthquake shook horribly- and sounded like a gunshot next to your ears. A bright light cracked up from the ground below, causing smoke and debris to shoot up. "What's going on?!"

"Not sure- stay inside!" Ambrose rushed back in after finishing the extra layer of protection, making sure Mercy had all of the children huddled together. "Where's Cloudy?"

"I don't know- he said he was going on a walk!" Strangely, a searing headache pierced through her head. She held it, trying to calm it down, but it was just as chaotic as what was going on outside.

A group of people known as Sinners, or Blight Guards, had overtaken the nation, turning it upside down. Cities crumbled to dust in an instant, friends had turned against each other due to some being Sinners. They planned this for a while- but how were they able to cause mass damage?

"Is everyone alright?!"

Coming from the bathroom, Uriela finds Puppycat sitting on the couch watching Pretty Patrick. "Omigoodness you like this show too? Scoot over." She plops down next to him, almost launching the small animal into the air. "Plot dunping can wait, Pretty Patrick is on."

"Pretty Patriiiiick!!" Puppycat responded, and continued to watch the show. He didn't care about the earthquakes. Pretty Patrick is all that matters now.

"Whoa!" Isabelle tried to stay balanced. "What's going on?!" She asked, trying to get a grip on reality. That was hard then the world was shaking and everything turned to chaos.

William, sitting down on a bench, chuckled. This was what he liked to see. Chaos. The world being ripped apart.

The two sit and watch the show until it finally ends. Uriela stretched and mutes the TV as it switches to some show set in Oregon. Something about the Falls there or something. "So," she starts, turning to Puppycat. "You must be wondering why, and how, you are here."

Yumine covered his ears. His supersonic hearing was about to send him into full on sensory overload. He spread his wings, covering Eclipse's head if anything fell.

Cloudy muttered a safe spell and a golden force field covered him. Okay okay he was safe now he was safe Satan christ-

Caspian was shaking a bit by Mercy. “Y-yeah. I-i-I’m fine.” he said to her. The end of his tail was changing colors to a light purplish. After developing his color changing scales, his colors sometimes changed according to his feelings. The light purple meant scared or frightened.

Caleb was outside when the earthquake had happened, and saw the light and heard the sound. He was confused and had gone back into his normal form, dropping the glass of black liquid. He looked around and started looking for a place to get somewhere safe from the sinners/blight guards.

Eclipse said, “I’m alright. I’m worried for everyone else though… What happened?” He was confused about what was going on now, and the noise hurt his ears a bit.

"Because you kidnapped me." Puppycat responded, putting his hands on his hips and looking at Uriela. He was clearly misunderstanding the situation, and thought Uriela meant why he was at her house.

William chuckled more, standing up and glancing around.

Kendo was completely unphased. he Just ignored the illusion and continued on whatever he was doing with his holographic screen. "I've seen better illusions." He put on a pair of glasses that allowed him to completely ignore the illusion.

"Oh get over here," Uriel says, grabbing Puppycat and bringing him to the garage. Once inside, she sets Puppycat down and pulls out a few holographic projectors, activating them to reveal a plethora of notes. "It seems every time there is an earthquake, a rift opens in space time, allowing those from other dimensions to slip through. From my research, nothing is able to enter back through these, and they close up as fast as they open, but if we had a way to hold them..." She gestures to another blueprint. "We could have our own interdimensional portals, and we could send everyone home." She of course, had no intention of leaving, but these new people were getting out of hand.
