DD smiled weakly, looking at Lottie. "Thank you, love." She said sincerely.

Jet was meditating in her room, going over what had happened with both herself and with DD. The two situations were quite worrisome...

Lottie smiled back and hugged DD.

Jackie thought about something. Something that happened between her and Jet....she wanted to tell her everything about her escape from homeworld... Jackie went out of her room and knocked on Jet's door, worried and sweating a bit.

Jet awoke from her meditation when there was a knock at her door. Slightly confused, she got up and opened the door to see it was Jackie. "My-... Jackie. Is something wrong?" She asked, nearly calling her Diamond by her title when she preferred the name Jackie.

Jet's eyes widened. Did Jackie mean... THE truth??? Jet said nothing, but stepped aside to allow Jackie entry into her room.

Jackie sat next to Jet on her bed with a frown. "Before the shattering of Pink Diamond, me and her used to be close. We would always spend time together when we had the chance. Well, then she took control it two colonies. The Moon, and the one she loved the most, Earth. She sent her colony members, which she thought were making life, but only to realize they were destroying it to create more gems and rid of the planet. Pink Diamond hated this. She wanted to go to Earth, but if Blue and Yellow found out, they would be furious. So, she became Rose Quartz. She took multiple gems in her hand and fought with them for peace and love on Earth. Then, Blue, Yellow, AND White were heard of this. Many gems fought the crystal gems to stop fighting and protecting the Earth. I couldn't do anything but hear of Pink and her plans, and only hope for the better..but then, Pink faked her shattering, using her Pearl to form into Rose Quartz and finish the job. The Diamonds were furious. They wanted to rid of the Earth once and for all, but I couldn't let that happen. Not for Pink's bond with it! I defended the Earth and fought the Diamonds. I quickly flew. I wanted to bring you with me, that is until they took you and made you an assassin...a shatterer...I couldn't go back, and we were separated...all of this happened after I turned into an angel years ago, and never reunited with anyone until that cave situation.." Jackie said. "I..I understand if you hate me for this, but, this is the truth..." Jackie said with a sigh and a frown.

Jet had her head bowed. She remembered Pink and Black being very close. She could still recall the two Diamonds spending time together while the other Diamonds were busy. She could still remember being told that Pink had been shattered, even though she and Black knew the truth. When Black chose to fight for the Earth alongside the Crystal Gems, Jet, then Black Pearl, had been taken from Black Diamond as punishment and she had been turned into an assassin...a monster...who obeyed the Homeworld Diamonds and saw the Crystal Gems as the enemy. This was how it was for centuries, until they sent on one particular mission; to locate the leader of the Crystal Gems, Rose Quartz. She spent a long time on the Earth and found the beauty of the planet. She cut her ties with the war and the Diamonds and spent her time on Earth, until the cave incident... But she couldn't bring herself to hate her Diamond... She had followed her 'heart' and chose for herself...

Jet gave a sad smile. "You couldn't have known what would happen." She said, rubbing at her stinging eyes. "You did what you believed was right. I couldn't have asked for a better Diamond."

Jackie smiled and left and went to bed.

The next day, the group woke up and did their daily routine, saying their good mornings to each other and talking in the living room together and having fun. Jackie saw Jet and smiled at her. "Good morning, Jet." She said sweetly.

Little did the duo know, someone had heard Jet's slip up and curiosity ran through the listener... With narrowed eyes, DD exited her room, planning on speaking with Jackie about what jet had said...

"Hold on guys, I'll be back." Jackie said and went to her room. She looked at the mirror that was now fixed after her incident with Hades, and she unbuttoned her shirt and looked at the Black Diamond gem in her chest and frowned. She sighed as she looked at it glisten and shine.

DD, with practiced ease and stealth, snuck up after Jackie. Peeking in from the doorway, her eyes widened at the gem on Jackie's chest. She was like Jet, a being with a gem..... Frowning, DD pretended to have just come to the door and knocked.
