It was the big day, the day where the choosen ones were picked. Sol woke up, feeling kind of lazy. They streched while yawning before continuing to the main hall where they would choose one of them to investigate the trouble and chaos happening recently. The dark skies shrowded the place, giving way to a very light snowfall. Sol didn't mind it, gathering and sitting down as their leader, Colust the 10 tailed fox sat infront of them all. (PS: Leaders are NPC's!)

The boy stared at the grey skies while he sat under the giant fir trees as he normally did, his eyes still groggy from his recent nap. He let out a yawn, waking up the fluffy creature snoozing on his lap, which also let out a long bleat to match with the boy's sigh.
The ringing bells on the mountain base rang through the barren field, calling for the villagers to attend the ceremony that had been announced earlier. One chosen faun, sent out beyond the safe border of the village to unfold mysteries the citizens have no idea about. Evander didn't care mucn about it, as long as it wasn't him who is chosen.
Then again, most knew the boy's attitude, who would choose him?
He got up, carrying Ramu in his arms as he made his way to the village cathedral building, where most gatherings took place. He sadly looked down at the dull, withered grass, long gone after the light of the sun faded behind the gloomy clouds. He heard the sad melody of the birds in the trees and felt the angry wind blowing against his face, almost pushing his small body with it as he made his way to the building.
The place wasn't filled yet, but it probably will be soon. Some of the older male fauns, the stronger ones of the herd, were almost begging that they'd be the chosen one. Talking in their groups about their thirst to travel beyond the restrictions of the territory's border. Evander paid no heed as he picked a spot it between two pillars, brought Ramu up to his head so the fluffy wool would comfort his face and shut his eyes. Soft snores followed shortly after.
He'll sleep through this, as he'd normally do with everything.

After a few minutes of waiting, the gongs sounded, silencing the crowd until most of the previous chatter had faded away. The only apparent sound in the room being Evander's snores, which got annoyed and disgusted looks from the fauns around him. Ramu, who woke up in shock of the sudden loud noise, furrowed it's eyes and glared at them back in defiance. A little angry huff to make it clear it didn't want anyone looking at the boy like that. Most of the fauns snickered at the tiny being's efforts but they eventually ignored the pair as they focused on more important matters.
The village head stepped onto the stage to scan the crowd, his horns adorned with floral decorations and strings of gold to show off his high status. The younger male fauns looked up at the man in admiration, hoping that they'd be strong enough one day to hold such high position. The leader cleared his throat before he began the announcement.
"As you all know, we are gathered here today to select one of you as the chosen one of the herd. One of you fauns will carry the peace and destiny of the isles on your shoulders," he said, before he raised his staff, the huge gemstone fixed onto the wood started glowing a bright blue color. A flash of light blinded everyone in the room before the gemstone dimmed back to it's normal color.
"The one the gem has chosen shall be the faun who holds this responsibility," he finalised. Every faun looed around to see who was chosen, grunts of complaints could be heard from those who had hoped, but didn't get picked.
Suddenly, the room was filled with gasps and shouts of disbelief.
Evander was enveloped in the blue light, the sleeping boy oblivious to the light as he snored away peacefully. Ramu, on the other hand, was just as shocked and it nudged the boy in the arm to try and shake him awake. Evander stirred before he eventually woke up with another long yawn, rubbing his eyes and looking around only to be met with the dissapointed looks of the others.
"Why are you all looking at me like that?" Evander worriedly muttered before he looked at his hands and saw the glow that covered him, the blue lights dancing around his body. Surprised, he looked at the leader for clarification, hoping that he was actually still asleep and was not the chosen one.
Alas, the leader looked just as distraught as the others, but he couldn't disagree with fate. "The faun has been selected, Evander Nyle is the chosen one," he announced to the room as Evander sat there, still in dismay over the reality.

The king glanced around, and then opened the jar. From the darkness inside, there were vibrant lights, blinking on and off. A creature, that looked like an eel but also a small mermaid, swam out, gazing upon the crowd. The creature swam over the crowd, earning multiple gasps, but did not claim any. Instead, it turned and looked back. Straight at Horizon. He gulped, why was it looking at him like that?? The creature studied him, circling him a bit, before butting him with its head. He looked at his father, who was staring back in pure shock and astonishment "What- Father, what does this mean?"
Instead, the king bowed his head, lowering his arms "The chosen one has been revealed. Prince Horizon has been chosen."

The gathering didn't last long after the announcement and nothing eventful really happened, except the rough pushing Evander had to put up with as the two faun guards forced him to the front where the leader put a golden chain on his neck as a gift for the one chosen by fate.
While most would love this attention, Evander hated it to the guts. There were no cheers or happy and proud faces from the crowd that would normally be seen or heard. Instead, all Evander was given were cold strares, dark faces and harsh whispers, the lace of hatred in the words echoing throughout his mind as he shakingly stood on the stage.
When he was released, he wasn't even allowed to return to his cabin. Instead, he was dragged to the leader's huge mansion, the closest thing to a mansion in the village, to ready for the journey. The moment the doors behind him were shut and he was left alone, he instantly went to a corner in the room and sat with his head in his hands, terrified of what he just went through, and what the future has in store for him. Ramu looked at the boy, it's eyes clouded in worry as it rubbed against Evander's leg to comfort him.
"We'll get through this, Evander. You'll be alright," Ramu's soft voices said in his head. One of Evander's arms reached for the ball of fur and pulled the animal closer, feeling the warmth of the wool on his cheeks.
"Yeah, we will get through this," he whispered back as he awaited further instructions from the village head, still sitting at the corner, tightly hugging Ramu in anticipation.

Inside the cup was an avian spirit, the oldest warrior that has saved the avian village many of times. "O spirit, hail your gift upon the chosen one!" The spirit danced and swayed, then went up in a flash of light. Excited murmur erupted as the tribe glanced this way and that, seeking the one. Instead the leader looked up; there Korya glided, blessed upon the wind power of the spirit. "Korya." The leader announced, and the crowd that was once looking around all looked up and cheered.
Korya gracefully glided down, landing on the mini stage in front of the crowd. "I will defeat the higher force that has taken over this world and save this troubled, torn apart village." The crowd cheered again as Korya walked off, grinning.

Meanwhile, The Wyverns and other dragons lived in massive Volcanos close to eachother so there were as expected, lots of fighting happening pretty often. Milo exits the cave he lived in, watching as all the dragons were put in different groups depending on what species of dragon they were to avoid discourse and such. Infront of all of the dragons were loads of royal dragon guards, protecting the leaders of each dragon tribe ontop of a giant rock.
