i had doubt that how long will it take to get a catch as i did fishing for more than 2 hrs to get only two catch which also escaped. is it a fault from my side i mean did do any mistake or bug i only face? because even using a bait didn't help. what should i do ? would be nice if someone helps me out. and would be nice if some also tells usually how much time does it take to get a catch.

by catch i mean to get a fish.

About 8 to 16 seconds.
If you're not managing to catch anything in 2 hours , it's most likely a problem with your internet or server connection.

i now waited for 5 min but not even a single catch. i used a old rod and a regular bait. Is it still0-16 sec or 1min??

You just have to wait until your trainer level is high enough. Once you reach a certain level(and you can check the wiki about the exact lvl you need) then it will appear in your town bar.
