I don't mean to be overly negative. I really like this game, I think it's fun and has a unique community aspect about it. However, I just spent a long while saving up for pokeradar when I found out that you have to spend 50,000 PD to even use it. Bro, I was wanting to start hunting shinies just for fun, but this whole thing isn't only a huge time investment, It's a whole virtual investment decision. It just kinda kills a little bit of the fun for me because I was really wanting to just collect shinies for different Pokémon, but now that doesn't seem like a good idea anymore. I know that this system isn't going to change, I'm just really disappointed.

Mind helping me out a bit? Thanks bro.

Well this game you can earn money and need to spend it. If you don't want in game money, i suggest use actual money and buy premium. That way no need to recharge it

Every single shiny hunter struggled through this.

Months From now 50k is nothing. Just get electric gems they are cheaper or if you don't like it , don't use it at all. 😐

I have seen people shiny hunt without pokeradar. How the pokeradar works here, I'm pretty sure that it just tells you your number hatched and your shiny odds. I don't think it does boost your chance with a shiny. So you can still shiny hunt, it'll just be harder not knowing your shiny odds and hatched count.
Then again, I'm not too sure on this information.

False, actually. When you reach chain 40 it does increase your odds. When you make a shiny chain, the odds increase the higher your chain is.

To add on, chain 40 is the maximum chance you can get. You can increase your odds further by buying premium and the shiny charm.

That being said, in the long run 50k won't be anything, like Alien said. Just be patient, sell some things play some games and you'll get there. Nothing happens over night.
