Gwen stood atop a building, looking at the map in her hand. She had successfully modified it to show the map of Alpha city. It wasn't too hard too, all she needed was to recalibrate the map to one of the weird shaped crystals she saw and boom, Alpha city map.

"Maybe if I set up one of these in the secret city I could have a map for there too..." She muttered, looking proudly at the map.
Octavian was planning to find Gwen, running past Kendo and Scara "Sup loosers! I'm out!"

"Wait a minute... Let me retrace my steps." She went over to the room she was previously in, her cloak still on the floor. "I know it was in my bag when I was in here, so..."

Walking back to the entrance of the dark hall (after avoiding a few alpha guards), she thought about it. "I know Scaramouche didn't take it. My bag was on the floor when I healed him..."

"Wait a minute-" She realized that there was only one other person that she met here, only one other alpha that went close enough to her once and didn't kill her.

"KENDO!! I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!"

Kendo started laughing, hearing Mercy scream out. "K, sorry Isa, gotta dip. Adios, prick!" He yoinked the Gnosis and the Shard , then disappeared, leaving the rest of the chessboard behind.

"I'm sure Scaramouche is already with him, I'll trace his magic instead of the shard and chess piece." She ran through the building, sensing the magical energy. She was closest at a door.

"It must be this room, then." Bracing herself, she turned the doorknob, opening it and slamming the door into the wall. "KENDO-"She stopped herself. Instead, she was face to face with Scaramouche, and another person. "Another alpha, perhaps..? Damn."
