This escape plan was going downhill. This new guy, the jester, since it was the Alpha Base, he could tell that this was definitely a foe

Going against her better judgement, she slipped through the gate, using a small amount of her magic. It wasn't going to be an easy task getting in, but if someone would walk out, she may have a chance. "Remember what you're doing this for..." She whispered quietly, trying to keep her presence unknown, hiding in one of the buildings many shadows. With her cloak, it was easier to blend in, so she was grateful she managed to take it from one of the lower ranked guards a while back.
