She smiled as she spoke, she always did when she talked about Ambrose, but through it one could obviously see ulterior motives- it wasn't genuine at all for the person in regard. Soon enough, the waitress came out with drinks and food. Quick service indeed.

"Here you are. Did you need anything else for now?"

"No, we're good, thank you." She nodded and walked away, Mercy passed out straws for everyone's drinks and lowered Caspian onto her lap so he could eat. "There you go, sweetie. Scaramouche, Isabelle, I'll order more sweets for you two when you're done with those."

"That's always a good idea." She chuckled, eating a bit of her food. "But I'd like to make his life as awful as possible for now. I want him to understand mentally and emotionally what he made us go through all this time."

“It’s fine” He rolled his eyes, not seeing a problem with talking about it but shutting up anyway. The food was very good. Sweet.

"With all due respect, Iteral, I don't think you've any right to scold me or tone down the matter with your 'logical side'. He hurt you too, I'm only giving him a taste of his own medicine." She continued to eat quietly after, finishing her drink. "If it concerns you that much, I'll save the conversation for when you're not around. I don't want you to feel uncomfortable having to hear it or anything."

Oooh drama. He was on Mercy’s side here (mainly because he absolutely despised Ambrose) but he kept quiet and ate the dessert that he had

I'm concerned about the scars we left on this plane of existence and want to do the best to mend them. And in a world of fixing mistakes, drama and tragedy are of no use except for stage play." She keeps eating, her gaze less stern but her tone still strict. "Out of line, hm. I wish you'd be out of line more often... it sounds like you were an actual living being."

Mercy stayed silent, Iteral's last line causing her to blush more and frown out of embarrassment. She stared down at Caspian and tried to distract herself by going through her phone some more, waiting for everyone to finish. "Do you want more dessert, then?" She asked Scaramouche quietly.

Isabelle was very intrigued. And curious. "You said that with a straight face! Usually I just end up laughing if I say something as serious like that." She said, and looked down at her empty plate. "Unless I'm talking to someone who I despise."

After a couple of minutes, the waitress came back, collecting the empty dishes. "Will that be all for you today?"

"Can I just have two boxes of macarons? Any flavor will do." She nodded and wrote that down, walking away once more. Saying the conversation with Iteral didn't affect her mood would've been a lie, but she willed herself not to think about it to much- after all, it was a normal routine at this point. She would get used to it someday. "Was the food good for you all?"
