Things on Asgard might have gone one way, with Ragnarok's threat waning and Loki and Thor leaving Asgard only to run into the nefarious Thanos, but in an aleternate dimension, another sulotion was found that did not end with the destruction of Asgard, but with Hela's death regardless and the freeing of the people. Slowly, Asgard rebuilt itself. Loki and Thor's adventures together caused them to bond closer as time went on, Loki going down a better path.

At the current time, a young aprentince of Frigga was slipping away from her master, hoping not to get caught as she went down the path.

The familiar God of Mischief had found himself in a much better position then before Ragnarok, though, nothing could stop him from his trickster ways. Right now, he was sneaking a Midguardian friend of his, Jax, into the palace, messing with illusions as he did so with a smile on his face.

Aether was wandering around, having thankfully bribed Lady Sif to cover for her for that day. She carried her spear around, which was currently glowing softly with Light magic. It had been so long since she last took a proper break. She roamed through the streets and shops on Asgard, thinking about what she would do.

Liv was sure that she was alone on the path. But as she caught the sensing of illusions, she knew that she wasn't alone. As she turned the corner, she realized that it was indeed what she thought. It was Prince Loki! But now, she knew, she'd have to work hard not to be caught. Especially if she were to figure out what exactly he was disguising. And so, she stole along, quietly and quickly.

She was being watched.

A dark figure who seemed to be made of smoke. His yellow eyes grinned with delight. "New, fresh magic prey," he giggled. "Soon we'll have them all, and I can take their magic."

Loki had heard someone coming, and quickly hid Jax as a guard. This "guard" was standing besides Loki, seemingly just talking to him. "Just stay as casual as you can, please?" Loki had asked in a hushed tone.

She got closer and closer, then stopped when she realized that Prince Loki was talking to a guard. But...the feelings of illusion, that natural twinge in the air Liv had always felt around magic, just wouldn't go away. If she had been paying more attention, she would have noticed that the illusions seemed to be coming from the guard, but she never did notice. Still, hoping to sneak past them, she kept moving forwad, moving behind a shubbery.

Liv froze. He couldn't have heard her, could he? But she gave up, and stepped out from behind the bush. "Forgive me, Prince Loki," She said, looking at her feet. "I didn't mean to spy."

He scanned over Liv, a confused look on his face. "Aren't you supposed to be with mother right now? What are you doing down here?" He was sure he'd done a full search over the palace before bringing Jax in--was he not careful enough?

"Technically, she did send me on an errand...fifteen minutes ago...But I wanted to know what the rest of the palace grounds looked like! I've been cooped up for ages, and oh, this is stupid, I need to go, I'm terribly sorry for bothering you." She turned to leave.

The guard hadn't said a word, and was just shifting from leg to leg nervously. Loki smiled and gave her a small bow, as well as a flower he'd made with his magic. "Now, why don't you head back to mother?"

She took the flower, and went to leave, but at the last minute, just as she was about to turn the corner, she looked back over her shoulder at them, still curious and confused about the magic.

Loki had turned his back on Liv, and the magic covering Jax had faded away, leaving a relieved looking Midguardian, playfully hitting Loki's arm. "You have to be more careful!" "I was careful!"
