"Good thing the Center's close..." Theo moved a bit closer to Viola in case it was too loud for her to hear their comment. They tilted their head towards the direction of the familiar red-roofed building.

Viola nodded, walking to the pokecenter. So there were a lot of people, but it was going to be hard to sneak to the cafe without Theo suspecting anything. Maybe the opportunity will present itself soon...

Entering, Theo managed to ask the nurse for a quick team heal. As they waited, they had their attention to the news, as if they were eager to know... a certain something.

Viola was looking at the map of Hammerlocke to see where the cafe her dad helped at was. There seemed to be one cafe that she thought the name was familiar.

Sobble was also interested in the map.

Noticing Theo being distracted, Viola quickly left the pokecenter. the moment she was out she ran to the Cafe on the map. The cafe should know her dad, maybe he visited a few days ago...

Sobble clung onto her shoulder as she ran.

They didn't seem to be paying any attention to things outside the news. Theo lifted their head, hearing someone start talking about Unova, but sat back down, realizing it was just about one of the gym leaders. "Well... There goes that."

Viola arrived at the cafe, where some trainers were having a pokemon battle. Her dad explained that this Cafe was where trainers went to find other trainers to train with.

Sobble looked around the cafe, curious.

"Huh... Viola?" Theo turned, realizing she wasn't there. Frowning, they decided to wait a bit, at least until their team was healed before heading out of the center. "Where did she go...?"

Viola decided to ask the cafe manager if they saw her father in the last few years, even showing an old photo of him.

"No, he hasn't visited in the last.. let's see..." The cafe manager started, trying to remember. "5 years? He just stopped coming one day."

"Come to think about it.." the cafe manager started "He said he was thinking about setting up a small research post in one of the other towns, to assist with the gym challenge..."

after getting some info on the Gym challenge like how you need an Endorsement letter to join, Viola left the cafe after ordering a quick drink of Soda. So he was still possibly around, assisting with the gym challenge...

Sobble was eating a berry the cafe manager gave them for being such a cute pokemon.

Theo approached the area near the cafe, rubbing the back of their head. "I didn't know where you went, kinda got worried." they shrugged, trying to hide the slight upset tone in their voice.
