She's dead, Hisoka's brain whispered. She's dead. Everyone's safe now.
Shouldn't Monokuma be-? But the bear was still grinning. It caught Hisoka's eye, and he looked away. The thought shamed him... but he was too scared to think about being a Yamanaku anymore. Particularly when he had accepted he never would be one.
Suko and Megami were collapsed down on their podiums. Suko was slipping alone. Megami was held upright by Suzume.
He could delude himself no longer.
"Welcome to hell, Hisoka," he murmured.
Title: Timeskeeep
I woke with a groan and saw I was in the nurses station, sitting in a chair beside a cabinet filled with all sorts of medicine, such as antibiotics.

I sat in my room staring at the ceiling. Jeez, this is getting dark. No one here's handling it well.

The students of Hope's Peak Academy had been hustled out of the Beach and into the School once more. Hisoka tries to get a glimpse of the sun to determine if it were really there or not, but the doors closed before he or anyone else got the chance.
They were back at Hope's Peak Academy.
This hadn't happened since Redmonda's death.
A grim atmosphere settled over the group huddled in the common area. It was clear what they were all thinking.
They were trapped. Between a rock and a hard place.
Or, perhaps, as they stared at a Lemonade styled stand with an array of weapons on it...
Between a knife and a sharp place.
"Are we going to talk about that?" With a sharp gesture of their chin, Suko referred to the stand. Their eyes were soft, sad. Unlike any other emotion they had displayed before.
"We should," Hisoka agreed softly. "Anyone?"
Third Person POV
"Probably..." Hisoka fell silent.
"WELL THAT'S WHERE YOU'RE WRONG!" Monokuma popped into existence. "I'M BACK, BITCHES! YOU MISS ME?"
"You were gone twenty minutes..." Niwa muttered.
"That was my replacement! He's dead now because he did a bad job of being me!"

The bear scampered over to the stand and took his place behind it. He clapped his paws together. "Congratulations!" he chirped. "Four murders have already been committed! You've made it to a super special school event!"
"Selling weapons?" Hisoka cocked an eyebrow.
Monokuma's grin didn't falter. "Nope, silly~ The Super High School Festival!" At his student's blank looks, Monokuma continued, "You're going to have a fun time in our school! Making activities, buying treats, listening to band performances- You've all been working so hard, you deserve a break!"
"I thought that would've been the school trip..." Hisoka muttered.
"That wasn't easy," Suko said quietly. "Don't say that, Hisoka. Please."
Hisoka glared at them. "Hmph."
"Shut up, both of you," Niwa snarled at them. He whipped to Keiki. "We're leaving. Let's get back to our dorms before one of these lunatics plants a bomb in our room."
(fyi when referring to Moonling fronting I'll just write Moonling, its still Koda though basically)
I stumbled through the school, my head was foggy as I attempted to summon a mental map of the school despite my lack of mental capacity. Eventually, I came to a room with a lot of loud voices. Nice to find people, the splitting headache was less nice. "What the everloving fuck is going on here. Please, someone tell me."

Third Person POV
Every eye in the room turned to face Megami.
Niwa broke eye contact first. With a sneer, he hooked Keiki's arm and stormed out of the room. The atmosphere pressed in on them.
Suko broke into a fit of coughs.
The air lightened.
"Oh bother," Hisoka sighed.
"What a nightmare," Hisoka mumbled.
Monokuma pouted. "Aww, you're so mean to me." Then he perked up. "Come by anytime~ make sure to prepare for the school festival first, though~"
"Will there be a haunted house?" Suko asked.
"Puhuhuhu~ Up to you."
Suko tilted their head at Megami. "Eh?"
"Erm-" Hisoka looked back and forth. "...Something, okay? Something we need to be quiet about."
