Kowai Kurai's POV
"And it was just such a plain, clean murder, wasn't it? One that no one would know about. You would've all been safe, never had to go to the Trials ever again! For the time being, at least. And when I killed Femi, yyou know what I did?" She giggled even more hysterically. "Guess? Guess? I lured him into that room with a note about Amano! I pretended it was from Suko and planted it in his bag the night we played Hide and Seek! And get this! He didn't even consider that I could've killed him! He thought HIS OWN BELOVED SUKO HAD DONE IT TO HIM, RIGHT BEFORE HE DIED!! All it took was some alcohol from Keiki's party, which I hid in the sand piles. And then I just had to light the match and then-" She waved her hands around. "SHBOOM!! Fireworks!"
She squealed. "And then as Femi was there, shaking and dying, with the flesh burning away from his face, his last thought dwelled on how his own partner lied to him, and it was what he shakingly wrote with his fingernails! Isn't that sooo funny?" She broke into peals of laughter. Then a disappointed look came upon her face.
"You know, I really couldn't get why none of you could figure it out. I was trying to help you all in the right direction the entire time! And it's funny, isn't it? The only two people who could've said a word had to keep their mouths begrudgingly closed. But you know, I had nothing against Femi, either, you see! It was simply a matter of-" She tapped the side of her face in thought. "Convenience! I just knew, during the party. It would be SO easy to get away with! He just needed to be separated from Suko for one night. And, well, let's just say I wasn't the only one who wanted him dead. Am I correct in saying this, Hisoka Yamanaku?"
"And you knowww, there is an entire other reason for me doing th-" Kowai felt a hard slap across her face. Suzume had gotten up from her podium. "Shut. Up." Her eyes were welling with tears. "GIVE THEM BACK, KOWAI. GIVE. THEM. BACK!" She slapped Kowai across the face again.
"Youch! Okay, okay, jeez, Miss Fujimori, I'm going, I'm going. But you know... are you really in any place to demand my death?" She gave her a dark look. "I know what you did. You think that saving any amount of people, pretending to care about any number of people, will ever take away what you did?"
Suzume's face looked hollow. She slapped Kowai again, this time with less force. "You don't- you don't know what you're talking about," she croaked, her knees buckling beneath her.
"And oh, Koda," Kowai half-murmured with a click of her tongue and a sigh. "You were all too willing to play along. You helped me with this in a way, and for that, I have to say thank you!" She waltzed on over, took Koda's hands, and squeezed them. "My unknowing little accomplice."
"And there's someone else here... you know who you are. You'll thank me for all this later, trust me!" She spun around and put her arms behind her back. "Will that be all, Monokuma?"

But as she walked away from Koda, she turned her face away from her. She didn't want her to see the slight glistening of something in her eyes.
Somehow... she felt something she'd never felt before.
She walked on over to Suko. "I am sorry, Suko, really," she said in a voice that didn't seem all too genuine. "You know... something Femi said before he died? At first, he didn't want to believe it was you. He'd cried out, "Help me, Suko, help me! PLEASE, GET ME OUT OF HERE! PLEASE! I don't want to die..." but you know, you never heard it when he said it. When he'd banged on the door, bawling his eyes out! He was pleading with you to get him out of there! And then his mind connected it... "They must have brought me here to kill me"."
"I knew... I knew there was something wrong with you!" Suzume sputtered, banging her fists on the ground. "J-j-just WHO ARE YOU, REALLY?! HOW- How can... you do this to people?"
Kowai walked over to Suzume and took her face in her hands. "That... is none of your concern. But you know... you're one to talk about..." She paused. "Well, don't worry! I'll be gone soon anyway!"

Koda winced. She realized words hurt... more than she thought. And so does burning alive. "Sick psychopath." Koda whispered under her breath.
Yet, nothing could hide the feeling of loneliness stirring inside as Koda wondered what could have been.
Kōun no Megami
I glared at Kowai, not even daring to look at anyone else. Not Suko, who I briefly suspected- all a part of Kowai's plan, I suppose -not Hisoka, who I'm not sure how to feel about, not even Suzume, who had reasonable hatred beyond words for Kowai.

Hisoka Yamanaku
Kowai was mad. Utterly mad. Hisoka couldn't- no, he could, he could believe it. She was Kowai, and everyone, he most of all, had known she was a monster.
"You know, I really couldn't get why none of you could figure it out. I was trying to help you all in the right direction the entire time! And it's funny, isn't it? The only two people who could've said a word had to keep their mouths begrudgingly closed." Hisoka flinched. Who was she talking about-? Oh, that was so obvious- "Convenience! I just knew, during the party. It would be SO easy to get away with! He just needed to be separated from Suko for one night. And, well, let's just say I wasn't the only one who wanted him dead. Am I correct in saying this, Hisoka Yamanaku?"
Hisoma recoiled violently. His arm jarred the lever. He quickly set it back before he voted for nobody at all.
Kowai kept rambling and cackling and screaming her head off, an utterly sick expression on her face. She was enjoying this. This was her moment of triumph.
Then a smack resounded through the room. Kowai's head was turned to the side. Suzume's hand was raised, and she was panting with fury.
Suzume had gotten up from her podium. "Shut. Up." Suzume shook.
She said something else, but Hisoka blocked it out.
Kowai hates us. That's why she did this. It's not because of me...
He voted for Kowai. But for some reason he couldn't help but look at another face on the screen...
Niwa Atsushi
As Kowai went on and on, a shudder of disgust awoke in Niwa. What the hell was wrong with her, traumatizing everyone for her own selfish pleasure?
"That's enough," Niwa said shortly. "I'm voting." He tapped on Kowai's icon and yanked down the lever. Everything she said sickened him. He hoped she burned in hell.
Suko Nobu
He died screaming for me to save him. He died knowing I killed him.
Everything shattered for Suko. Everything. Hide and Seek. Fireworks. Their own gun. Fingernails, Femi's scorched face.
The whole world was broken, and Suko hadn't even died.
They choked and voted.
This time, when they voted for themself, they entirely meant it.
Third Person POV
"Puhuhuhu~ the votes are in. Who will be chosen as the Blackened? Have you made the right choice or the dreeeadfully wroooooong one?"
The slot spun over and over and landed on three icons of Kowai's face.
DINGDINGDING!
"CORRECT! THE BLACKENED HIDING AMONG YOU WAS NONE OTHER THAN KOWAI KURAI!"
Suzume Fujimori's POV
Suzume felt as though she was going to vomit. She was shaking so hard. They... lived. Because Kowai had confessed. When she would've gotten away with it? Why?... didn't she want them all dead?
"She wants us to continue living," she murmured. "But why..."
Suddenly, she was pulled into reality. "Megami!" she cried, running over and picking her girlfriend up.
She grimaced. So Femi was going to be avenged.
But she's right. I still failed. I failed everyone. They'll all die... because of me.
Kowai Kurai's POV
"I've never known anyone so much like me. Who I understood so well."
"Chuku, can you stop screaming so much all the time? Suko, I advise you not to think about Femi too long. Make the most of your time, you know?"
"And Niwa!" She waltzed over and gripped his shoulder, with the most twisted smile. "I'll see you later, okay?"
Suzume looked shaken. Kowai knew what she was thinking. What did she mean by that?

Her hand touched his shoulder. Niwa shook slightly. That twisted look on her face...
He jerked back.
"I'll see you later, okay?"
Seized by a sudden mad terror, he snatched the lever and began jamming the Kowai icon. Just kill her already! he begged internally. Keep those horrid words- and that smile- away from me!
"Puhuhuh~ said your goodbyes?" A flash of relief came over Niwa. Oh thank god. Oh thank god god god god- I'll see you later, okay? No! He jerked back, hugging himself. Oh god- oh god- Does she-?

"Alright then! Time for the execution of Kowai Kurai- the Ultimate Arsonist! Puhuhuhu~ BAM!" Monokuma smashed his mallet down. "I always wanted to do that!"
"Good riddance." Koda's voice was made out of anger and betrayal, but the stitches, barely visible (more so audible) were born of sorrow and heartbreak.
I'm so, so, so foolish...
Kowai Kurai's POV
Suzume Fujimori's POV
The Ultimate Arsonist. Yet it still chilled her to hear it. Kowai had very clearly been lying about accidentally burning her family's home down. Just how many did she burn down, to be deemed worthy of such a menacing title?... no wonder she kept it a secret all this time, if she was going to kill like this.
But... why did she confess? "Wait... Kowai! I still have to ask you something!" Suzume cried. She'll probably lie. But I need to know!

Narrator
But before Kowai's eyes could even turn to look at Suzume, the claw burst through the ceiling and seized her by the scruff of her neck. And then Kowai, the killer of Femi and Amano, the smiling girl, the mass-murderer of proportions they weren't even aware of- was swept away to the Execution Room.
The doors swung open. And they saw a blazing fire.
Hisoka Yamanaku
Hisoka was on his feet in an instant, shrugging off the whirlwind of emotions. It didn't matter right now. He just needed to see Kowai's death for himself.
He broke into the Execution Room.
And through a screen, Kowai was bodily thrown through a window into a burning building. Hisoka inhaled sharply. He had a bad feeling about this...
Niwa Atsushi
Niwa watched, heart in his throat, as Kowai slammed onto tiles. She struggled to her feet, and then a patch by her ankle lit on fire. She leapt up, and glanced back and forth- looking for the fire escapes, presumably.
She ducked and dove and every time, a new fire would spring up and singe her skin. Her breathing was growing raspier and she kept coughing and-
The walls shook visibly. It was all coming down.
Suko Nobu
Suko looked up, just in time to see the death of Kowai Kurai.
She stepped through a fire escape. The flames engulfed her, blocking out the building, blocking out every angle, except- off the roof. She jumped away from the fire, but-
She slipped on the railing. She clutched it, but the fire was growing closer and closer and then-
Kowai, the monster, closed her eyes and fell off the fire escape.
Flames engulfed the entire building.
Execution Warning Ended.
