"You care about me?" Niwa looked like he was about to start crying again. "Oh- Oh my gosh, Keiki. You don't know what you're saying." He rubbed his eyes a bit. "Y-You silly goose. You're comforting me- I should be comforting you." His hands dropped and he gave Keiki a watery smile. "Yeah. Let's talk. Thank you."

"Eh?" Suko frowned. "But- Femi! He was just unconscious! He needs to go to his roooommmm!" In all seriousness, they were prepared to fight for Femi's protection. SOMEONE MIGHT ATTACK HIM IF HE SLEPT ON THE FLOOR, HE NEEDED OUT OF THIS STUPID ISOLATED PARTY ROOM BIZ AND INTO SAFETY!

"Nawww- I'll care for you no matter what- unless you steal my nail varnish, then we'll have trouble." Keiki grinned. "Come on Niwa, I'll make space for you- " Keiki climbed back onto their bed, pushing books, pencils and paper towards the end of the bed. Keiki quickly shoved their satchel underneath their pillow, praying Niwa didn't see.

Niwa didn't appear to. He clambered up onto Keiki's bed, wrapping his arms around his knees. He gazed across the room, red eyes glinting in the waning moonlight from the window.

"Do you want to talk about anything...?"

Keiki shrugged. "I don't mind." They smiled. "I can't believe I'm dating you, Niwa. I've only ever dated once before this whole thing. I had a girlfriend, I called them Sae-Sae."

Keiki grinned.

"I hope we make it out of here Niwa, me and you. We could live a happy life. We can do it." Keiki smiled. Tears were pouring down their face. "I really hope so."

Keiki sniffed. "I can't...talk about this anymore, I'm sorry. I'm too emotional-" They half-laughed.

"On an unrelated topic....uh- your hair looks really nice today, Niwa- ummm....How's your day been?" They started to sob even more. "I can't do this, oh my gawd-" They whispered.

"I really enjoyed the party. Seems like Chuku joined in. She's been a little quiet. I know what she looks like- don't tell her I said that. I saw her real face-" Keiki rambled on. They threw their arms over Niwa.

"Niwa, please. Promise me you'll try and get through this with me, okay? Please- please-"

Keiki shrugged. Their eyes appeared to be glowing in the moonlight. Niwa was caught breathless for a moment. "I don't mind." Their smile didn't seem to reach their eyes."I can't believe I'm dating you, Niwa. I've only ever dated once before this whole thing. I had a girlfriend, I called them Sae-Sae."

Niwa's gaze dropped, a little ashamed. Was Keiki saying-?

And then they were speaking again. "I hope we make it out of here Niwa, me and you. We could live a happy life. We can do it." A happy life? That had never been possible for Niwa. He looked up, half expecting to see a mocking grin on Keiki's face. A tear slipped from Keiki's reddened face and landed on Niwa's hand. "I really hope so. I can't...talk about this anymore, I'm sorry. I'm too emotional-" They laughed in a way that Niwa had never heard come from Keiki before.

"On an unrelated topic....uh- your hair looks really nice today, Niwa- ummm....How's your day been?" Sobs shook Keiki's shoulders. They started muttering to themself, then suddenly burst into words. "I really enjoyed the party. Seems like Chuku joined in. She's been a little quiet. I know what she looks like- don't tell her I said that. I saw her real face-" Niwa hardly had a chance to blink before Keiki's arms were around him. He gave a startled gasp.

"Niwa, please. Promise me you'll try and get through this with me, okay? Please- please-"

That was a lot. Niwa opened his mouth to answer. Then he hesitated.

Can I make that promise?

He thought of the faces of the horrible people around them. Suko, uncaring and mocking to the last. Redmonda, manipulative and smug, even under her sobs and begs for mercy. And of course, Kowai. He saw her cold eyes in his minds' eye view.

There was no escape for all of the Ultimates.

But Keiki...

"I promise." He took Keiki's hand. "We will get out of here. I will do whatever we have to- to- to be the ones to escape this school. Us, only we matter here."

Only Keiki mattered. Only Keiki with their sweet, genuine smiles and those teasing jokes- that genuine care for others under a mask of indifference.

Keiki had to make it out of here.

Kowai Kurai's POV

"I'm sure he'll be fine! Let's just get him to his room!" Kowai told Suko, smiling cheerily. "I'll help!"
"No thank you!" Femi replied quickly. "I- I think I'll- go there by myself! Good day- er- good night!" He [half-limped] darted off. Kowai crossed her arms. "Nowww can we have fun?!?"

Femi Davis's POV

Femi felt anxious once again. He'd just blacked out. He had to be more careful...

He didn't want to end up like the others...

Suko scowled at Kowai. "Thanks a lot..." they mumbled.

Koda had curled herself neatly into a Koda pile on the floor. Quietly, she watched what was happening.

Kowai.

Just them could she be bothered noticing. So much so, when Femi darted off, she'd almost began to nod off. She jerked her head upwards with an enormous yawn. "Are we goinggg?" She whined.

Kowai Kurai's POV

"Of course we are, Koda! Hmmm... should we go to the beach or to the library maybe? What d'you guys think?"

The library might be a better option. But she had to see what Suko and Koda thought. It might be important...

Femi Davis's POV

As Femi got back in his dorm, he began to hyperventilate, and start to cry in trembling sobs. Oh...
Suko wasn't here. He was just clutching a pillow.

And it seemed Kowai was getting them to do something... just when did he grow to miss them so much? When would they be back?...

He didn't want to be here without them...

Suko was, in their opinion, very reasonably mad. Femi was scared! Suko had promised to protect him! And what did Kowai do? Just trample all over him! It was messed up, that's what it was.

Poor Femi...

Suko just hoped they'd be all right, because it sure looked like they wouldn't get out of this one. And they kinda had to do this anyway because they cared about Femi too much- "Beach?" they suggested. We'll be close enough to Femi.

Hisoka Yamanaku

No one was paying attention to Hisoka, and he had a headache, so he backed out of this situation and decided to forsake all human contact. Except of course, Maji. He poked his head into the hallway, and looked around. No one!

Except for the absolutely terrifying trio and a fleeing somewhat psychotic Animal Trainer! Yay!

"Okay..." He inched back and then immediately slammed the door shut before any of the crazies noticed and infected him. He glanced around, hoping Maji was still here, because he did not want to walk back to his dorm with Buraddo. She was growing increasingly unmentally stable, the longer she was away from Megami.

So. Kiwi was gone- had he heard that one from Suko, or was it a product of a stupid 'Soka brain? Oh- he heard 'Soka from Maji- that was at least better than Hiso! Or Hi- oh god, not Hi- and they'd taken emotionally crippled girl with them.

Hmm. No options.

Wait! Alas! There was but one!

"Nakata?" he called. Wait, shouldn't he have called Maji- "Nakata! Are you still here?"

"Okay...okay..." Keiki whispered. They still clung onto Niwa.

Chuku cursed her roleplayer for not letting her have any interactions.

Niwa smiled softly, something unknown to even himself. He clutched Keiki's hand throughout the night, awaiting the moment where it would all come crashing down to earth...

A moment where he would ensure that Keiki would escape.

Kowai Kurai's POV

Suko is awfully quiet. Aw, why so sad? Did I scare your precious little lamb?

Kowai frowned and narrowed her eyes, before a friendly expression plastered upon her face again in an instant. "Oh, no! I have a far better idea! There's this really cool room I found. I'm sure you guys would love to see it!" She cupped her hands together and glanced from Koda to Suko. "You in? Seriously, it's REALLY cool!"

Please say yes please say yes please say yes. You'll make this a whole lot easier.

Femi Davis's POV

Femi couldn't sleep. He was far too afraid. He could feel his body tensing up. No, he was always afraid! He was safe here...

Safe... Suko would keep him safe. He knew it.

"Great! Let's go!" She grabbed Koda and Suko by their arms, and hurried in the direction of the room.

SUKO SCREAMED AT THE TOP OF THEIR LUNGS KNOWING KOWAI WAS TAKING THEM OFF TO BE MURDERED

Chuku woke up suddenly, after a bloody and gory nightmare. Her hands were shaking. She took deep breaths, and exited her dorm, pacing in a circle. She'd been having nonstop nightmares since the last death, and they were just getting worse.

She bumped into Hisoka.

"Hm?"

"Oh- shoot. I'm sorry- didn't mean to bump into you-" She muttered quickly, staring at the ground. Flashes of her nightmare still danced in her vision.

"No problem." Hisoka eyed her for a minute. "Chuku, right?"
