She didnt't care, and didnt even pay attention to her dorm mate
Redmonda
Red walked to her dorm with Nakata.
Excited to meet her!
She walked to her dorm contently, and gently knocked on the door.
Femi Davis's POV
Kowai Kurai's POV
Suzume Fujimori's POV
Great. Not suspicious at all! "Let's... go inside." She slowly opened the door, half-expecting there to be some demonic sacrifice happening in there- surprise! No demonic sacrifice ritual.
The room did look, rather boring, though. Better boring than dangerous, she mused. "So... Megami. This is my dorm. I guess we should go to sleep now?" she asked.
Nagisa Aoki's POV
She took Amano and Niwa's hands and headed to his dorm, but on the way, Nagisa stopped suddenly and started sneezing. "ACHOO! A-Ah! ACHOO! Oh- oh my goodness. I'm so sorry! I- Stupid allergies... it must be all the dust in here. I'm not seriously allergic to anything besides peanuts, but... yeah, heh. You know. Let's just keep going!" Nagisa did proceed to keep going, and then, eventually, they arrived. "Hey! So- um- we're h-" Nagisa accidentally let go of both their hands and paled, going as still as the walls. She was staring at the portrait on the door...
"Wh-what is this?" Nagisa stammered, staring at what was upon the door. "I-" He shook her head. "Forget it- let's- just go inside, right?" She turned to his companions. "Right? Let's just... go inside." Nagisa opened the door, slowly...

"Everything is going to be okay."
....new people.
...new opportunities...
To fail, that is.
Ultimate Musician?
Yeah, right.
Me?
...
Good-for-nothing Kanai?
She scoffed.
Kanai surveyed her surroundings with piercing hazel eyes.
I don't trust him...
And her...
And him..
And them...
...
I don't trust anybody.
She thought, looking at the strangers walking by.
Strangers.
Kanai shuddered.
No people....no people.
They can't understand.
"Where the heck do I go?"
She muttered to herself, glancing down at her feet.
"What is this place?"
Too many questions.
Kanai adjusted the ukulele on her back.
Ultimate...Musician?
Kanai's eyes grew worried.
They can't know.
....
She dismissed her thoughts promptly, and wandered around nervously, Kanai's frail looking fingers tapping quickly on the hem of jeans.
"...where do I go?"
She repeated, to no one.
Third Person POV
Hisoka ran trembling hands through his hair and leaned forward on his tiptoes, clasping the dangling portrait. A scowling girl with twin braids stared back.
Over her face a phrase was written- in something as red as blood.
You're all in hot water, here. For Chika, however, it might have more to do with "cold".
"Chika... is that her name?" A shaky note was in his voice. "How... interesting."
Amano Tetsuo
"Allergies, eh?" He nodded sympathetically. "I don't have any. I suppose I'm lucky in that regard. Peanut allergies-" A loud rattling sound-" Amano hissed under his breath, looking back and forth- but it was impossible to locate the source. He shook his head. "Peanut allergies are dangerous. Quite unfortunate for you, my friend." Another loud noise. He turned the knob, following her inside. There were two beds inside.
He paused in the doorway.
Besides him, Niwa continued forward, jostling his shoulder, and stopping by the right bed. Without another word, he dropped down and promptly curled into a ball.
Guess I'll sleep on the floor. He barely held back a shudder. That brought back too many memories... Memories he couldn't live with. Not yet.
"I'll find some blankets," he said aloud. "You two stay in here, okay? I'll knock three times exactly. Only open the door if you hear that exactly, sound good?"
Kanai hesitated.
"I should go to my....dorm-?"
Is that the word?
"....I'm losing my mind."
She whispered to herself.
Her feet seemed to have a mind of their own, as they walked on through, as if they've been here before, whereas, Kanai on the other hand, looked confused.
"....what is this place?"
She whispered to herself.
Kanai's feet came to a stop, (At last, she thought).
Her mouth opened wide.
That's not a dorm-
That's a-
"Crater."
She gasped.
Debris littered the floor.
"Who did this?"
She asked herself.
Kanai's eyes grew worried.
"...who would do such a thing?"
She asked to herself, louder than intended.
Hisoka Yamanaku
At the sound of the voice across the hall, Hisoka's head snapped up. He cast a questioning glance at Korwai- then slowly gave an affirmative nod.
He straightened up, pivoting on his heel, and faced the person behind them. He didn't recognize her, at least not enough to make an impression. A background character, then, I presume. But there was something off...
"I assume you were to be my dormmate?"
Third Person POV
The strange man regarded her for a long moment, then gave a brisk nod. "Hisoka Yamanaku. The Ultimate Jeweller. I believe we were roommates- before one of our fellow 'Ultimates' blew down our wall." He opened his mouth to say more, but then-
BANG
The entire wall gave a visible shudder.
Third Person POV
In an instant, Hisoka was at the wall, pressing his hand to it. But it was still. His eyes darkened. With a hiss, he slammed his fist into it.
A loud BANG echoed.
The plaster rattled-
And then lay still. The hall was quiet again.
Hisoka got to his feet. From the way he was positioned, neither girl could see his shadowed face. Then he lifted it, expression clipped and calm. "That's interesting." His hand went to his pocket, but he didn't remove anything. "Really... quite interesting." He turned to the both of them.
"Since our dorm has met... an unfortunate end, how would you like to bunk with Miss Kowai and I?" he murmured, the ever tranquility of a pool. "I assure you, we will explain all things. And you will not find yourself murdered should you come with us."
Kowai Kurai's POV
Nagisa Aoki's POV
"If only we had another bunkmate... it's too bad Nakata's not here. I hope he made it back to his dorm safely!" Then, Nagisa had an idea. "Wait, maybe- I could go get the blankets! While... you both stay here and get comfortable? I'm sure I'll be fine!"
Besides, no one would kill anyone, I'm sure. And... I wouldn't want my dormmates to risk... losing their lives... It had occurred to Nagisa that he'd be risking his own life, performing this task. But she was perfectly willing to do so, if it meant his new friends wouldn't end up hurt, or anyone else.

"Everything is going to be okay."
Third Person POV
The sheer force of Hisoka's glare could've knocked over an elephant. "Of course," he said through gritted teeth. "My friend here is joking. We are not in the habit of murdering people."
Which clearly wasn't suspicious. Oh no. Hisoka just wanted to murder her at this point; he had lost all interest in recruiting someone else. Kowai generally had that effect on people.
Amano Tetsuo
You want to get them? His brain short circuited for a second, but he quickly jolted back to reality. "Ah, yes... Of course. I think I'll be fine, though. Just hold on, my friends! I will return quickly with my needed supplies!" He gave a salute. "Just hang on! I will be back!"
Before she could protest, he was breezing out of the room. Internally, his mind was in turmoil, turning over all the things he'd just learned. None of that. Just smile. And smile he did.
Even as he felt the dread building within him.
The fear.
The knowledge that just for a moment, he'd realized just how easily he could escape from this game...
How easy a murder had come to his mind, the cruel songbird pecking at the edges, willing his mind to concave.
Amano couldn't let that happen. They had to escape together.
But one thought lingered in the back of his mind.
If I fell to it... just how easily could the others?
Hisoka Yamanaku
Oh, so you didn't scare her away? Hisoka thought. He considered lightening his glare directed at her, but ultimately changed his mind. She wasn't worth it. Just an annoyed fire-obsessed brat who thought highly of herself and her place in society.
As if that isn't familiar?
Hisoka huffed, partially outraged and amused at his own thoughts. Which was sort of... He cut the line of thought before it could go further. Insanity wasn't good on the record for a Yamanaku, not one who thought they could actually make a difference in society.
"Very well. Shall we go, then?"
She didn't trust them.
Not one bit.
She closed her eyes, taking a small breath to calm herself.
Calm down Kanai.
Calm.
Her eyes fixated on the man, and she frowned.
There was something....off about him.
Kanai didn't trust him.
Kowai Kurai's POV
Hisoka. Hisoka. Not Hiso-ku. But there was something that bugged her about Hisoka's eyes. That glare he had... She'd have to watch her back.
Nagisa Aoki's POV
"A-Amano! Wait!" Nagisa cried. But he'd already left. And Nagisa wasn't sure if he wanted to leave Niwa all alone... she sighed.
"Oh, I hope he'll be okay... Niwa? Do you think he'll be alright?" he asked nervously, glancing over at his other friend.
But, Nagisa, however hopeful she tried to be... couldn't help but wonder if they wouldn't all be alright. As much as he tried not to...

"Everything is going to be okay."
Third Person POV
For some reason, Hisoka's scowl deepened in his face. He threw back his hair and stormed off, not even looking behind to see if they'd follow.
Niwa Atsushi
Eh...? Niwa looked up, slightly surprised, and a faint blush spread across his cheeks as he realized the person was talking to him. Damn, she's cute.
"Yes- everything will all be fine." He hoped that worked. She was probably talking about the guy who'd left, right? Amaro? Mario? "We are safe here. No one would go after anyone who's a part of a group. Unless they purposefully wanted... to split..." He trailed off. The damage was already done.
Crap.
"Not that that'd happen," he added hurriedly. "We're all safe here. No one'll try anything." It was getting worse by the minute. "U-um- Goodnight! I shall see you tomorrow!"
He threw his blanket over his head and buried his nose in his pillow.
Well, he thought.
That could've gone worse.
Amano Tetsuo
Amano had searched around the entire left wing of the school, but he couldn't find a single closet. It was almost troubling. He understood that it might take a while for a school to be fixed into the perfect killing game... but this wasn't organized like either. No matter the time the bear had taken to organize this school, he couldn't just- get rid of closets!
There was nothing. The school had classrooms. A cafeteria. Bathrooms. Dorms.
Even a blocked staircase, which was as ominous as it was promising.
But there wasn't a teacher's lounge, or at least one that looked finished. Such a prestigious school as Hope's Peak would surely take better care of their employees.
Right?
"Ooof!"
He staggered back several steps, waving off his thoughts. He'd accidentally bumped into someone-
Metal rang-
Oh! His eyes widened slightly. It was the girl from earlier- with the angry attitude. But she was all dusty now. Like, really dusty. He wrinkled his nose and stepped back.
She was already glaring at him.
"Don't touch me!" she spat. Amano blinked. This again...? "I don't need this right now. I'm pissed off, okay?" Before he could come up with a reply to that, she was already storming away.
Well, that happened-
"Oh!" There was a broom closet at the end of the hall.
Amano slammed the door open to reveal...
Blankets.
He nearly fell to his knees, sobbing with relief for the mercy he'd been granted. He wouldn't have to sleep on the cold floor tonight! He wouldn't have to suffer-
He bundled up a pile and ducked out of it. The girl was gone, but she was off his mind now. He whistled a cheerful tune as he made his way down the hall, heading for their shared dorm.
Things won't be too bad here after all!
