Majikaruman

"That sounds fair. Until then..." I took some of my changes of
clothes out of my bag and carefully made a me-sized bedspot.
"This'll do."
Hisoka swallowed, looking between Majikaruman and the bed. "That
doesn't seem... fair." His fingers twitched as if he wanted to
write something down. "Are you certain that you are... willing to
sacrifice this?"

Suko looked up from where they were stuffing their face with live
crabs. Their cheeks were swelles up like chipmunks, actual tears
streaming down their face. They nodded.
Then choked.
Crabs spilled from their mouth, scuttling down, down, as they
keeled over. They spat out the last one, then gave a salute. "Fine
work....Koda." Then they resumed their apparent death.
"I don't mind, truly. I prefer the company of others to-" Hisoka
cut off suddenly. "It's fine. I do not care."

Hisoka set down his own bag, and sat on the very edge of the bed.
He kept himself tight and upright, not even glancing at
Majikaruman. "The paint is peeling," he remarked. It was, but not
badly. It didn't seem all too serious. Just a few patchy spots.
"I'm crying..." Suko sniffled. "Your loyalty... will you carry me
to bed?" They looked up at her through puppy-dog eyes. "Pleaasee?"

Hisoka cringed at the thought. "I was quite fortunate to have...
backup in those days." He frowned. "That reminds me. I haven't seen
Amano lately. Did he leave the trial room? At all?"
A bug ran over Hisoka's hand. Hisoka screeched.
Suko yawned. "G',night!" They chirped. "Sleep tight! Don't let the
sand-crabs bite!"

"Meh, I'll bite them." There was an odd scratching for a few
minutes as Koda dug out a shallow dip for her to sleep in. She
curled up, into a ball and slept.
