Hisoka blinked. All brain functions appeared in a state of reboot.
"You... like Keiki's nails. You want to have them for yourself.
That is what you mean." He stared blankly at a wall. "Are you
attracted to them or not? Er- I mean, the nails, of course.
Pronouns, you see."
The narrator was not fully convinced that Hisoma meant the nails
either, but, y'know.
"Great!" Suko clapped their hands together. "We all enjoy our new
room! Now shoo, bear creature bugaboo, before you scar me and my
lack of evolutionary understanding further."
"Puhuhu~ understood!" And he popped back into the sand again.

"The crab?" Suko peered at it. "Aww! It's kinda cute. Do you really
think you can hurt it?" It glared straight at Suko and smacked a
pincer over their nose. "OW!"
Suko staggered back, clutching their nose. "I changed my mind! It's
EVIL! CAST IT INTO THE FLAMES OF HELL! MURDER IT! DISSOLVE IT IN
ACID! IT IS AN ENEMY OF MY FUTURE EMPIRE AND YOU MUST SLAY IT!"
"I do my nails sometimes," Hisoka mentioned quietly. "Perhaps you
will find overseeing my work... interesting." He blinked behind his
bangs. Did he have contacts in? "You may grade me based on your
assessments, if you so prefer."

"A date it is then," Hisoka agreed. He looked lightly amused.
"Perhaps you can try your own nails. I suspect you will do well
with your usual slight of hand as the Ultimate Magician."
He smiled at him. "Perhaps after we settle in our room?"
I wish Suko were here to tell them that getting a room is
exactly what they need.
Suko stared at her.
"You... just ate it."

"Oh dear, oh dear, how can I break it to you? Oh, poor, poor,
Koda." They sniffled loudly. "You see... I like someone else. I
cannot return your feelings..."
In an alterative universe where I owned Femi, he bashed their head
in with a mallet.
"Excellent point." Hisoka nodded. "Very well, then. Let's go." He
strode forward, without waiting for Majikaruman.

"But never fear!" Suko raised their chin to the heavens. "I will
forever be by your side! Forever unattainable and awesome, yes, but
forever there! I will guide you through this short life we live,
and help you come to terms with the love you feel for me that will
never die!"
They offered her their hand.
"Take it, and join me as my loyalest minion."
Hisoka tried the doorknob. It didn't work. Frowning, he tugged it.
No response. He wedged his fingers in the crack and pried it
open.
It was an ordinary room.
Hisoka sighed out a breath of relief. And then caught it.
For two people.

Suko's grin practically split their face. "You are now under
contract to feed me all the crabs you catch," they informed her,
shaking her hand vigorously. "Kowai has witnessed, and you have no
escape from it."

3 crabs, unalived but not bloody, were flicked from the sand,
infront of Suko. Koda pulled herself from the sand and shook out
her mess of black, blue and sandy hair.
