Forum-Index → Roleplay → Xyeneca Hybrids~He couldn't hold it in anymore. He felt the tears well up in his eyes and he squeezed them shut, his hands going up to cover his ears against the horrifying shrieks of others who he could only assume were experiencing the same horrid feeling as him. Despite all his best efforts, he could not keep the tears from flowing from his eyes, sobs filled with pain and fear mixing with the screams and cries of all the others. He could feel nothing but pain, when suddenly something snapped in his brain and he opened his eyes, his vision still clouded with tears.
His pupils had almost filled up his eyes now, large and round, and he could suddenly see so much more of what was around him. He began to shake uncontrollably, feeling something other than the pain sprout along his body. He cried harder, not knowing what was going on. Oh, why did he have to sign up for this?? Why must this always happen to him! He let out a scream, and he surprised even himself with the sound that came out of his mouth, feeling more like a bird's cry than anything. More terrified than ever, he kept his hands pressed against his ears, trying to stop the stream of tears that flowed from his eyes as if he had held a cut onion right in front of them.
Their black eyes swivelled to the cell next to him.
They winced as they heard another bird-like shriek.
They snarled at their neighbour.
A forked tongue escaped their lips.
It tasted the air, then disappeared.
Ky shook their white hair, annoyed.
The bird-like shriek resonated in their skull.
Their ears were ringing.
"SHUT UP!"
They roared.
She knew something was wrong. She stared at the person through the darkness.
Upon instinct, she yelled. "YOU stop!" She said. Oh shoot- she said, realizing she called attention to herself. She then added on "You're just gonna make them feel worse!"
Kira had nothing else to say. She knew the person would make a remark, or even yell at her. She knew people way to well.
They didn't speak, just stared.
Their black eyes were like pits of darkness, boring holes into the stranger that just spoke.
They flashed with intimidation.
Gleamed with anger.
Shone with cruelty.
An arrogant smile played on their lips.
"And what are you trying to do, huh?" She asked, a little more confidentally. "Hypnotize me?" She almost laughed. She smiled a toothy grin, which revealed her teeth. Long and pointy. "Snake, huh." She said after a while.
Back at home...
Warm...
Yelling, screaming...
Someone asking- no, saying something to me.
A fire.
A dream.
A fantasy. Yet it had come real. What she had imagined; real. What she wished; real. The only one who was kind enough to tell her, Grandpa, was shaking her violently-
People telling Grandpa to leave her alone.
Grandpa refuses.
