DD growled under her breath. This fight was rigged against Jackie, entirely...

Marina whimpered a little at the strangeness of the situation. She had a feeling about what was really going on...

Jackie growled. This old man better not underestimate me...I'll show him!! she thought to herself. Jackie jumped in the air as she shot multiple scythes at William, rapidly. William acted quickly, and grew a black shield and defended himself. Jackie was furious.

The others frowned, or growled at the scene that took place on the screen in front of them. This wasn't a fair battle..

DD grimaced at the battle taking place. It reminded her of some of the games she'd play with victims... They needed to help Jackie somehow. If they could do something about the chains... Maybe if she...

Marina winced at the battle taking place. This was unfair, why was William like this?! She needed to help Jackie!!

Jackie tried her best to at least hit William, or even get a scar on him. Still, nothing worked..he would either dodge it with his hands, or his shield. This would be tough..

DD grimaced. What could they do?! She suddenly spoke, "Everyone think! Are there any abilities you can use to break free?"

Hearing what DD said, Marina thought for a bit. She found one skill that could work. She glanced at how she was tied down. "Yes... That can work!" She spoke up, "Does anyone have mind powers... What's the word??... Telepathy?"

DD spoke, "I still have the necklace Jackie gave me. I can use telepathy thanks to it. Why do you ask?"

Marina took an unneeded breath and said, "This is going to sound weird, but I need you to rip my torso from my tail and arms." DD's jaw dropped. "What?!"

Marina spoke, "I know it sounds crazy but it's the only thing I can come up with. I'll be fine." DD hesitated, but sighed. She had a point. "Ok, just be ready." DD said before connecting to the necklace. Eyes glowing, she 'grabbed' Marina's torso and head and ripped them from the bound arms and tail. Blue-purple blood dripped lightly from the sudden wounds and bones could be seen from where the joints were torn. For a few moments, nothing happened..... Marina suddenly spoke, "Yeah, I never get used to that feeling." Startled, DD lost her focus and let go, but Marina remained floating in the air. She spoke again, "Ok, now to find a way to free you guys..." She floated over to the TV, the only object in the room and examined it.

Marina finally noticed something shiny behind the TV. She phased through the TV and found the shiny. A key! She solidified her tongue to knock the key down from the hook. Phasing back out of the TV, she floated down and grabbed the key with her mouth before turning to the others. She floated over to them each, manipulating the key with her mouth to unlock them from their chains. Once they were all free, marina unlocked her arms and tail, which flopped to the floor. Concentrating, Marina bent the water within her own limbs to make them float and press into their places on her torso. With a bit of a spuelch~ and a couple pops, her body was once again whole. Marina had a full body shudder at the feeling.

The others nodded, and sooner or later they found an exit that led to the battlefield. The group had their powers/weapons ready, but they came across a horrible sight. Jackie was on the ground with several cuts and bruises, and William had his foot on her head, smirking.

Marina had a rare angry frown on her face. She wouldn't let William hurt her step-sister any more than he had!!

Jackie was then laughing. William raised his eyebrow. "What's so funny?!' He growled. Jackie was suddenly sobbing. "I don't get it...I don't get it!!" She yelled. William was confused. What was she talking about??? "All I wanted was to be good enough for you. I always tried to make you love me as a daughter!! But you just killed them, and you just beat me until I took my own life!! What kind of father are you to kill almost your entire family for..for MONEY?!" She yelled. William froze, and the others watched sadly.

DD did her best to express disgust on her face. That sounded very similar to how she had been before her 'awakening'...

Marina felt saddened for Jackie. Why did people like William exist?! "For what? Money? He's a king for sea's sake! Why why why?!" she thought angrily.

DD aided the others in forming a defensive wall between William and Jackie, glaring at the man.

Marina focused on Jackie herself, helping her into a sitting position and examining her wounds.
