The group made it to the end of the cave. There they were. Thousands of black, gooey eggs stacked on top of together, multiple stacks and towers of eggs. The mother lode...maybe it was cold because it was their condition..the group's eyes widened in shock.

Marina looked around curiously. What did these eggs contain???

DD hummed a little. How indeed??? Did they have any abilities that were long range?

Marina looked at the eggs. Was there any fluid in the eggs? Maybe she'd be able to help...

DD grimaced. That would be a possibility on the formation of the monsters...

Hearing this, Marina turned her full attention to the eggs nearby the bus. Focusing, she closed her eyes to try and sense the fluid within the eggs...

Jackie noticed what Marina was trying to do and smirked a little. Maybe she had a plan about the fluid in the eggs, perhaps?

Marina soon sensed what she was looking for; fluid in the eggs. Now that she could sense it, she needed to figure out what to do with it... Evaporate the fluid? No, the eggs' we're enclosed so the fluid would easily recondense. Freeze it? No, the eggs could survive this level of cold which meant the freezing temperature was extremely low as well. Heat the fluid to the point of rapid boiling to make them explode? Maybe??? She turned to the others and voiced her concerns about what to do with the eggs'fluid.

DD hummed in thought. It was possible... Had they used heat themed abilities against the monsters before?? Would this idea work???

Marina tuned the sounds out as she focused on one egg, as a test subject. She raised her hand towards it, fingers spread out. She concentrated on the fluid and it began to heat up within the egg. The fluid was getting hotter and hotter and-- the heat was so great, it was practically radiating from it to the eggs nearby. And under the watch of the others, the egg exploded, its contents steaming in a more liquidy than gooey stream, and ran down to the ground, slowly evaporating into a smaller solid sludge...

Marina smiled at the encouragement. She began to focus on more eggs at a time, increasing their internal temperatures to make them explode.

DD grimaced at the explosions but helped cheer on Marina.

The group was half disgusted, but half happy. One half being the nastiness of the eggs blowing up-- the other half being that they could finally defeat these monsters, and finish off this project once and for all!!

Marina continued to cause egg-splosions throughout the cave. The eggs were being destroyed at a fast pace. The number of eggs was dwindling quickly...

DD watched as the eggs dwindled in number...
