"Jackie..?' Veronica said. Jackie didn't answer. Veronica frowned and sat by her.

Marina hoped her step-sister and Veronica would be alright...
Jackie and Veronica had encountered a monster. Jackie was hit by a weird goo from the monster, causing her to be frozen in place. Veronica was tackled my the monster. Jackie couldn't do anything but watch. "VERONICA!!" Jackie yelled.

Marina's head whipped up. The others!!! Quickly, she phased into the ground and was able to travel to where Jackie and Veronica were.

Marina flew from the ground and latched onto the back of the monster, causing it to try to move to get her off. But thanks to the grass Skylar had manipulated, it tripped and fell. She took the opportunity to summon her trident and stab it through the back of its head, all the way to the ground its face laid upon.
Marina pulled her trident from the monster's head. She flicked it towards the ground, whipping off the monster's blood from her weapon before putting it away. She floated over to where Jackie was pinned down. Using a stick, she poked at the goo, scrunching her nose at the slight resistance and bounce of the substance. "I may be able to get it off..." she muttered, mostly to herself. If it was liquid based she may be able to manipulate it, even just a little...
Marina flushed a little. Nodding, she concentrated and raised her arms up. She was thankful when the goo immediately began to flow upwards as well. She lifted the goo up and away from Jackie's body, forming it into a sphere before placing it on the ground away from the group. She gave an unnecessary exhale, tail slightly limp. She floated over to Jackie and helped her up.
Marina wriggled worriedly, a little shaken because of the killing, but such was war, which she understood well...
Marina started to go invisible. That red beam...
Marina whimpered a little, phasing out nearly completely, leaving her some of her face visible. "Not good..." she muttered. "Not good at all..."
Marina vanished from sight completely.
