DD watched as the siblings were unable to stop the dragon monster. What could they do?!?!
Marina watched with worry. Her step-siblings weren't able to stop the monster this way... In a moment of childish joy, Marina suddenly said, "I'm gonna ride it!!" and before anyone could stop her, she had vanished and reappeared on the back of the dragon, squealing happily.

DD's jaw dropped. Was Marina insane?! What did she think she was doing?!
Marina was having the time of her life! She held onto the dragon as it shook itself to get her off of its back. She cheered wildly in delight. She heard her step-siblings and waved at them, which caused her to be going into the air on an especially rapid shake from the dragon. Marina did several backward somersaults in the air before righting herself. She giggled before vanishing and reappearing next to Aaron on the top of the bus. "So," she said, gazing at the still-in-pursuit dragon. "any ideas on how to stop this thing?"

Jackie sighed, and jumped on top of the bus. She summoned two large glowing chains that came from the ground as she wrapped them around the dragon's wings. She then commanded her servant to stop the bus, as they did so. Jackie jumped off of the bus, as she walked to the dragon. It growled at her. The others just watched..

DD's stomach twisted. She had forgotten that these monsters were once Queens or people just like them...
Marina winced, saddened by the monster's obvious distress. It still retained memories of being human... Why though? Why did the corruption allow memories to be retained? Was this the true terror of the corruption? Memories of normality lost because of a changed body? She winced. Yes... William would allow such things to happen...

Dd felt a twinge of sorrow for this Skylar girl. She just wanted to see her mother again... She understood the feeling...
Marina felt sadness for Skylar. That was how Uncle William was doing this. Promises of seeing loved ones who had passed on or promises of protection of loved ones... But why?! What did he gain from their misery?!
