Coach V then appeared in front of the Queens. "Today you will be showing off your powers. First we'll start with Jackie Ness. Ness, get down here." Coach V said. Jackie nodded and went down the bleachers. The Queens waited for Jackie do do something.

Dd immediately felt sick. Displaying their powers? She had no powers!! What could she even do?! She forced herself to watch Jackie and see what she could do...

Jackie turned into her Queen form. Jackie then bent down on the ground and touched the ground, and a dark light flew around her. The Queens, including Coach V, watched in awe.

Dd could feel her stirring from deep within in. Watching Jackie perform such amazing acts... It hurt... It hurt her heart a lot... Her head began to tilt downward as she started to struggle to breathe normally. She was coming to the surface... This wasn't good...

Jackie's eyes then glew a bright red, as the ground started to shake a bit. Then, black spikes bursted from the ground around Jackie. The Queens' eyes widened, and Coach V chuckled a bit.

DD could feel her eye start to twitch. This feeling... She wanted out. NOW! DD tried to force her back, to suppress her, but couldn't?! This feeling, this desire, was stronger than normal. Watching Jackie didn't help at all. She quickly and quietly fled from the benches into the locker room. Finding a mirror, she glared into it, waiting. Sure enough, she appeared.

Veronica watched as DD left. What had happened? Veronica also left, and went to the girls locker room and checked on DD. "DD? Are you alright?" She said.

DD didn't see nor hear Veronica, as she was staring into the mirror with a furious expression. "I told you; no!" she shouted at the reflection. Unbeknownst to Veronica, there was someone else in the mirror that DD saw. She simply smirked. "My dear, Darling. You honestly CARE for that girl? She has powers WE should wield. Why can't you just accept that and..." DD snarled out, "And why can't you accept that I want nothing to do with that stuff anymore?!" Her smirk only grew and she laughed, making the mirror to ripple as if it was a pool of water.

DD felt her blood boil at how she reacted. How dare she?! "And just WHAT is so funny to you?!" She yelled at the mirror. She laughed once more. "My dear Darling, you are so naive. Do you honestly think she's your friend? A queen such as yourself has no need for friends, only loyal servants. Why bother trying to get something you don't even need?" DD paused at those words, bowing her head. She felt tears begin to sting her eyes. Why was she trying? "Because..." She began, lifting her head back up to look dead into her eyes. "It's the only thing I can't get by being a monster." she finished, waiting with baited breath.

She was silent for a few moments, when suddenly she began to laugh. A laugh that could scare off the most insane of people. The laughing caused the mirror to shake. Enraged DD finally yelled out, "Stop it!" This did nothing. DD finally had enough and slammed her hand into the mirror, causing it to shatter from the force of it. Even with her visibly gone, DD could still hear her laughter as it slowly faded. Blood dripped from her hand from the shards of reflective glass, but she paid it no mind. DD stood there, panting, staring at what was left of the mirror with hateful eyes.

Veronica then finally made herself visible to DD. She slowly approached her, putting a hand on her shoulder. "DD...what just happened? Are you ok?? Who was that in the mirror?!" She said, wanting so many answers.

DD suddenly snapped around. Who?!... Oh it was Veronica... She took a shaky breath and gazed at Veronica. She repeated a mantra to herself, "It's ok, I'm in control. It's ok, I'm in control..." She exhaled before speaking to Veronica. "How much did you see...or hear?"

"All of it." She said sadly. Veronica then looked at DD's bloody hand. "Oh dear.." she said. Veronica grabbed DD's hand as it glew a light purple, and her hand healed. Veronica then frowned. "Tell me when you're ready to go back to the bleachers, we don't want to miss our tryouts.." she said, and left the locker room.

DD could feel her stir a little at Veronica's show of power. She pushed it down weakly. When she was sure Veronica was out of hearing distance, she fell to her knees, body slumping as tears began to fall down her face. How would she keep this up? She needed to find a way... She decided to stay there until next period of class. She didn't want anyone to see her like this and she didn't want to reveal her patheticness. She wished, dearly, that she had some sort of actual ability to display, but knew better. She was a queen in name alone... No one could convince her of otherwise. Not her servants not any of the other queens, not a soul...

After all the Queens had showed off their powers, it was DD's turn, bit she wasn't there. Coach V raised an eyebrow. "Ness, where is DD? Wasn't she sitting next to you in the beginning of class?" She said. Jackie nodded, and scratched her head. "She was, but I don't know where she went.." Veronica stayed silent. Coach V sighed. "Find her, Ness. It's her turn anyways." Jackie nodded, and went to the locker room first. "DD?" She called out.

DD froze. This wasn't good. She quickly wiped her face clean of tears and composed herself. Seemed she had no choice. She called out, "In here." from her position, sitting up with shards of mirror around her. She gazed at the empty space that once held the mirror.

DD winced but kept her composure. "I'm alright... I just...had some issues to sort out." She sighed. "I'm guessing it's my turn?"
