"Thanks Bulbs" Said Pete to his Bulbasaur petting him in the head.
"You're great" Pete smiled.
Pete turned to Marcus, now returning with his Charmander pokéball
in his hand, and said "It wasn't a easy battle I'll give you that!
Bulbs return" Pete's Bulbasaur returned to his own pokéball. "Hope
everything's good with your Charmander, Marcus!"
Marcus nodded and smiled. "Yeah, thanks. It was a good battle, I
can tell you two are good friends." he said.
"Should we continue to Criton City?" he asked. Oddish watched the
two trainers converse from a distance. (Feel free to have Pete
catch Oddish or any wild Pokemon they meet c: )
Marcus tucked Charmander's pokeball away. He was sure Charmander
would be fine after some rest, but Marcus still wanted to have him
checked at a Pokemon Center.

"Yeah we are. And you and your Charmander put up a good fight! Not
bad for someone who started now, I must say" Pete said to Marcus
"But yeah let's go to Criton City. There's the Oddish your
Chamander fell into, don't you wanna catch it? It would be good for
your team!"
Pete looked at his Bulbasaur's pokéball. He needs to take him to a
Pokémon Center.
Marcus looked at the Oddish. "Do you want to come with me and
Charmander?" he asked.
"Oddish!" said the pokemon, jumping up and down with a smile.
Marcus smiled back and threw one of his empty pokeballs. It hit
Oddish and enveloped it in a red light. The ball hit the ground and
wobbled a bit before dinging to signal a successful capture. Marcus
picked up the pokeball.
"Welcome to the group Oddish." he said before putting it on his
belt with his other pokeballs. He smiled at Pete.
"Okay, let's go." Marcus started heading towards the city, humming
happily.

"Congrats on the Oddish Marcus!" Said Pete smiling at Marcus. He
felt proud and he didn't really understood this feeling. It was
weird for him. The only other person Pete felt proud was his
brother.
"Yeah let's go! It's time to hit the city!!" Said Pete all pumped
out but still thinking deeply.
As they walked,Marcus reailized he knew nothing about Pete aside
from what he learned during their battle.
"You and your Bulbasaur seem close. Have you been together long?"
he asked. Marcus had on;y been with Charmander since the start of
his journey not too long ago. Unseen Pokemon called to eachother
and went about their live as the two trekked onward.

"Yeah me and Bulbs know each other since waaaay back, don't we
Bulbs" Pete said turning to his loving Bulbasaur.
"Bulba Bulba" Confirmed Bulbasaur smiling.
"My dad gave him to me when I was about 10 years old. But we just
started our journey recently. There was some problems that made me
not able to go on this adventure when I was ten. But that's another
story! And you and your Charmander?
Uh... if this is a story, can I be another good guy, or is that
spot already filled?
P.S. I just thought about this, but I guess that 'open and
accepting' means that I can join, right? Ok, assuming I can, (if
not, feel free to tell me not to continue this... I don't know if
you're using your real names, but I'm not going to even use a human
one.) I'm probably using evee as a starter...
"We just started our journey together," replied Marcus, "but I
think we have a good connection." Marcus was curious about what had
delayed Pete's journey, but decided not to pry. They had just met
and Marcus would let Pete decide if and when to tell that
story.
(OOC: Viper, welcome and yes you can be a good guy if you choose.
Eevee can be your starter if that's what you want. Feel free to
jump in whenever you want. :) )

"I'd like to challenge gyms," said Marcus, "but I think I should
get more Pokemon and experience first. What about you?" As he spoke
they came across a flock of Pidgey in their path.

"That's good and right! Honestly I don't know. I don't know yet
what I'm going to do. For now I'm just going to travel and meet
people and new pokémons!" The flock of Pidgey chirped loudly, there
was something in the middle of the flock and it shone brightly. The
Pidgey were all around it. When Pete and Marcus came around it the
Pidgey started to look at them and at the shiny thing in the
middle. They're a little defensive of the shiny object. Pete was a
little curious to know what that was so he started moving forward
when three Pidgey got in his way. He knew he better be careful or
he'd be sorry. Bulbs didn't like the Pidgey's attitude towards his
trainer so he moved forward to remind the Pidgey who he was; The
great Bulbasaur there is!
"Bulba Bulb!"
"Bulbs no, stay were you are. Let's reason with them. They're
trying to protect that stuff." Pete turned to Marcus at this point
"What do you think it is?"
Marcus shook his head. "I don't know, but they really seem to like
it." He walked slowly towards the Pidgey.
"Hey there, can we see what you have? We won't touch it." Marcus
tried to be as non-threatening as possible. However, one of the
Pigeys used gust on him and another pecked him on the hand.
"Ow." said Marcus as he fell on his behind. The Pidgeys chirped
angrily at him.
(Rayquaza, Pepas is right. You can be any Pokemon you'd like, when
you've decided feel free to jump in. c: )

"Look out Marcus, don't get hurt! There are to many of them, we
better leave them alone." Pete said but still very curious to see
what was the shiny object hidden by the Pidgey. 'We can't attack
them because we are outnumbered and there may be some Pidgeotto or
Pidgeot around here so we have to be careful'
"Maybe we can hide from them what wait and see what they're going
to do with that. What do you think Marcus? Or do you want to
continue down the road?" Asked Pete turning to Marcus.
Marcus got up and dusted himself off. Pete made some good
points.
"I guess we can hide and try to see what they're going to do."
replied Marcus. He was also a bit curious as to what would cause
Pidgey to behave like this. He also doubted that they could
continue without taking a detour around the Pidgey.

Viper Everfree was a young girl who just turned the right age to
get her Pokémon from Professor Pine. It had been a week since then,
when Viper had gotten an Evee to be her starter Pokémon. It had
gone great. By the third day, she had captured her first Pokémon, a
Doduo. It had been a relatively easy fight. Which might have been
because that Evee kept using tackle randomly to trees surrounding
them.
"Evee, I choose you!" Viper yelled as she threw the Pokéball
containing Evee, who, sensing the need for tackle, promptly exited
the Pokéball.
"Evee, use tackle before it escapes!" Viper cried, urging her
Pokémon on.
After a long time hiding to check what the pidgeys were hiding,
Pete was starting to get bored of the waiting. He was becoming
restless and could no longer wait more. Suddenly a Eevee was
charging against the pidgeys.
"Where did that Eevee come from?" Asked Pete turning to Marcus
Viper looked on as Evee charged at the pidgeys instead of a duodo.
Wait, when did they become so numerous?
"Evee, get back here! Dont-" Viper began to say, when the pidgeys
all noticed evee.
"Oh no..."
"Evee, retreat!" Viper said, noticing two other trainers in the
scene, who were probably too surprised to do anything remotely
useful.
