The Demon Realm is in havoc (far more
than usual). Many of the people are revolting against the Emperor's
Coven, and- consequentially- being jailed or killed. It's not
stopping the rebellion, however... many, young and old, are left
conflicted, as to which side they should be on. To help with the
resistance and put your life at risk, or to swallow your pride and
stay alive? That is the question. However, even with all this chaos
going on, the Demon Realm's schools are still teaching many young
witches to do magic every single day. The question is... is it
better for the Emperor's Coven to perhaps go too easy-going on the
rules they've upheld for so long, or for the people to lose all of
their freedoms?

Roleplay Rules:
1. All PH rules apply.
2. Try not to make your characters
overpowered.
3. Ask permission to kill when it comes to other
people's characters.
4. Try to give everyone an equal amount of opportunity
in actions. For instance, in a fight, you should probably make your
character try to do something, and give the other a chance to
react.
5. Be kind and fair to everyone.
6. Try to be realistic when the situation requires
it!
7. And most of all, just have fun, and ask questions
when you need to! I'll try my best to answer.

Nicknames: Toshi. Crow.

Romantic Orientation: Biromantic, interested in non-binary people and women, but dislikes labels.
Sexual Orientation: Sexuality matches romantic orientation.
Personality: Playful, mischievous girl with a jovial attitude. She's always making jokes and playing pranks. She has a tendency to be a little cruel at times, and her selfish, lackadasical attitude can drive some away. Despite this, she isn't a terrible person. She'll give some newbies some help (after a few pranks of course) and she'll never hurt a person who needs support from her. She's not a monster, just a prankster.
Appearance: Short-statured, pale girl with gangly limbs and a rather impish face. Her eyes are dark, dark brown and appear almost black. Her hair is dyed blue and is rather long and shaggy.
Coven: Oracle
Backstory: Toshiko was born to a member of the Emperors' Coven who gave her up for adoption shortly after she was born, since she wasn't prepared to raise the child. Toshiko was placed in the Foster system and tended to get disattached to people from the constant switching. She recently enrolled in Hexside and is training in the Oracle coven.

Personality:
May Lakes, or Maylee, is a good-intentioned, gentle person, but rather awkward, lazy, and extremely anxious. An odd combination. She wants to be the best witch she can possibly be, however, she's extremely lazy and doesn't believe she has what it takes. She's also extremely insecure, one to overthink almost anything. Maylee has an awful habit of procrastinating, winning her the unpopular nickname of "Lazy Mayzee" (her friends tend to call her Maylee). She is awkward in the ways that she is rather clumsy, and this does not pair well with being in the Potions Coven! Additionally, she is also socially awkward and quite lacking in self-confidence, having many great ideas but never the guts to say them out loud. Her grades could be excellent, but they are quite lacking due to her clumsiness and laziness. She's very good-intentioned and gentle in the affairs of others and tries her best to not hurt anyone's feelings. Despite her laziness, Maylee would do anything for someone she cared very much about, and this is one of the few times where she can really dedicate herself to a task (and not procrastinate all her assignments to the very last millisecond).
Appearance:
Maylee, despite her laziness, is quite underweight because she considers eating to be a waste of time. She stands at 5'3", and only 87 lbs. She has a tendency to fall asleep (or faint) in class due to her lack of energy levels. When she is anxious, she tends to eat even LESS because she finds eating to cause her tendencies to become even worse. She has long, light-pink hair, falling down to about halfway down her back in the back. She has light-purple eyes, and extremely pale skin. She wears braces, but they're barely visible because she tends to keep her mouth closed most of the time. She has large bangs, side-swept to the right side. She has two extremely long strands of hair that reach down to her shoulders in the front. She also wears medium oval-shaped glasses. Coven: She's in the Potions Coven (unfortunately. I feel bad for the people in the class.)
Backstory: Maylee has been shaped quite drastically from her childhood. Her parents always tended to do everything for her (be it her homework, or magic, or chores, or anything else). Unfortunately, after several years of this, they stopped doing this for her without giving her time to adjust. Now, Maylee, a very lazy but well-intentioned teenager is struggling to get by in Hexside's School of Magic and Demonics. She never asked her parents for help, although they offered it, because she feels deeply ashamed of the fact they always used to do everything for her. She is an only child. In life, she constantly feels like there's always something to prove-- if only she doesn't mess it up.

Oh boy. Clarke Connor is a jerky, funny, and very charismatic individual. He's something of a class clown and a troublemaker, constantly getting himself sent to the Detention Track. It's a mystery how he's still in Hexside (although, it's believed most of the time he finds a way not to get caught for most of his pranks). Clarke is extremely selfish and childish (hopefully he'll grow out of it someday), and his idea of humor is at the expense of others. He's all about himself, although it's believed that there was once this person he considered a friend, who he cared about very much... In any case, for now, he's an absolute menace. He was so out of control at Glandys that he got expelled from there initially and moved to Hexside. It's also believed he might be allowed to stay simply because he always manages to get high grades... he never seems to be paying attention, though! How is this possible? Is he cheating?
Appearance:
Clarke Connor is 5'4 and quite overweight, although some of it is the muscle (how does he exercise it, though?). He has vampire-like fangs that are always quite evident in his smirks. Whatever he's thinking, just hope it's not about you. He has blue skin, bright green eyes, and purple hair. His hair is of medium length, and the bangs curl upward in all directions. Personality: While it would be incorrect to say Neverin doesn't care for most things, the accusation isn't entirely unfounded. The bipedal demon prefers to take the easier way out, often avoiding challenges where he can. He's very laid back, not often one for feeling stressed out. He has a very pleasant attitude and won't often disagree as he isn't very confrontational. Neverin can be intelligent when he wishes to be, and actually has a decent memory.
Appearance: Neverin has fountain spout blue skin and bat-like ears. His eyes are a soft gold which are usually half-lidded in his carefree state.
Coven: Emperor's Coven
Backstory: Neverin had an easier time during his schooling due to his ability to quickly remember knowledge. Seeing this, his parents got rather excited and made certain he learned as much as he could while he was still able to, and soon after his graduation from Hexside he was recruited into the Emperor's Coven. He doesn't really care too much for his position in the coven, as he's really only in it to keep his parents happy, and it's easier than finding some other plan for the future.

Personality: Kaya is a bit of a while card, which their few friends can attest to. Their playful, hyperactive personality tends to drive people away and put others on edge. A bit of a flirt, but with a low attention span and more self-centered attitude that seems to drive their attention away from other people once they get to know them. Some might call them selfish, but... they really just want to have fun. Doesn't everyone?
Appearance: Kaya stands at about 5'8 , their skintone being fairly pale with warm undertones.They have a few freckels on their face. They have short bright red hair ,inherited from her mother, with bangs, usually being parted in the middle. Her eyes have an amber color

Backstory: Growing up, Kaya was raised by a very strict mom with very high expectations. When their mom passed away at the age of 10 her father had to take her in. At first Kaya hoped that her dad wouldn't be as strict as her mother was but she was wrong, him being way worst than her mother and now having to reach way higher expectations set by a man who wasn't, and still isn't, a big part of her life . Now they resent their father and ,when they needed to choose a coven , instead of choosing Abominations or Illusions as their father wanted, they choose the bard coven.

It was full of gaming pop culture references, and to her it seemed that a healer was the most important role in the party. She's kind of a nerd, easily excitable about things from the human realm, especially their entertainment. She isn't the most gentle healer and is easily irritated. She enjoys taking command of a situation and leads with confidence and an adventurous spirit.

Personality: Intelligent minor sociopath (Not extreme, but doesn't uderstand the concept of what is socially acceptable to say and when) with very little social confidence and she lacks care for the emotions of herself or others, despite having no malicious intent.
Appearance: Crimson hair with a silky texture often hidden by a hood, blue eyes, constant dark circles under eyes, black hoodie, green tee, black jeans, black fitness shoes, gemstone necklace, 4 metal armbands with matching gemstones to the necklace
Coven: None
Backstory: When she was 7, her parents died. She was put in the foster system but tragedy seemed to follow her everywhere. Every foster parent either died or were horrible, causing her to run away before being caught and put back into the foster system. One day, she was put into the house of a horribly strict yet neglectful couple who she has failed to run from. As a result, she became detached from her emotions and just focused on good grades. She has yet to care about humans and their emotions due to how everyone around her became, dead or horrible.

Personality: Brooksook is a hot-headed, fiery individual who never backs down from a fight. Offend her, and she'll lunge at you and won't relent until you're down, or she's heading off to the hospital. She takes particular offense to having her "weak" bard being mentioned. And her size. And differing music tastes. And liking anything but dark chocolate. And... everything. There's too many things on the list. But, deep down, this isn't truly Brooksook. At her heart of hearts... she fights about things simply for the sake that she should. She has established this fiery side as who she is, as a person no one can talk to. And over the years, she has gotten unbelievably lonely. Her "personality" was based off of a character from a book whom she had loved and admired the ferocity of. As she grew older, this persona of a fierce, determined girl remained impressioned on people. If she failed to impress it, then they began doubting her, doubting the person she was. This corner has caused her to lash out even harder and cement her identity into people. Overall, her existence is quite miserable... Will it ever change? Can it?
Appearance: Short-statured, very small in size. Looks like a child, with twin braids of twisted brown hair dangling behind her head, and wide, dark brown eyes. She typically wears loose hoodies and shorts, an unusual combination, and will on occasion wear hooped earrings and bangles. Her skin is very light brown with cool undertones.
Coven: Bard.

Personality: Deena Rawsford, or Dean, for someone so rebellious, is a fraidy-cat. They talk a big game, but the moment there's a sign of the Emperor's Coven showing up, they turn tail and flee. Perhaps that's how Deena has evaded them for so long. They were once offered a position as a Coven Head, but they fled upon realizing this would mean being confined to one Coven. Deena does not fight for the freedom of others against the Emperor's Coven, but only for themselves. They want money and power -- and also to flee from anything remotely dangerous.
Appearance: Deena Rawsford has pale tan skin (so not exactly a tan, but almost, and it's not pale either), light-blue hair that they put in countless flowing braids, and they typically wear all black, and a black hood overtop. (This is simply because they want to not be seen very well at night.) They have brown eyes, and two pointy ears typical of witches with the sharp ends cut off. How did this happen, exactly? Who knows. Their eyes are wide and often startled like a deer's. Oftentimes they bear a fake tough expression on their face, although they're constantly fearful of the Emperor's Coven. They are of a considerably tall height, unfortunately, which makes for difficulty with hiding from the Emperor's Coven. They have freckles and dimples dotting their entire face, and a dark-blue snake palisman staff.

Backstory: Deena was born into a normal life, well, er, mostly. Their mom and dad died when they were six years old, and they were adopted by their two moms, one of which was a very kind and lenient person, and the other was cruel, rude, and strict. Due to this, Deena was in a constant state of confusion about the right way to act. Their new adopted parents argued so very often, and this could be hard to hear. However, when Deena did everything right at home, they would get praised heavily (more so by their kinder mother). They decided they liked this kind of praise, so they always tried to earn it from both of them. But none of it ever seemed like enough... Their parents, one day, told Deena they'd send them to school. Deena agreed to go, only to find out you had to be in one Coven. ONE COVEN! Now, Deena didn't want that. And so, rashly, at the age of twelve, Deena ran away from home. Spoiler alert: their parents never found them. While practicing magic out in the forest, a high-ranking member of the Emperor's Coven was so impressed that he offered Deena a position in the Coven. At first, they agreed, until they realized they were being chosen to be a Coven Head. Deena wanted to be good at all kinds of magic, not just one! So they ran away again. Deena, at the age of twelve, had thrown away a family, a good magical education, and a promising career. They began to feel rather defeated. Why did they have to choose one Coven?! The idea of being restricted to just one kind of magic terrified them... Eventually, Deena began to grow hungry, of course. Thirsty too. So began a life of crime for the young witchlet. It was just one little thing... a griffin's egg, a potion, some water, here and there, there and here- but it kept getting bigger and bigger. Being that Deena wasn't in a Coven, and people sometimes spotted them in the act during criminal activities, they began getting their face slapped onto a lot of wanted posters. Somehow, they always eluded capture, even into their teens, and into their young adulthood. They were used to this kind of thing by now. At first, stealing and lying had felt wrong to them. But now, it was just natural. Perhaps it was that Deena was so powerful that allowed them to get away, or maybe it was how fearful they were, turning at the first sign of trouble. But really, how hadn't they gotten caught yet?
