Okay, you know how when you fail to block, it damages by about 8 HP. What I'm suggesting is that the HP would lose the same amount of health as if it was a regular attack.

The other one means that the chance of failing is increased in the one it means the damage of fail is increased

Well, no matter if this is different or not, it is not going to be implemented in this way. The damage is lower when the blocking fails; and this is done on purpose and will not be changed.
With the upcoming patch, though, the annoying multi-blocking of some trainers will be prevented.
