Adrik sat up in his bed-

Then his entire face blanched.

He slumped back onto the pillow.



Priya was already outside, sipping coffee. She gazed off into the distance. I have to fulfill my task... Today. Or die.



"Today the game begins." Isla's fingers grated along the rail as she stepped down each step. "For real. Stacy." Her eyes narrowed. "I'm going to chase you down... No matter where you're hiding, or who you hide behind."



Seara died because I forgot their task-



"Genya!" Alexander cried out as he jerked awake. He glanced wildly about himself- then blinked. "Genya?" He asked slowly. "Or.. Are you there?"

Genya woke with a start.

"W-what?

Aleko, are you okay?"

She asked, panicked.

All night, she was debating on her tasks.

Should she get Aleko's memory back?

Or should she confess her love to him?

Genya sighed.

The second one, even though it was the easiest...wouldn't do.

"I want the old Aleko back."

She whispered to herself.

"Genya." He repeated. "That name..." He frowned, closing his eyes... The blankets scrunched about his hands as he dug them deep... then he sighed, releasing his grip and slumped back.

Seara stirred. And blinked. "Oh- Well- I-" They noticed her. "Grimm!" They sat up in their bed, then promptly cringed back down. "Owww- my chest hurts-" They rubbed it with a frown. "What's wrong?" they asked. Their eyes widened. "Is it your promise?"
