You've been sent down underground, amongst the bats and the rocks, down into the deep, the deep dark caves. You don't know why you are here, or who sent you here. You only have one thought in your mind. You need to escape. Your character wakes up, a torch in one hand, and a rucksack in the other, full of provisions. People all around seem different to you, like they wouldn't belong in your world. But, they aren't in your world. Mud splatters on your shoes as you stumble in almost darkness. Finally, you arrive to a small area with a large unlit campfire and areas where you could set up a tent. You rummage in your backpack and pull out a small green tent, perfect. Now to set camp up.....

Darling Desire(I'll call her DD to save time) grimaced at her current condition. What she wouldn't give to be at her mansion, or at the very least, in her childhood home... She did miss... DD shook her head, shoving the thought away. Now was not the time. She dug a hand into one of her pockets, pulling out three castle pieces. She threw them in front of her, calling out "Serve your queen!" The pieces immediately morphed into Footmen, uniforms clean, ready to serve. They bowed to her, saying "Yes, my queen?" Straightening herself up, she spoke with a clear voice. "We will be camping here. Set everything up." "Yes, my queen!" The three said at once, and immediately began to prepare the camp, setting up the green tent and organizing the provisions. DD chose to look around and observe the others in the area, some of which were glancing at her and her servants.

Fog woke up suddenly, his eyes flew open, scanning the room with icy-blue gaze. He was in an unfamiliar location, it seemed to be somewhere underground. Fog groaned, of all the places to be taken to, why does nobody ever pick a good lake? He looked around nervously and saw people were setting up camp in the distance. Walking there, he saw strange people that he wouldn't see on his own planet. Pulling out a tent from his backpack, he began to set it up, dreading the night to come. The air was cold and sent chills down Fog's neck but he didn't mind, it reminded him of home. Oh how he missed his home planet now, with its freezing temperatures, soft, powdery snow and its brilliant lakes. Fog looked around him, nothing but dirt and rock. Not even a drop of water in sight. He heaved a heavy sigh as he clambered into his newly-made tent and sat with his head poking out, watching the other people. He saw giant chess pieces moving around, helping a young woman who seemed to be some sort of royalty. But boy did she look strict, he didn't want to get on the wrong side of her.

Timeskip: A few hours later, when everything is set up and all the campers are eating their dinner around the fire, a simple ham and cheese sandwich. The campfire is crackling, warming you up, but a sense of uneasiness comes over you, like something bad is going to happen.

Darling Desire had a slight sneer as she ate the meager meal. It was filling, but she wasn't a fan of ham to begin with. It also didn't help that she had a horrible sense of foreboding in the pit of her stomach. "Perhaps something will happen? What could happen in a place like this?" She grimaced, finishing her meal and delicately wiping her mouth on a cloth one of her servants offered to her. She glanced at the other...being...that sat at the campfire. Part of her wanted nothing to do with this...thing that didn't look human, but at the same time, her curiosity wanted to know more about them. DD sighed before addressing the aquatic-looking creature. "Pardon my intrusion, but who and what exactly are you?"

Fog was taken aback, "M-me?" he stammered, he didn't expect to be talked to by such a strict-looking person like her. His white gills tensed slightly. "My name is Fog, Fog Karaudo," he said, with less nerves. His silver tail swayed slightly. "Who are you?" he asked with some curiosity. Fog picked up his sandwich and continued to eat it, a blissful smile on his face.

Nodding at his answer, though noticing he missed part of her question, she said "I am DD, my full name is irrelevant in this realm." Noticing his tense stance, she gave a girly smile. "Don't worry, I won't kill you. I have standards, and you intrigue me enough." "Great way to calm someone down." she thought sarcastically. She probably just ruined any chance of learning more about...Fog Karaudo.

Fog smiled nervously, and then a thought struck him. "Oh! I didn't answer your question fully, my apologies. I am an albino Karaudospiritto/Axolotl species. I got my humanoid form when exposed to these chemicals and as a bonus it gave me powers. Powers, I'll demonstrate when in desperate need." Wind blew past his brown hair, making it stand up all spiky. He raised is eyebrows, "How about you? The mysterious DD, what's your story? What are these chess pieces, eh?"

"Thank goodness I didn't scare him away. And that explains his appearance." "Apology accepted," Casting a glance at her footmen behind her, she spoke again. "These are my servants. They follow my every command. They are bound to me and me alone. I made a deal with someone who is," giggle "no longer around and gained power from it. I have many more than just these three, of course." Loosing her smile, she looked at Fog with a serious expression. "Pardon the suddenness, but do you have any idea why we are here?"

Fog looked around, "I have no idea," he said sadly. "But it seems like-"

A loud rumbling cut him off, the floor shook violently. Campers stood up suddenly in fear. A loud voice suddenly boomed across the room, but no one knew where the source of the voice was.

"Welcome," it began, "to what many of you will suffer as your demise. Your task is simple, get out. I don't care how, just get out of this cave." it paused for a moment. "Many of you will think this is easy, some of you might have special powers that will come in handy. But no, as a little precaution, I've set up some traps around the caves. And, if you are not careful, the traps may, he slid a finger across his throat. You understand? Good. Your life depends on it. Good luck."

DD felt a terror that she hadn't felt since she became who she was go through her body. "Is this just a death trap? Where no matter what happens, someone if not all of us will die?! This can't be..." It almost felt like karma had finally caught up to her. But she was determined to not die, or let her... companion... die either.

Fog looked at DD in terror. "W-what's going on? Oh no, are we going to die?" he said, trembling. The area he was sitting on suddenly turned into ice. His finger tips turned icy and a small, pale blue gem hanging from a chain around his neck suddenly turned white. Fog took no notice of this. He frowned suddenly, "How are we going to get out of here?" he asked DD. "The torches we have are rubbish and I don't know about you, but I can't summon light to see." he paused. "Could your servants help you get out?" Fog asked.

DD, noticing the ice forming around Fog, spoke to him in what she hoped was a calming voice. "Yes, my servants may be able to help US get out of here. But we'll still need to be careful. Whoever is in control most likely knows about them, so we can't rely on them completely." She carefully placed a hand on his shoulder, ignoring how cold he currently was. "We must get out of here. Right now, I need you to remain calm. Panicking won't help us get out of here," she said with a rare, gentle smile. "Take a few deep breaths, and balance your current emotions."

Fog looked at her with ice-blue eyes and smiled. The ice slowly receded and his body temperature slowly raised. He closed his eyes and took a couple of deep breaths to calm himself. Fatigue overcame him when he opened his eyes again. Fog yawned, "How about we call this a day?" he muttered sleepily, "Goodnight DD...sleep well," he yawned again and went inside his tent. Zipping it up, he lay inside it and fell asleep almost instantly, and soon the rest of the campers were asleep as well.

Time skip: You wake up, it's morning.

You come out of your tent and much to your surprise, there are deep slashes in the ground and ripped tents around the campsite. Some people are missing and patches of blood litter the ground, along with a lot of debris.

DD looked around the campsite with distaste. Such a waste of playmates and supplies. She noticed that, oddly enough, her and Fog's tent was fine, with maybe a single rip or a splash of blood. "What happened? How did this happen?" she thought aloud, glancing at everything, trying to piece together what could have done this. "Fog couldn't have done this, and I never made any orders to kill... Which begs the question, what or who did?"

Fog heaved a large sigh as he woke up. He opened the tent and rubbed his eyes, but the state of the campsite left him shocked. "Wha-....how?" he whispered. He looked at DD, upset. "What is going on....?" he asked. Fog stared at a patch of blood, distraught. His skin suddenly shimmered and the air around him suddenly lowered a few degrees. He walked away to a large boulder and sat on it, his heart racing. Snow fell around him, but he ignored it. He didn't know what to do, he was terrified.

Seeing Fog's distress stirred something inside of Darling Desire. With a steely expression, she recalled her footmen to their original forms and dug through her pockets, pulling out six knight pieces; three black, two white, and one glass. Throwing them in front of her she called out "Serve your queen!" causing them to transform into armored men. They bowed to her. "How may we serve you, my queen?" one spoke. Pointing at the black and glass ones, she commanded, "You four are to scout the area, looking for traps, creatures, and possible exits. Report back to me every half hour." The four stood and began their orders. Facing the two white knights, she commanded, "You two are to stay by me and Fog, AKA that boy over on the rock," pointing to the slowly snow covered rock Fog was sitting on. "We don't know what happened here, but whatever did this may still be here. Protect us with your lives!" "Yes, my queen!" The two knights stood, one of them marching to and standing by Fog, the other staying next to DD. Glancing at Fog, she winced a little. She wasn't sure how to help, but at least he would be safe for now...

Fog saw a Knight walk up to him. The Knight stood near him, rooted to the spot. Fog smiled a little as he glanced at DD for a moment. He finally noticed the snow falling around him and laughed. Icy mist started to swirl around him and his body began to change shape. Realising this, he quickly wrapped his hand around a crystal hanging from his chain and he stopped. He breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank goodness," he said. "No one can see my transformation,".
