In this game Ditto is 3.5-4.5 million PD. You can also buy Ditto for 10k normal gems from gem collector. But 10k normal gems are approximately 15 million PD. So where is the logic for buying Ditto from gem collector?

It's the price of getting an OT Ditto.

It’s just the same logic as how summons are worth more than the pokemon itself. By buying the ditto from the collector, the egg can be shiny hunted. In other words, the egg has the potential to be shiny. The gem collector is also the only reliable way to hunt ditto, therefore, the egg costs more
