-Sign ups-

Nobody knows how they escaped, or what happened to them. One day, they were just gone. The cameras were busted, and the only evidence is long red hair, and a rose.
That's what the newspaper article said, and it was that day that the search began. The search for The Experiments.


You are the Experiments. We are. And we have been kidnapped by Team Rocket. We all have unique abilities, as we have been tested and experimented on by scientists! We have to survive on our own, after escaping Team Rocket. And each experimented one has a special mark as well, that sets us apart from other pokemon.


Rules:
1: All normal pH rules
2: Please try and avoid one-liners, as they tend to clog the chat.
3: Just put in your description that your character likes books.
4: Please don't God mod, and please don't OP it!
5: three characters are the limit, if you want a new one, you have to "kill one off" in ways of speaking.
6: you also can't take control of another users character, unless given permission
7: you Can't do something fatal to another person's character unless giving permission
8: Mild cursing is allowed, like Damn and crap. No words that PH does not allow. If you feel uncomfortable with this rule, contact me and I can edit it out.
9: You can do amazing things!

Several pokemon were in cages, others in balls, still others carrying packs.

Margo winced as she as bounced around. She was one of the more unlucky pokemon that was put in a cage. It was dark, and smelly, and damp, and scary, and dark and all the other things. Her Blue stripes glowed faintly, emiting a small amount of light. She heard other pokemon near by, but she couldn't see them as her cage was covered in cloth.

Eris laid in her cage, fingers drumming against the floor of it in boredom. The people who had taken her had designed this cage specially for her, given her track record of mischief and escape attempts. She could hear other Pokemon around her, but she couldn't see them. She wished she had someone to at least talk to. The quiet bothered her just a little bit.

Linii woke up in a damp and mouldy cage. Dirty water slowly dripped down from the ceiling. She stifled a scream and looked around. It was total darkness. Linii moved to the edge of her cage a curled up in a ball, it was freezing. She tried to create a lightning bolt but she was damp from the water. She shook her tail and it shone feebly, barely illuminating anything. She sighed and squinted her eyes, trying to make out the other shapes in the darkness. Linii heard noises nearby, *other prisoners?* she thought. She sighed heavily and thought of a way to escape.

Leah cried in her cage.She padded at the door hoping some one would come to her rescue.She cried and cried but no one came she became hopeless in her cage.Saddened by guilt if only she stayed at home like her mother said she would have maybe not been in this cage.Trapped...Useless...Hopeless.She wondered how her mother felt.How her mother would feel as she walked home and saw that her daughter was missing.Missing and never to be seen again.Oh how much Leah wished she could escape,but all she could do was scratch the cage grate trying to escape the experiments.

One day,Leah got her chance,but she didn't go home.No,she didn't want to involve her mother.Imagine her shock as she saw her daughter use dark and ghost type moves.She would call her a disgrace to her Espeon line,so Leah stayed with the other escaped experiments.

Leah woke up to find herself still in the cage.She cried to herself "It was just a dream?Why be so cruel to me world?".She paced in her cage and mumbled "I wonder if I should keep my hopes up maybe god sent me a message.Leah grew up with religion as a friend and believed that god sent her a message of hope."I won't give up"she said looking up toward the heavens(Or what she thought were them).

Being in the dark for so long sharpened Linii's senses, she could hear much better. She sighed miserably as she woke up from an uncomfortable nap. Her ear twitched as she heard voices nearby. *Hello?* She called out, hoping for a response.

Floria blinked her eyes open and squinted against the darkness. She was laying on a stone-cold concrete floor, surrounded by grated bars. She shivered, fear trickling like ice water down her spine. She tried standing up, but she hit her back against the cramped cage roof, causing a ringing clang!

She shuddered. What... was this place? She barely remembered anything, but she remembered the dark, the fear, and the pain... She tried crouching in the cage, and rested weight onto her front right hoof, but she nearly yelped in pain. Something had happened to her leg, and now it hurt to move. She collapsed back down, hopeless and tired. She felt so broken she wanted to cry. She let out a helpless whimper.

Just then, she heard a faint voice. Her ears twitched and swiveled, trying to piece together what it said and where it was coming from. She gasped. There were other Pokemon here! Her heart fluttered with the slightest bit of hope. She wasn't alone!

As her fear of the dark continued to grab at her, she let out a shaky, "H-hello...!"
She shook her head. No one would be able to hear that. She cleared her throat and tried again. "Hello!" she called out.

Her hoof was in searing pain, and she felt as though her heart had been shattered into a million pieces, but at least she wasn't alone. Letting out a sigh, she laid her head down and waited for a response.

Linii heard the response. *Hello! Hello! Is there anyone there?* She peered out the darkness hopefully* Linii shook her tail and it up dimly. She shook it even more. *Hello! Can you see the light? If you can, that's me!* linii waited for a response...

Floria shot her head up. There really was someone! She saw a flickering light in a cage nearby, and she almost cried with joy. "Hello! Yes, I can see you! Hi!" she cried out. She thought for a moment. What could she do to let them know she was here as well? She picked up one of her hoofs (the one that wasn't hurt) and stomped on the ground, making a metallic clinking sound. She clinked her hoof against the floor in a series of consistent rhythm, almost unconsciously spelling out "I'm here" in Morse code. "Are you alright?" she asked the voice.

Linii heard the clanging and looked up excitedly. *Yes! I can hear you!* she almost cried with relief, she wasn't alone. *What's your name?* she asked hoping that this person could be her comfort during this miserable time.
Linii sighed sadly, was the person just a cruel trick played on her by the people who captured her? She couldn't remember anything, only a blank period of time. She sat up, all the muscles in her body tensing as she nervously scooted to the other side of the cage, avoiding the puddle of murky water. She called out again,*Hello!* her voice echoed, *Hello? Hello...hello...hello..he...llo...o...*

"Hello!" Floria called out. "I'm here!"
Her voice echoed ominously throughout the empty cages. Her muscles ached from being squished inside this cramped cage for so long. "My name is Floria." she said, hoping her voice would reach the other's ears, even when she lowered it a little. After all, they never know who's listening. "What's yours?"

Floria beamed, despite everything. "Hello Linii! I'm doing about as well as I can do down here... my leg really hurts."
She grimaced as she tried to move and stretch her cramping muscles, her leg exploded in pain and she gasped. Yup, definitely not trying that again. She re-positioned herself and winced, her stomach churning from breathing in the dank, musty smell of this cage-air. "How about you?" she asked, gritting her teeth against the new flare of pain.

"Huh," Eris thought, listening carefully. "Linii and Floria? Wonder if there is anyone else nearby?" She didn't make a sound, though. She was unwilling to trust another, even if they were like her. She couldn't see out of her cage, Team Rocket wasn't as silly as she had thought when she was a wee Snorunt. This cage was a testimony to their evil genius ways. So all she could do was listen to her surroundings,waiting for something to happen. And prune her buds a bit. They had felt off for a bit, so might as well fix them up. "If only I had a mirror." she thought with a sigh, carefully peeling open one of her rosebud horns to begin blindly adjusting.

The bright flash of light hurt Floria's eyes, but she was grateful to finally not be plunged in darkness. She decided not to respond, as Linii already knew she was there, and instead rested her head on her hoofs, being careful of her injured one, letting the light sink in. It was nice knowing others were trapped here too, in a weird way. It told her she wasn't alone. Man, what a story this would make...
If she survived it and got back to tell.
No! You can't think like that! she scolded herself. But it was becoming more and more difficult to stay hopeful in this dark, dank, and moldy cell. She sighed, her eyes drifting closed, her mind slowly settling into an uneasy sleep.

Linii turned off the light in her cage sadly. She hoped for some conversation. She swiped at the bars ferociously, and it struck with the metal with a loud CLANG. She roared in frustration and clambered on all fours, taking no notice of the water. Electricity crackled dangerously all over her fur with a low buzzing noise. Linii grunted angrily and prowled around the cage, looking for anything, anything to cure her of her frustration. She sniffed at the bars and winced *Power protection,* she thought, *I can't use my moves against the bars.* She let out another huge roar and slumped back down in anger.

Floria's eyes flew open at the sound of the massive roar. Panic flooded over her mind and she pressed her ears flat against her head in fear and an attempt to drown out the sound. She heard a clang ring out, and the roar seemed to be coming from nearby. Against her better judgement, she un-flattened her ears and perked them in order to tell exactly where the sound was coming from. It seemed to be coming from... Linii's cage! Was something in her cage?! Worry started churning with her panic. No... nothing could have gotten in. Was it Linii?? Why was she so mad?
Worry for the friendly Pokemon she was talking to overtook her former panic, and she let out a soft nicker. "Linii...?" she asked quietly, her voice rimmed with fear. "Are you alright?"

Misery had opened up a hole in her heart that was expanding so quickly that it would break her. *I just want to get out of this CAGE!* she shook her body violently and water dripped onto her face. She roared in pain, the water felt like it was burning her. Linii stopped moving and lay there quietly, growling angrily.
