Deimos listened to the music more and more and decided to get up from his seat. He looked at the room and the stuff scattered on the floor. As much as he preferred stuff being on the floor and easy to pick up, he might as well clean anyway. After all, there might be an emergency and would have to use one of his first aid kits or bandages and spending ages looking for them because they're on the floor. He began to clean as the music played and got into his head, putting stuff on shelves, putting stuff on desks, and putting stuff in drawers. It took him a while, but the only thing on the floor was clothes. He put his spare clothes in the closet and stretched his arms. he sat down back on the desk, looking at the almost perfect room. If it wasn't for the empty food packets, empty cans of coke and an empty cigarette pack, it would probably be perfect. Just that his trash cans were full and couldn't be bothered to go down and throw the trash away at this time.

As Shift flew around, he heard the faint sound of music coming from one of the rooms. He followed the sound, hoping that whoever or whatever was over there was willing to hold a conversation. He stopped in front of the window. The person was awake, and it looked like they just got done cleaning up the room. He politely knocked on the window using his talons.

Deimos instantly got shocked as the door knocked. He turned off his music and walked over to the door and opened it. He looked up at the person in the corridor. "Hello... Do you want anything?" He said, his voice coming from seemingly nowhere. "Sorry if the noise had bothered you."

Shift had almost immediately turned back into a more human form, leaving a few small feathers in his hair and skin with the rush. "Don't worry about the music, I was barely able to hear it." He gave a comforting smile along with the statement. "I was just walking the halls when I heard it." He was actually flying in the halls, but figured it didn't matter too much. "And I figured that I could introduce myself, in spite of the odd time." Everyone else, from what he heard, was asleep or out of their rooms, with this person being the exception.

"Call me Shift," he held out a hand, a few down feathers peeking out from the cuff of his jacket. "Some people call me The Wanderer, but I find that it's better for a title than a name."

Deimos shook Shift's hand "Well, I'm Deimos. I have no other name than that. I couldn't sleep so I played some music my friend gave to me before I left to get here." He said, tired. "I've been thinking about introducing myself to some people soon enough. Just wanted to make sure my room was clean enough, and also tend to my own personal needs." Like homesickness he thought to himself.

"Deimos..." he thought, "The name is familiar, wasn't Raven related to a Deimos?" he put that to the side, it most likely wasn't the same person anyways. "That's fair, while I'm not one to retreat into a room, everyone needs some alone time." a pause. "We have a bit of time to kill, do you wanna chat for a bit, maybe roam the halls? I have a bit of a habit of needing to move around, you see."

"I might as well. Seeing the fact that I can't really sleep well at the moment and maybe wandering around will do me a bit of good." Deimos said. "And to be fair, I never really slept often in my world anyway, considering that it's always night and you never really have the time to sleep." He sa8d as he straightened his cap and brushed the dust off his jacket.

Deimos's home world being constantly dark helped explain the man's pale completion. No need for melanin if the main source of UV rays, the sun, was absent. Shift walked alongside him, making small changes to his height so that they were both the same height. "So what's your home world like anyway? From what you've said it already sounds very different from mine."

"Well... it's always night, there is no sun. Barely anything is what someone would consider normal, including the fact there is no animals. Everything is just what normal people would call a zombie movie. 9 times out of 10, someone's doing something that people outside my world would see as illegal. But there is no rules in our world... just madness." Deimos said. "You can probably tell my friend's were hella excited about this multiversal sort of resort, just that my friends felt that I should go as its basically their jobs to keep the world in balance. Still miss those guys." He stopped talking there. Topics like his world mainly stuck with it's inhabitants, but Deimos thought spreading a little bit of info wouldn't do any harm.

He listened to Deimos, nodding along to his explanation. "I know a handful of people that would enjoy a world like that, at least compared to mine. Mine is...how should I put it..fantastical, but not the most ideal place to live. The gods fight all the time, putting everyone else in constant danger. Some of us try to get rid of them becoming gods or God-like with our magic. A lot of the time it..." he paused, rubbing his right wrist. The brand was there, and while it was covered by his jacket, it would still mark him as a mistake, a powerful one, but a mistake that was irreversible. "...A lot of the time it fails." Shift personally thought he had went into too much detail about his world and his life, they just met not even an hour ago, but he couldn't retract what he said. A part of him, the lonely part that yearned for his friend, didn't really want to.

[Prompt: It’s starting to get really late. Better get to sleep soon
before it gets too dark if you aren’t already...]

Charles walked around the plaza for a bit, but he had no matter. Looking at his watch, he saw menacing numbers. 6:21. Time really was slipping away here... He decided, even if he wasn’t going to sleep, it was best to head to his room. Entering the elevator, he was greeted by an angel, it seemed. Frightened by the divine-like stranger, he backed into the corner of the elevator and tried not to make a sound, lest he die that day. The angel looked at him.

“What floor you on?”

Charles shuddered a bit, but he knew it would be rude not to answer.

“5th floor.”

The angel nodded, pressing the 5th and the 7th button. As the angel walked away just in case others came (which he found unlikely, it seemed), a certian row of numbers caught his attention. B1, B2, B3, B4. There were bottom levels? He then looked at a card scanner just by it. Must’ve been an ID verifier, because credit cards, at least from his world, weren’t quite that advanced. Perplexed, he walked out of the elevator and went to his room.

Pit waited a bit longer after helping the headphone-bearing stranger, and finally arrived at Floor 7. He layer down in his bed, and what felt like an instant, fell into a slumber...

Ralsei sat down in his room. It was quite comfy, so he slowly fell asleep under his sheets. He smiled. This was relaxing.

"Sorry to hear that..." Deimos says. He checks his watch, 6:21. "As much as I don't want to sleep, I don't want to walk around and annoy people at this time. Maybe tomorrow we can walk around for a bit?" He said as he rubbed his spherical face, normally where eyes would be. "I also don't want to annoy the employee's working here."

*Spyder suddenly felt really really tired, which was an odd experience for her, considering she never really did sleep, she chalked it up to pulling several all-nighters recently, she got to a stopping point, closed her sketchbook and put it on her bedside table, she laid down and pulled to covers over her shoulders, eventually falling asleep*

"Yeah, that's fair." Shift wouldn't normally worry about annoying staff or anyone in authority, but his gut told him that he might find out what happens to those who stayed out too late if they continued. "See you later, then." Shift waved goodbye as he headed to an elevator to go to his room.

Deimos sighed and shut the door. He laid on his bed, slowly falling asleep. As much as he didn't want another nightmare like the one he had before, he wanted to save his energy for tomorrow. He suddenly fell asleep, thinking about tomorrow.

The room was still as untouched as when he arrived. He kept the lights off and went to sit on the bed. Shift decided to close his eyes for a moment, and almost instantaneously he fell asleep.

Rex couldn't sleep. Him being a Digimon, sleeping doesn't even effect him most of the time. He slept for a while but just felt homesick to death, he misses the other Royal Knights and especially misses fighting. He looked at the time and sighed. He couldn't just go down and train to his hearts content. He sighed as he began storing the memory data inside of him to prepare for sleeping. He didn't care if he couldn't sleep, he just at least wanted to make sure his data was secure in case he does end up passing out or sleeping.

Rolling into the elevator, Alaparos was about to hit the 7th floor button before a young boy barreled in with a frightened Nygah! barely avoiding getting squished by the closing elevator doors. "f-fourth floor if ya be so kind." The boy gasped out, chest heaving as his half zipped up bag dangled over one shoulder. Between the strands of hair, Alaparos could make out mismatched eyes and politely looked away, pressing the button for the fourth and seventh floor as the elevator lurched into motion.

"Some water?" Alaparos offered, holding out a water bottle from his wheelchair to the young boy. He refused, straw hair shaking furiously enough for him to be slightly worried. But a amused smile crossed over Alaparos' face anyways as he put the water back. The rest of the ride was spent in silence as the two men kept to themselves, only a hasty goodbye said between them when the elevator reached the fourth floor. By the time he reached his destination, Alaparos was still wide awake. It was unfortunately the nature of underworld creatures such as himself to be used to the endless nights, riding with this masters under the cloak of darkness. For him, darkness was daylight and daytime was night. Or maybe not, daylight was rare in the Underworld after all and the only times that happened it meant that Athena (and how he hated that name, millennia later still evoking the same ugly roll of acrid emotions) had broken through. So perhaps it would just be better to say that he was accustomed to the gloomy realms he called home. Rolling down the hallways, arms burning with exertion of having to push himself everywhere, Alaparos locked the door behind him letting out a sigh of relief.

With prying eyes out of the way, he cautiously stood up from his wheelchair, hissing at the pain from underused legs, letting himself fall forward with a muted thump. It was almost like molting, clothes and humanoid features cracking away as Alaparos wriggled out of the stifling confines of his human appearance as he settled into his more preferred form. What could only be described as a content trill bounced across the room as Alaparos finally stretched his whole body out working out the kinks and aches in them. Carefully folding up his wheelchair and setting it aside, Alaparos curled up in a makeshift nest that he had constructed for himself, pleased to just be in his most comfortable form for now.

After noticing that the sun is setting, Pearl and Marina make their way to their rooms. When they get there, they just go to bed and sleep the day away. It's been a long day... at least it feels like it to them.

Prompt: [You (if you hadn’t already) fell asleep. Suddenly you see
something... odd...

Wake up. Time to get to work.]

Pit flew straight out of bed, so quickly he almost crashed through the wall. He stopped himself and began to think. Mario? It couldn’t be. He dissapeared what seemed to be ages ago; it seemed impossible for him to even be in his head normally, let alone talk to him... This couldn’t have been just a strange dream- some of it had to be a message. He was used to this- his other team members back at home were used to this. A message from somebody in the form of a dream. He got up and went straight for the elevator.

Ralsei couldn’t believe what he had seen. He had never seen such a person before... And the fire around them seemed painful... He stood up and went to go to the plaza.

Charles looked around. Nobody was nearby, other than his mini chopper. He grabbed the possible choking hazard and looked at his watch for a second. 1:29. Time does really fly by when you’re asleep. He walked over to the elevator, only to be greeted by a familiar face. The angel. Surely this time he was going to die. He cowered in the corner.

“You good? Something- happen in those few hours?” The angel inquired. Charles didnt know what to say, but one thing came to mind.

”You saw it too, didn’t you?”
