Starting Life in Another World - RP
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Starting Life in Another World - RPThere has been a rumor of another world, much different than the one we live in. There have been many different stories about this “other world”, some saying it’s magical and bustling with wonder, others saying it’s hell. Well... no one has ever been able to confirm these things. So, you take it upon yourself to investigate and see this other world for yourself. What you find there is well... unexpected. Talking animals, mythical creatures come to life, odd humanoid creatures, and humans that are much different than yourself await you in this mystical land. But... something seems... off. Apparently, you coming here has brought a being into this happy and peaceful world, one manifested from the strange energy you brought with you. This strange energy gave some of you the features of the mystical creatures here, but it also made an evil being bent on destroying everything here. Your job, along with the residents of this world, is to find the source and destroy it.
It had felt like as if she were falling, but she wasn’t going anywhere. What was merely a brief millisecond in time had seemed like endless hours of falling in an abyss, void of any light. Once the experience had ended, she found herself laying down in the middle of a busy street, the ground below her made of smooth purple-ish rocks neatly arranged to fit each other almost perfectly. The sight she saw around her as she attended to get up was mind boggling, creatures of all kinds were roaming around her as if they were humans living in a populated city. Some of them surprisingly even looked like humans. All of a sudden her arms buckled beneath her while she attempted to get to her feet. She was startled by how intense everything was. Everything was bright, loud, and sharp. The fatigue from the “fall” wore off and she was completely normal, other than the fact that her senses were amplified greatly. She managed to get over it slowly and stood up, only to find that her balance was off. She had to spread her arms out to prevent herself from falling. She slowly moved around, almost losing her footing several times as she tried to gather hint of where she was. After some time she had found a worn down sign with big bold letters that said “Altigore Square” with faded, smaller text underneath.
Jay whisked through the clouds, blending in, with his white scales. He spotted a human and made himself invisible to the human, flying down, and landing with a light thump.
Eitei had been blissfully skipping down the street, looking for other kids to play with when something strange caught her attention. She couldn’t see, hear, or smell anything different, but she knew something was off. She continued on with a big smile covering her face and made her way to where the strange being was. Weird... this wasn’t the only thing off, something major was lurking as well. She decided to ignore the itching feeling of dread and greet the newcomer. She noticed that Jay had approached the woman and decided not to interrupt, but instead wait.
Eitei was a bit confused after Jay had flown away, and also a bit confused on the human’s reaction. Were they really that foreign and weird? She did read that all humans had nearly the same features, with a few exceptions, but she didn’t think they would be this weirded out at the sight of them. She gave a wave with her feathery hand and went up to her as she backed away. “Hi! What’s your name? I’m Eitei, nice to meet you!” She continued bombarding the woman with questions until she ran out.
Today was grocery day. While Alaparos didn't hate grocery days, it was a nuance to go into town and try and navigate through the crowds. Grunting as he carefully stepped around a small dog, Alaparos squinted at the grocery list before looking over the crowds to try and see where to start. Mandrake Root and Cat's Footsteps were favourites of the calves in his herd so he started there, weaving through the crowds to make his way towards the stall where he knew a kind old lady sold various sweets and goodies that Alaparos could pick up. A slight commotion drew his attention however as a creature that Alaparos had never seen before falling to the ground before backing up against the wall. Hm, a newcomer to the city then. He meant to go about his business but when it looked like she was getting crowded by other creatures, he took pity on her and trotted over. "Hey, let's give our guest here some space, yeah?" He suggested kindly, using his large body to help clear a clear space around Alisa. "I know you're all curious but the poor creature looks quite overwhelmed."
