ZhongYun skidded to a stop beside the group as they had finished
talking and the circle of ice flickered before fading from
existance, stopping in front of Jekylline as they worriedly
examined her physical state. "Are you alright? How bad are your
wounds? We should get you out of here, My Lady." They frantically
muttered, ironic considering that they looked much worse than
Jekylline. Casting her sibling's worries off though, Jekylline
nodded as she readied herself beside Zephyr and Neptune.
"Alright everyone." Akane says, raising her voice. "Let's do this!"
she levels her polearm and charges. "For Lady Lumine!" Lacrimae
shrieks, as she too leaps into the fray.
"... Is that not the Harbinger? The one who murdered Rex Lapis?"
ZhongYun asked himself, flicking their spear down. While they may
not hail from Liyue in the strictest of senses, Rex Lapis had been
important to their mother as well as their teacher. Narrowing their
eyes, they gave one last look to Jekylline before following
Lacrimae, albeit more silent.
Neptune and Zephyr decided to join them as well, still having their
weapons ready, Neptune ready to use his burst to split appart any
fatui troops that would approach, Zephyr already casting some
spells to assist in healing his fellow teammembers. He tried to do
his best despite his vision being cracked
Lacrimae let's out another shriek. Rain starts to fall on the Fatui
troops. The collected rain forms into a massive leopard, which
leaps into the fray beside Lacrimae.
Akane assists where ever she can. Lacrimae is being loud as usual,
Neptune is fine and doesn't need help, and Zephyr is healing while
staying away from dying. "All good." she thought.
Swinging his claymore, a large wave of water appeared, splitting
the fatui troops up into reasonable groops of two or three.
//Easier to take care of// he thought, swinging his claymore again
to get back into the action using his physical strikes, avoiding
the damage caused by Electro elements as best as he could
"Smart." Akane mutters. Pyro energy surrounds her polearm. She
attacks some of the Fatui skirmishers, getting rid of them easily.
She begins clearing a way towards Childe.
Zephyr continued speaking his healing spells, returning hp and
stamina to his fellow teammates, his vision giving its best to keep
up with the spells. He hadnt really used it that much ever since it
had cracked, yet everytime he did he could heal small ammounts of
hp. Every help counted afterwards. He watched his brother beat up
enemies like they were nothing, well until his spell would run out
he could do that, yet afterwards he´d be pretty tired
With her claymore swinging, and her sibling watching her back,
Jekylline recklessly went in laughing and excited. Her vision
glowed within its filigree casing, ice slowing her enemies down
giving her and her sibling the chance to dispatch them with little
effort. Behind her ZhongYun was keeping any enemies from
approaching too close to Jekylline, polearm darting out like a
snake, striking anyone who posed a threat. Sporadically, they would
throw out a hand, a weak shield flickering into existence to
protect one of their allies from a hit, the shield shattering after
one hit. The pair were a deadly combination, sticking close yet
never hitting each other too used to the other's presence and
patterns to make such mistakes
What appears to be a dying purple shield flickers slightly as the
figure reaches the camp entrance. Akan gasps. "Xin Sui!" she cries
out, rushing over. Xin Sui stands before the entrance, her eyes
closed, sweat dripping of her forehead and her hands pressed
together.
With worry in his green eyes, Zephyr spun around to where Akane
just went, he noticed Xin Sui. She seemed quite exhausted, maybe he
could help her with some of his healing. He followed Akane quickly,
spellbook ready and a spell already on his lips. The catalyst user
kept away from the fatui as the fighting continued and he was
moving over the battlefield at a rather quick pace
"She's going to pass out!" Akane says, gasping again. She takes one
look at the electrical field surrounded the Harbinger and the dying
purple shield. "Help her." she pleaded with Zephyr. She steels her
nerves and leaps past the purple shield. She flinches slightly as
the electrical field briefly shocks her. Akane half-tackles the
Foul Legacy Transformed Harbinger, sending the two tumbling down
the side of the Dragonspine mountain.
As the siblings took stock of the situation, they reacted
accordingly with Jekylline running after Akane to support her while
ZhongYun fell back to protect the downed Xin Sui. "I would suggest
getting her somewhere safe first." They suggested, using their
spear to flick away any incoming Fatui. "I'll shield you but it
will not hold for long." Their already weak vision flickered in
response, the cracked gemstone emitting a faint warm glow as a
shield of stone and earth enveloped both Zephyr and Xin Sui. It
would provide the two with enough cover for Zephyr to work his own
brand of magic while ZhongYun would defend them
Lacrimae follows the cryo user after Akane and Childe. She vaults
over the heads of skirmishers and nearly falls down the mountain
herself. The harbinger and Akane are gaining speed, and Lacrimae
takes to leaping down portions of the downward slope.
Zephyr nodded a little, starting to cast Spells to get Xin Sui's
power back to a point where she wouldnt pass out on the Spot. Truly
he did his best, even withdrawing the spell he had used on his
brother who had also followed Akane and the others to maybe fight
childe. Zephyr continued to speak his Spells, kinda dipping into
unsure waters with some, yet his vision seemed to keep up,
glimmering slightly as he finished the last Spell, a small ring of
dendro energy dancing around Xin Sui. (I apologize for spelling
errors my mobile phone doesnt like me)
Winding up her claymore, Jekylline let out a grunt as she swung the
weapon like a bat into the empty air, a ramp made of ice
crystallizing before her feet. Taking a running leap off the
construct, Jekylline glanced down to see that the bottom of the
hill was underneath her and while Childe and Akane were rolling a
little bit away, it would be faster this way. Doing a small flip,
She brought her weapon slamming down onto the ground, shockwaves
cushioning her landing somewhat but man did her knees feel that
landing. Having reached the bottom of the slope first, Jekylline
readied her sword, eyes trained on the rolling duo
"For Lady Lumine!" Lacrimae shrieks, slamming into the Harbinger
and the Yaksha. She and Akane move to pin Childe down. "Did- did
you say... Lumine?" Childe's voice sounds so normal. Akane narrows
her eyes. "Stay away from our home, Harbinger!" Lacrimae snarls.
"Akane, mind lending a helping hand?" Akane nods. She is surrounded
in her crimson aura and leaps into the air taking Childe with her.
He had realised that something seemed off, his Blade lowered as he
heard Childes voice. Something seemed off. He didnt know what
though, so he just joined his comrades in combat, trying his best
to assist them on the ground because his claymore wouldnt reach up
into the air and his elemental strikes could add a hydro effect to
the others, which wouldnt be great considering the electro
abilities
"Neptune, no!" Lacrimae cries out. "If you add hydro to the mix,
Akane will get hurt!" she said. "As much as I want Childe gone, we
can't do anything at this point. Let the Crimson Avenger handle
this. We need to make sure everyone's alright."
"Ive realised" he muttered "Yet did you hear his voice when he
talked. It didnt sound like he´d be controlled or anything. maybe
there was worry in it." he now lowered his claymore completely,
just watching at this point. He brushed a loose strand of hair
away, out of his sight. His brows still furrowed, he watched what
happened in the air
