Tiana Rosemary was stressed by the current situation. She still has yet to get over the death of Madame English and now one of the fellow suspects were also killed. While she didn't know Reyna that well she couldn't help but feel a little sad by her death. I think I'm starting to get a headache because of all this... Rosemary thought to herself as she rubbed her head a little. She tried to keep her calm and dignified expression on her face trying not to let any stress or discomfort leak out, and while she mostly did a good job of hiding her true emotions some of them did leak out a little

Evelyn not her lip hard. Not again, not again, not again. She wasn't going to pretend like she knew anything of the second victim, she hadn't even been at the funeral having been called back home. At least that meant they couldn't possibly accuse her, right?
Being called back to be I interrogated however was not what she had planned for at all and it couldnt possible be a good thing. Nevertheless, she tried to keep her composure, smoothing out her dress and waiting for something to happen, silently praying it would be a good thing for a change.

Quote from Xel
He knew that if he went alone to search for evidence, he'd be more at risk of being caught in an unfortunate situation with a killer on the loose, so with some reluctance, he gave in to the demands of the detective and went to go take statements.

He may not have liked it, but everyone's best bet would be to stay with each other as best they could, even if that meant the perpetrator stood next to his hip with the expression of a pitiful bystander.

It's not like anyone would listen to him anyways. What good is logic if no one takes you seriously..?

Westling was arranging reports when Xel entered. He pulled out Reyna's and held it in his calloused hand. The rest were left in a pile on their end of the table. "I hoped that this would have been a simpler case." he said mainly to himself. "But now with Reyna gone, this whole case seems more than just a crime of passion." The file contained what he had gathered from their interrogation, which was almost none.

"Why did the murderer kill her, of all people?" he asked. Looking to Xel for suggestions. He had some of his own, but wanted some input. She could have been hiding something that the purpetrator didn't want out, they could have been eliminating competition, be it for fame or better opportunities for dancing.

Jessica lit a cigarette waiting for anybody to speak, the atmosphere was ... intimidating, to say the least. With the death of two people, it occurred to Jessica just how much death goes on in the world. Everyday someone dies and Jessica could be one of those few. She mustered that thought, as having an existential crisis wasn't on her agenda...

With the new arrival of killings and the sudden realization Jessica could be next, she halted to be philosophical about it. The girl never knew the difference between the painting and the real things, so why not slow don't to analyze the situation? Her brain thought of nothing in the coming minutes.

Ophelia had to be brave. In this age, men had much of the power. They had rule, and women stood by with no resistance as marriages and fathers controlled their lives and decisions. Ophelia had been lucky enough that her grandmother hadn't forced her to marry. Now, there were times when that bravery had to extend beyond just living life without being completely under the thumb of those in a higher power, male or female, and this was one of them. Despite her lack of a proper relationship with her aunt, who wouldn't be shaken by being stirred from a world created by the pages of a novel, where there was no controlling grandmother, constant stream of rules, and the words "Be a lady, put the book down" to constantly drill away at her, by the screams and sounds of a crash as a chandelier crushed her aunt. Death itself had asked her to step away from her boundaries, and she thought that she would be able to step back onto the road paved into life that she was expected to follow. It would be back to the same uphill climb, the same arguments, and eventually giving in. But with this new death, Ophelia was brought back to this dark, unknown path of fear. Who had killed her aunt? Why had the woman died? All these questions...She traced a pattern with her finger on the leather cover of the book. It had been the one that she had used to teach herself to read years ago and had been with her ever since. And now, it seemed like the only lifeline she had.

Evelyn's ring fell to the floor with a quiet clatter. She had been fiddling with it so much, it seemed, that it had come loose and fallen off. Quickly, she bent down to pick it up, her heart and thoughts racing despite the insignificance of the event. Again, her mind wandered to the recent events as she stood up, smoothing out her dress and slipping on her ring. Why would anyone want to kill Madame English and the other woman, she forgot her name, it made no sense. What would make someone do such a thing? Would they...
No.
She pushed that thought out of her head, proceeding to check her clutch bag to be sure she hadn't forgotten anything, a feeble attempt to try and distract herself.

Quote from Xel
"More than just a crime of passion."

He mulled over it for a moment, letting the thought turn in his mind as he stared at the folder in the detective's hand. An entire life, and that was all it was reduced to. And why her, of all people? He kept what he knew to himself, knowing they very well couldn't discuss something this possibly incriminating within earshot of the perpetrator.

"It's beyond me now, detective." Xel bit his tongue, trying to remain stone-faced. "For now I suggest we consider security for all involved. Do you say we should contact the local officers now, let them know to stay vigilant?.. Not that it'd do any good if this went public.."

Westling shut his eyes. His arms were crossed and his empty hand was tapping his other arm. After a moment of silence, he spoke. "I'll talk to the law enforcement about it." Rumors were already drifting about the murder of Madame English in the city. Everything from an assassin hired by her husband to a simple accident were thrown about in the pub last night. Westling was sure that if he went tonight the drunken philosophes would have already connected the two and would be placing bets on which sorry woman was next.

"Let's get this started, then." The file he held was shortly replaced with another. "Can you go get Miss Tiana Rosemary?" He was reading off the top of the paper. He promptly sat down on one of the chairs and prepared himself and the paper for the upcoming rounds of question-asking.

As Rosemary heard her name being called by Xel she followed him into the interrogation room

She promptly sat down on the chair opposite of the two chairs where she guessed the two Detectives would be seated. She crossed her legs and neatly placed her hands on her lap ready for the questions. She was ready to try and answer whatever questions they asked her to the best if her abilities even if she knew she had nothing to do with Reyna's case
