The doorknob was hard to find in the darkness, partially because it didn't exist. The trigger to its opening was a small button beside the door...it slid open. Leading to an equally pitch black room. Great

Diana looked at the pitch black room, sighing. "Well?" She asked the others, waving her hand inside the pitch blackness "who has night vision? Or wants to risk guards jumping at every corner?" She wasn't trying to scare anyone, just Maybe throw ideas about what could be in the room.

Lani looked at everyone else, then the room, before shrugging. He wasn't sure if the Diancie's idea about guards were right. If they did exist they probably would've jumped out by now.

"I don't have night vision," Lola quipped, "But if you want to risk it, I can help with light." She didn't give a demonstration, knowing how risky it was. She noticed that the Xernea's footsteps had faded, like she had stopped. Was she okay? In this darkness, Lola couldn't really see anything..blinking a few times, she said a little more slowly, "But we should move along."

“Ooh, I can cause shiny glowing! Might attract guards though. Will more shadows help?” Scarlett asked, tapping her antlers and waving her hand in the air, wisps of shadows unfurling from it. Her voice was now like that of a guard’s, except it was a hushed whisper.

At that moment, a gloved hand covered Scarlett's mouth from behind. It seemed guards had been attracted by her giggling. Blue lighting illuminated the area around them, though it was unclear which guard had attacked. They didn't seem to know that anyone other than Xerneas had escaped...though it might not be long....especially if they panicked

The Xerneas simply giggled louder, her giggles slowly morphing into a high-pitched cackle. “Awwww, I got caught! How sad.” She cooed quietly to herself, though it was audible in the silent room. Meanwhile, the girl crossed her fingers, hoping that the others would escape. In reality, she was absolutely terrified, so this was her coping mechanism

Lola was startled by the sound of the Xerenea's voice, and it took a minute before she registered what she had said. Immieadiently, she froze, her hands shaking slightly. The blue light was faint, and Lola thought that her eyes hadn't ajusted to the dark yet. She didn't want to say anything, a barely audible squeak escpaing her, before she immieadiently slapped her hands over her mouth. She could barely see in the dark, but she glanced back, hoping that someone would have an idea that would get them all out of there without attracting the guards.

Silv froze, debating whether to use Plasma fists to try to knock out the guards or run. Fae narrowed his eyes and took a few steps back.
