Ebony was calming down. Soar was pretty easy going, and therefore hadn't gotten too worked up about the Dragalge's carelessness. He felt bad, but still, Cascade would be in the same house as him! This year seemed like it was gearing up to be the best yet, or so he hoped. Of course, he thought this every year, and every year something went wrong... he winced as he recalled the incident involving his accidental flooding of the teacher's lounge when he tripped over a valve in the basement. But nothing like that would happen this year, for sure!
The Kingdra retook her seat, the awkwardness fading away to reveal a flutter of joy in her chest. Sure, she'd likely make a fool of herself time and time again this year. But at least she and Ebony would be right there together. Due to their grade gap and his going to a different school in middle school, the last time she and her brother had attended the same campus was in elementary school. They had a relatively good relationship, at least in comparison to many other siblings. At Theo's comment, she smiled, and responded, "Thank you. It'll be your turn soon." She had a friend, she had swimming, and she had her brother. So, so much could still go wrong, but at least for right now, things looked alright. Cascade turned back to the stage, watching the other sophomores pick their houses.

Kamma tries again and again to push the other girl off of her but admits defeat at last. She sighs, putting a finger to her temple. "I didn't, actually. You're dumb and stupid and everything in between andalsoididntneedyourhelpatall as I can do my pranks myself!"

"What's with that attitude?" she laughed. "At least try to welcome her since you're friends." It was pretty obvious Kamma was that type of person,but other than that they seemed to be good friends,from Marie's behavior at least. "I just can't imagine you two sharing a room..." she continued laughing. It was the sophomores' turn now,and even though she sat perfectly still,she was quite anxious.

Mildly annoyed, Asumi covered her ears in an attempt to reduce the loud noise. "Ι hop this ain't part of the ceremony" she said as she looked around,trying to spot whoever did that. "Hey! Scarlett! Where've you been? Are you the one behind this?I can't think of any other reason you'd just run away like that." she said in a somewhat loud tone as she wasn't able to hear herself. Scarlett definitely didn't make a strong first impression. It was somewhat rude the way she just left but it gave them more of a chance to interact later, or so Asumi thought.

Erika and Ashley fell silent as they watched the students go and get chosen a random house. Erika whispered to Ashley "Even if we end up in different houses, you'll still do stuff with me right?" Ashley nodded and whispered back
"Of course! That's a dumb thing to ask." Erika and Ashley then fell silent again as they kept their eyes on the teachers.

Asumi just nodded and averted her gaze towards the people walking at the box and drawing out papers with their respective house, clapping in celebration. She couldn't really reply to that because she had an allibi Asumi couldn't deny so she just accepted it. "Congrats on becoming a Yellow Ferret,Marie!" she exclaimed seeing as Kamma and Marie calmed down.

Kamma ducks her head as a loud noise deafens the cafeteria. How bold is this Scarlett girl, anyways? Setting an alarm off so suddenly? Admirable in some way, but... Kamma clenches her fist. She can't be one-upped like this...!

After listening to Asumi talk, she bows her head. No way would she ever share a room or house with that stupid Marie. She's dumb. Taller than her. All tall people deserve this mistreatment.
She fires up when Marie seems geniunely saddened by her insults. "N-no way! You aren't that dumb! I-I mean, uh, I mean you're not dumb. That dumb. No, no, hard pause, you're uh. Uh. Uh not th- not stupid at all." She facepalms. Jesus Christ, Kamma.

“Echo Dragomir” Echo immediately thundered her way up the stairs, her sour, unfriendly I will kill you mood back again. She reached her hand in the box, and took a paper out, before leaving back to her seat. The school shied away in terror. “Scarlett” Scarlett literally cartwheeled onto the stage, knocked the box over, picked one out and put the rest back. “Both of us are green deer!”

Anpea was just arriving to the school. Her transfer from Illumina High was... less than optimal, as a storm had delayed her arrival by a couple of hours. Nevertheless, she took it with little care and combs her hair back. "Let's see, how this school fares in the freedom department!" With a bit of excitement, she ran inside and arrived at the cafeteria, then noticing the event going on. "Uhhhh... what did I miss?" Anpea muttered, standing in front of the exit and with a puzzled expression.

"Welcome! You're just in time for the sorting ceremony!" Asumi exclaimed. She scootted a bit closer so as to not yell. "Because a lot of students have enrolled or something like that,they changed things up a little." she added.

Initially she was somewhat irritated that the box fell over but Scarlett managed to put the pieces of paper back quickly. "Congratulations you two!" Wasn't picking a piece of paper out of the bunch that got out cheating,since she could probably see some of them? Anyway,she didn't really care.

Mrs. Lantos feels as if she's about to faint. Just when everything was going so well. Of course she had missed a student. Oh, God, please have mercy on her soul. This one particular student looks as if she could raise Hell upon her.
"Ahahahaha, it looks like we've done a slight mix-up! Anpea Kanaille, please come up on the stage!" She holds the box out straight, afraid to have someone drop it again.

Anpea suddenly had heard her name and, just like a Toxtricity, the blue parts of her hair went up only. Anpea's a name she hadn't heard in a while, usually going by a nickname. She shakes her head and goes up, looking at the box and then just closing her eyes, rumaging through it as if she looked for something before taking it out. "Red Salamander, eh? I apologize in advance for everything I will do." She said, chuckling and then staring at the paper.

"You will live in dorms with these people, be paired up in teams with these people and have these lovely individuals be more or less your family. I do hope you'll be close. And not..." She trails off. "Cause any... trouble..."
