19 turned his back and walked away. Occurrences like this brought back too many memories, and it was idiotic of him to watch, even though he did. He’d been “rescued” by the Community at an unusual age; most had been found when they were mere toddlers, few older than 5. He, however, had been 11 when he had finally slipped up and exhibited his abilities in public. The next day, they’d taken him from his kindly mother and younger sister, kicking and screaming. The absence of the two women had left a churning black void of sorrow and loneliness in his heart, one that he rarely ventured near, never dared to delve into. The independence and the sense of self that had been results of his time with them had gotten him into trouble, deep trouble. Never again, his mind whispered, and he agreed.

The mouse tried to nibble the bracelet off as it beeped, so they wouldn’t notice. It kept nibbling.

7’s hand dropped from her mouth as she turned around to take a look behind the trunk “You er.. good?”
Buffy was concerned for 5... but still, not by that much. She wondered where from 5 got such a drive to escape. A sane person ought to have given up by now, right? Not that she was questioning her sanity.

5 felt the sharp teeth of a mouse. She looked down in alarm, and immeadiently shook her leg, trying to get the mouse off. "Uh, no way. Trying to break it will end up with me on the ground in immeasurable pain, delerious, throwing up, etc. Belive me, it's happened, and it is not fun." She sighed, looking up at the cloudy grey sky. "Sometimes I wonder if my plans fail because I'm alone." Her face hardened. "But then I remember that no one is going to get hurt because of me." She glared at Buffy. "I'm fine, thank you very much." She knew perfectly well how most people thought of her. They thought she was insane. Thought she was a nuisance. The brainwashed guinea pigs didn't exactly have a very good view of her. Like 5 cared.

The kid started to punch a tree. "Lousy, hog headed, yellow belly, buffoons, eejits." He muttered a different insult every time he punched the tree.

The mouse stopped, exited the mouse body, and left to find Murasaki. Murasaki sat in wait, her sketchbook hidden, seeing the mouse body, she ran over, and looked for her mouse friend’s spirit. She saw it poke it’s head out of the anklet, and she sighed, relieved that it was okay, then remembered that it was a ghost, and ghosts can’t die a second time.

Kaida, still in dragon form, with Snowy tucked back into bed, had approached 5. "Do... you need any help? Not just with that...... plastic thing... but with trying to get out... I want to get out too..."

The mouse spirit hugged Murasaki, and rubbed his ghost muzzle against her arm. “I missed you too!” She exclaimed, laughing at his silliness.

“Right then.. heh.” 7 huffed. She slipped back behind the tree and continued her conversation with the weather pretending to not notice Kaida. The obvious distaste in 5’s reply made 7 a bit irritated. She’d much rather converse with the sky spirits.

He punched the tree once more, his hands red. "urg" He walked back to his room. He looked calmer. He flopped on his bed not minding the pain. "hur" He sat up and began wrapping his fists in bandaging.

5 looked up at Kaida. "I'm not letting anyone else get hurt. Who knows why I haven't been killed by now, I've been trying to escape since I was 4. But I can't say that anyone else who gets caught will be as lightly treated as I have." Her eyes had a stone cold look in them, and she grit her teeth. "As for the ankle braclet, I want it on. I'd give anything to not have my ability, to be normal. I want what the Outsiders have." 5 looked down at the ground. "And if I have to live like this, I'd rather live it my way." She paused. "Though.." she whispered. "If you were serious, and had a plan, it would be a shame if you were to sneak out after dark and meet me behind the Mess hall.." 5 pouted mockingly. "But we're good little guinea pigs, aren't we?"

7 was very good at eavesdropping (especially with her sky friends having eyes everywhere) and listened in on 5, Kaida, and now Marasaki out of curiosity’s sake. Meet after dark eh? Like the dark could stop prying eyes. Besides a baby dragon and an army of dead rodents wouldn’t break you out. Still though... there was always a chance.
7 stretched before whispering to the wind a quick few lines. She then took a small book titled “Watership Down” from her pocket and began to read.

Marusaki realized no one was paying any attention that she was there, so she decided to listen in on their conversations that night. She asked one of her bird spirit friends to spy on them later tonight. “Can I come too?” She asked Mora and Kaida.

11 had been eavesdropping on Kaida, Mora and 7’s conversation, using shadows to carry her soul closer while lying unmoving in bed. Maybe she would meet them, and help. After all, no one could ever spot her when she was in shadows. It would probably be hard to cover so many people, but she would try. After all, all of them wanted to escape. 11’s name was Natasha, she remembered that very clearly. She sometimes had visions of soldiers dragging her away from her home town twice...the first round hadn’t been so smooth. She relieved her memories daily, however terrifying, and thus probably ha the sharpest memory of the outside world...

5 smacked her head. "Idiots. I'm surrounded by idiots." She shook her head and stood up. "Forget it. I'm not working with people who attract this much attention. Looks like I'll be playing the good guinea pig role and staying inside." Ignoring all of them, 5 stalked inside. "I thought I'd give working as a team a try, but I guess not." She flopped onto the bed. "I hate my life."
