7 whispered back at Marusaki "Mar.. ta..? I think the wind wants us to... go inside." 7 was still unsure though and waited to see if the drive would say anything first. 7 did though slip her jacket off and tied it around her waste as she was starting to sweat.

"At least it's an upgrade to the same-old same-old place we just came from," Loni added quietly.

Kaida had inched one of her feet close to the steps, then jerked back a bit, then cautiously stepped on. She stood there for a few seconds, then carefully climbed up the steps.

The driver in question was rather confused, and spoke. "Ya gotta have a bus ticket to get on." 5 had already caught up, and harshly whispered to 7, "What. are. you. doing." This wasn't the best place to be running away to, since they were still in sight.


1 sniffed. "Ah! I've got the scent again!" He seemd to have no concern over any attention that he was getting, and despite the weird looks he was getting, he took off in a full out run. Closer, closer, Ah! There they were! He slowed down. "You little rascals! Getting away from me." The bus driver, obviously beliving they were trying to run away, nodded at 1. 1 in turn gestured for them to follow, hissing in 5's ear, "You will do as I say, or we can cause a scene. I won't let you get away a second time though."

A sick feeling of dread created a pit in his stomach as he caught up to 1; the little man was surprisingly fast. He recognized 5, of course, and the other kids from last night. There were also a couple who hadn't been there. None of them had noticed him or 9 yet, and he feared their reactions when they did. I'm trying to help, he thought, as if they could hear him. Please, don't think I'm against you. Then again, that would be for the best, if they did; 1 wouldn't suspect him until it was too late. All the same, he detested upsetting others.

Marusaki flicked her wrist and used the dog spirits from earlier. They started to run toward 1. “We need to stall him.” She whispered to Mora.

7 whispered back just as harshly "I. Don't. Know. Ask the wind that." and reeled back when 1 came closer "Oh cause a scene we will" she said venomously as the wind whipped around protectively and blew 1 down with a gust strong enough to flatten anyone. The sky spirits weren't about to let their friend get caught. 7 pushed 5, Marusaki, and Natasha into the bus before the wind yanked the door close. "Go. now." Buffy told the driver in a tone that one wouldn't dare disobey.

The bus driver immeadiently took off, and the impressive gust of wind caused the rest of the crowd to immeadiently scatter. 5 dodged 7. "Are you crazy? You're not going to get me out of here." 1 stood up. "Little Girl, you have no idea what you've just done." He powered on his Stun Gun. "I told you not to make a fuss." Regconizing 19, 5's face hardened. "You," she said. "7, I am going to help you wether you like it or not."

It stung, the look 5 gave him. He wanted to tell her that he'd made his choice, that he was on her side, but he didn't dare to. What he did dare to do was force the wind into an invisible blockade, hardening the air into a churning, shield-like formation. Unless one walked straight into it, they wouldn't know it was there, but it was, and it was right at the height at which the Stun Gun was aimed, directly in between 1 and 5. This was it, this was the moment, and he, Tempest, was willing to do whatever it took to protect these people.

Kaida had rushed to the back of the bus immediately.

Loni had activated her beast arm to levitate some water from a cup she took with her, forming a ball of water, and then hurling it towards 1, deactivating her beast arm, and then ducking behind a nearby trash can.

The water splashed against 1, but he ignored it, walking forward. When he walked straight into the air shield that Tempest had created, 1 stumbled back. "What the-" he glared at Tempest. "What is this?" He gritted his teeth. "Boy, you do not understand what is going on. I suppose I'll have to punish you first. Moving his arm, 1 aimed the Stun Gun at Tempest's face. Electricity crackled through the air, and a bolt of energy flashed torwads him.

"help me all you want, but I AM NOT going to let that..." 7 looked 1 up and down "hh thing bring any of us back. I'd rather die first." 7 spat. Knowing fully well what the consequences would be if they went back, a sudden burst of anger swamped her. It was completely uncharacteristic and strange. She was hysterical. She crouched muttering to the wind. Fog started to form and 7's grew significantly more exhausted.

Kaida was standing by one of the windows, still in her dragon form, with one of her claws/paws/talons/whatever pressed against it. She didn't want to go back to the Community... Especially now that she was taking in the sights of the outside world... It was beautiful.

Loni had gotten up from behind the trashcan, and shouted "HEY STOOPID", which was directed towards 1. Bad idea. Very bad idea.

Now running on adrenaline and fear, the boy had the presence of mind to duck. Fog appeared to be gathering. Perfect. That worked in the escapees' favor. "Go," he growled to them as he launched a new shield of whirling air at 1, also shooting a glance at 9 back behind the trash cans and hoping she would follow them. His intricately blue eyes were hardened with determination. There was no going back now, and there would never be again.

7 only just now noticed that the other two were fighting 1 as well "come with us" she said before backing into a highly condensed part of the fog and disappeared completely. The pits of the mist swirled around her and as she was embraced by the cool dampness she calmed down. Just enough stamina to stand, she waited and watched. The mist acted like a 6th sense almost.

The dogs had arrived, and were growling at 1. They came closer, very slowly, and gave 1 a warning growl. “That is my back up.” Marusaki whispered into Mora’s ear and Buffy’s ear. “Do you want to give up, or face the dogs?” She asked 1. “Your choice.” She added, slyly.

5 was frozen in shock. Who was she supposed to believe? The boy had been a standby, then a traitor, and now he was trying to save them? 1 was thrown back by the sheet of air, slamming against a trash can. Gasping for breath, he made no move to get up, but he laughed. 5, coming to her senses, snapped at 19, "I don't trust you." She walked up to 1, snatching his gun from his hand. She had watched the Soldiers handle these for years. She had even had a few used on her. She pointed the barrel at 1. "Don't even think about moving." 1 laughed. "It matters not if you kill me, or leave me for dead instead. The Masked Man will prevail. As we speak he is preparing. Any final doubts will be erased when he takes them over. When he leads the Community to take them." 5 dropped the gun, backing away. "No. No, you're lying." 1 laughed again. "Fraid not, dearie. The Masked Man knows all." 5 looked at 19, then 7. "Duffy, we need to go and find the others." She gave 19 a long look. She still wasn't sure if she could trust him. But he seemed capable of deciding what to do with 1. She began walking away. "I don't know if I belive you, but I'm leaving this slimy rat to you. Don't let me down."

Of course she didn't trust him. He deserved that. Watching her walk away, his attention no longer focused on 1, the boy no longer cared about what happened to himself. 5 had now vanished into the fog. Good. He would make sure they were out of range and then perhaps question 1 further. It brought chills, what the man had said. He had to know more... He whipped back to the man, realizing he'd not been paying attention to him for far too long.

7 hadn't really thought anything out during the fight. The fog, was a bad idea. And she didn't want to think now either... what 1 had said scared her. Although the people on the bus were safe, 5 and 7 weren't. In no way was 7 going to chase a bus either in her shape. She also got that 19 probably wasn't going to join them but she did throw a wishful glance at 9 before heading off in the direction the bus had went. The fog had given her a chill so she slipped on her jacket too.
