After running for a while, Melon got tired. She stopped for a moment, turned around, hesitated, and went back. Hopefully, the trainer she stole food from wasn't mad at her anymore...and if she was, Melon would just be hiding in the bushes.

"Wow, a Cherubi! Go Aster!" Jasmine exclaimed, sending him out. The Bullbasaur tackled the Cherubi. "Bulba!"

Reye wasn't sure she cared too much for a wild Pokémon helping the trainers like this, even if they'd agreed to it. It didn't seem fair to the wild Pokémon they were battling...

"A crit! That's lucky!" Jasmine exclaimed, throwing a poke ball at the Cherubi. "Let's be friends!"

Melon noticed the Eevee and Gible still battling, the Gible being really hurt and clearly losing. "Hey I think you two should stop...one of you will get seriously hurt"

He groaned, and pulled himself out of the dirt “Chickorita fox, I can’t stop fighting. It will prove I’m weaker than my partner” he growled, before a Starr rammed into his head, and he groaned, collapsing in pain and fainting

A small trickle of blood leaked out of his gaping maw, and his teeth were chipped form biting so much. His body was covered in bruises, and his eyes were closed and blackened

He coughed, and stood up. Before he could talk, his body morphed and snapped, and he evolved into a gabite “thank you proffesor “ he said before realizing that they couldn’t hear him. He just nodded, and made a low grunt
