After Lusamine's legendary fusion with Nihilego, her research of the Ultra Beasts came to a halt. She had a new focus now, to experiment fusion between a human & a pokemon...

She decided to create a separate facility for this "experiment" on a small, artificial island not too far away from MeleMele island.

But who would be her lab rat? As for that, Lusamine ordered her grunts to kidnap wandering trainers, where she rendered them unconscious to begin experimentation. Results were successful, and she managed to create a human who bears the traits of a pokemon, further analyzation showed that such humans had gained the moveset of the pokemon they were fused with.

Meanwhile, a group of PokeCamp scouts are visiting MeleMele island, all goes well until a mysterious lab in the distance catches their eye...

Camp Scouts:
The sun has already set, but it's not too bad. You've finished your campfire singalong and it's free-time until 10:00. Have fun & talk to your friends !!

Experiments:
You're slowly regaining consciousness, it's cold, dark and damp. Where are you...? Something feels....off...about you.

As her eyes scanned the blood orange rememnants of the Sun searing across the sky, Pana sighed, quite enjoying the view of the colors bleeding into a navy sky dotted with stars. She had spent so long inside that every moment away from the white walls of her hospital were invaluable freedom, reliefs from the confusing walls of her home. The eyes of her Delphox caretaker followed her from a distance, but she ignored it for now, despite knowing that it was only looking out for her; she simply wanted privacy, no matter how little.
She wheeled herself away from the other scouts, her arms methodically diving forwards and backwards, forcing her chair forwards. Once it was in sight, she cast her gaze over the ocean, reflecting the wonders of the sky.

`` Hey !! That's not fair !! How come you didn't participate in the singalong with us! ´´

Clarisse's concentration was broken as a shrill voice wailed behind her. The Yungoos she had stealthily followed picked up on the sound and scrambled away.

`` Come ON, Cassie! I was planning to catch my first Pokemon! ´´ she growled in frustration, throwing the Pokeball she had been holding on the ground in frustration, she bolted up from her crouching position and whipped around to face her sister.

`` Huh? I thought your Fletchling was caught? ´´ "Cassie" put her finger on her chin inquisitively.

`` It was a GIFT from Mom, remember ? ´´ Clarisse snorted angrily, pushing her sister aside, and slinked away to go sulk somewhere.

``Well SORRY! Plus, the camp instructor said not to disturb the wildlife here, & I'm gonna tell him you're breaking a rule! ´´ Cassie called from behind her, with that snippy tone of hers. Clarisse paid her no mind, this was the closest thing to being a trainer, so she signed up for Camp. She'd just take a short walk to cool some steam, maybe, just maybe she'd run into a Pikipek or something.

Title: Tundra

Everything hurt. Tundra couldn't see a thing, but her head, arms, torso, and just about everything else ached. She was frigid; cold seemed to emanate from her. She felt oddly sleepy, and the surface she was laying on was chilled and harsh. Where was she? Her arms seemed to be fastened down, and she was unable to raise them. Something on the back of both of her hands felt oddly hard and cold, like a rock, and there was a similar sensation on her forehead. Her body felt almost unfamiliar.
Something about this was not right.

After several minutes of the serene woods, she made a roundabout to go back to camp. Her eyes remained fixated on the ground. Clarisse stopped in her tracks, heaved her chest, and released a sigh. She slowly raised her head to look up at the sky, beautiful orange and pink hues painted the sky. She brought her head back down and scanned her surroundings. In the distance she noticed a Delphox...while she didn't see it's owner, Clarisse knew they couldn't be too far away.

`` YOOO !! PANA-COTTA !! ´´ she bellowed, waving her arms as she dashed towards the fellow Scout.

It was a dark place, with the size no bigger than a one-room apartment, minus furniture. All it had was a metal toilet with rubber borders and a large weirdly-shining door. Marina coughed out some poison, groaning and looking around. "Where the... what the..." She blinked and held her chest in pain, her electric organs strumming a little on their own.

As her eyes adjusted to the darkness, Tundra looked down at her arms and felt shock course through her. Ice encrusted her arms up to the elbows, preventing her from moving. She vaguely remembered having a nightmare of sorts during which she had been frozen by a large blue Pokemon; it seemed as if the dream had come to life, and it terrified her. The woman tried to pull her arms from the ice but couldn't. Panic flared in her chest, and she glanced wildly around the dark room, looking for some possible means of escape.

"What...... in Kyurem's name........"

Sadie woke up, in this tiny room in.... she didn't even know where. She did live in a rather tiny apartment in the middle of the city, but this was way tinier than said tiny apartment. She didn't even remember any of the events leading to... this. As she looked around, she noticed that she had a pair of feline paws rather than normal human hands..... huh. Maybe she was seeing things... or maybe this is a dream. A crazy and really bizarre dream. Maybe if she just went to bed right then and there, she'd end up back at the hotel she was staying at, with her hands back to normal, so that's what she did......

.... Except things didn't change. They stayed exactly the same. She was still in the room, and she still had these paws... But Sadie noticed that not only did she have paws, she had a tail. Not just any tail, but the tail of a Liepard...

"Am............. am I a Liepard now..?" she asked herself, for she did not entirely.know the answer......

"Come on, guys, let's go!!!"

Dulce was just running around with her Serperior, Jolteon, Lilligant, and Whimsicott. Well, they're actually her sister's Pokemon, but she got permission from her to bring them to camp. Right now, they were just running through the woods, gathering some random objects such as leaves, twigs, small rocks, and some flower petals, and looking at the various wild Pokémon she saw that weren't the usual Pidove, Patrat, Watchog, Purrloin, or Scraggy that lived near her hometown of Castelia City. Eventually, she got tired from all that running around, and returned to where the others were.

***

Roe was sitting in their cell, trying their best to keep themselves warm. Despite growing up in the Galar region, they've never really been that used to the cold, and had to wear at least two layers of warm clothing just to at least tolerate being outside in the winter. They couldn't really tell what exactly this place was, as it was pretty dark.... They tried putting their hand on their face, but some metal object was blocking it, and they couldn't tell what it was...

Sebastian

Opening his eyes, all he could feel was heat. Blazing heat shot through his body. Sebastian barely managed to sit up, there wasnt much space to move around anyways. The room he was in seemed empty. Not even a window, just a small shine of light came from the large door. His eyes wandered around, the room really was empty. Frowning a little he continued sitting there, the ground felt very cold to his touch yet his body seemed to almost be burning up. As he brushed a hand through his hair to prevent them from falling into his eyes, he felt something spread from his head. Were those.. Horns-? He touched the other side of his head to find another horn. yep. seemed to be a pair.

“Are you guys alive? Well, I don’t know about you, Sheds. But I am hurting. I’m surprised I still have you with me.” She ached. Her back and head really hurt. She felt her neck, fuzz? If only she could see a mirror. “I’ve been kidnapped... have others been kidnapped? I don’t know. But I need a razor, because my neck’s fuzzy.”

[I realise now that that's quite long. if you can't be bothered or haven't the time to read it - he wakes up, looks at himself and his room, thinks that it's all a dream, then finds out that his face has been melded together with a mask and lets out a very loud scream. if you want to actually read it, go ahead :D.]

Show hidden content
With a gasp that sounded alien to him, Yyng woke, and found himself laying on a cold slab, sending painful waves throughout his body - no, this wasn't his body, he reckoned. A dream, perhaps? Though it hurt tremendously to do so, he was able to look around, to better understand his surroundings. Flicking open his eyes - which felt unusually heavy - he saw only the ceiling, on which hung a faded yellow bulb, casting miniscule amounts of light across the room. He turned his head to the right - nothing but a small, unhygienic-looking sink - to his left, a simple, uncomfortable bed, at the foot of which stood a heavy, immovable door.
It was at this moment that he decided to look at himself, which was unfortunately hard to do, due to the roaring pain in his neck.
Knee-high white boots covered his feet, the left of which had a weight tied around the ankle, to prevent him from escaping, he supposed. His trousers were black cotton, comfortable to wear, rather baggy - something he would never allow. A blue belt supported them, which also held a black sheath; a holding place for some sort of katana, by the looks of it. The rest of his torso was covered by a grey long-sleeved shirt, and white, hard gloves with black fabric fingers to cover his hands. Black supports formed an 'X' over his torso, most likely keeping some sort of shoulder armour in place. Nothing about this worried him, yet; perhaps his captors had simply changed his clothes.
Another wave of pain stunned him, and also made him notice where the center of the burning, boiling sensation was - his face. He lifted a hand to touch it, only for his hand to meet some sort of hard, cold metal. Moving his hand upwards, he found a hole for both eyes, two, smaller holes below, and another two small holes above. The mask was horribly misshapen, as if it had endured centuries of battle. He slid his hand to the side of it, attempting to take it off. As he did, though, it set his face aflame with pain, making him pause yet again. He pulled harder, and realised that it felt as if he was pulling his face off - which gave him free access to the truth.
He denied it, though, continuing to tug and shove and rip, but it simply wouldn't budge.
He released his full force on it, quite mad - a mask should not be able to triumph over Yyng Turrni.
And, as he used his final strength against his own face, he let out a pained, blood-curdling, ear-exploding scream, before giving up and simply laying there.
If he'd had tears left to fall, they would have.

Tundra
She heard what sounded like a scream faintly resonate through the walls of what she was beginning to understand as her cell. Immediately, thoughts of people being tortured crashed into her imagination. As her terror grew, the ice encapsulating her arms and hands began to spread. A noose of horror strangled her chest as the realization of its source hit her. The ice was coming from her.
She felt as if the cell was collapsing in on her; she hated this new sensation of being trapped. In a fit of pure fright, she wrenched her arms upwards, rocking from side to side as violently as possible. With a sound like shattering glass, Tundra finally freed her arms from the icy shackles of her own creation. She sat bolt upright, then bent over, holding her head in her gloved hands, breathing heavily. As her fingers brushed her forehead, she froze. There seemed to be a gem embedded there. She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself. She grasped at the stone frantically, but gave up presently. The young woman moved to run her hand through her hair, hoping this would prove to be just a dream inspired by her unfamiliarity with her new apartment, that she would wake up any second.
As she tried to brush her hand through her hair, she immediately ran into resistance. It seemed as if all of the strands of her coffee brown hair were fused together. She turned her head, thinking it might just be frozen, and was met with the sight of a translucent membrane that seemed to flow in place of her hair. She moved her hair to a position where she could see it and realized that it had turned what seemed to be a shade of blonde, though she couldn't see it clearly in the low light. Its individual strands looked to be connected by a thin membrane, and just below her ears, it transitioned into a thin but resilient-seeming veil.
Don't panic, don't panic, it's just a dream, she told herself. She tried to pinch the back of one hand with the other, but was met with a pointed, hard surface instead. Tearing off her glove, she found another stone imbedded on the back of her hand. It was diamond-shaped and sapphire blue. Just. A. Dream, she thought, warding off her own terror. She instead pinched herself on the shoulder. It hurt; her nails were rather long.
She couldn't ignore her situation any longer. A tear fell, and but it froze the moment it hit her cheek.

After feeling around to try and figure out what that thing on their head is, they had come to the conclusion that it seemed to be some kind of metal helmet that was shaped like Corviknight's head. That's weird... They weren't wearing the helmet before... And... were those... wings on their back? Like.... actual wings, and not just fake ones that people wear for costumes and such..? Still, Roe tried to remain calm during whatever this was.

Cassandra watched her sister dash into the forest silently. Watching Clarisse move further and further away, she heaved a sigh. Silently, she headed back to the campsite. She had to depend on her siblings for company, and half of the time they didn't even want to talk to her. So she spent most of her camp days holed up in her tent, lamenting on how lonely she was. And how all the poor people weren't worth of her attention or time.

Luke woke up, not recognizing where he was. He seemed to be in a small room. It wasn't his hotel room though. What had happened? He rubs his head, only to see that his clothes had changed. Where did he even get this? He looks around. He thinks that he is probably just having a dream. He pinches himself, then says ow quietly to himself. Maybe this wasn't a dream. He also felt different, like there was a surge of electricity inside of him. It felt strange but cool at the same time. He then realized as he rubbed his head, he had felt something fuzzy on top of it. He felt again, and realized that those were his ears! How did he get like this, and where was he? He had a bunch of questions that he wanted answered.

If one listened hard enough, the soft jingling of keys could be heard in the distance. An Aether foundation scientist opened the entrance to the lab. Today was yet another "check-in" day, it was estimated that the patients should have already regained consciousness OR they had just come to their senses. As soon as the scientist stepped foot into the testing suite, an array of bright lights lit up the room. The researcher whistled a slow tune, his footsteps echoing throughout the halls.

Luke heard a jingling noise. It sounded like some keys. Someone probably came in. He kept listening and heard someone whistling. He wondered what they were doing there. He decided to lay on his back. He sighed, still wondering what had happened to him. He still can't seem to remember what had happened. He wanted to know so badly. His ear flicked as he listened, trying to see if the person was good or bad and if they would say anything about this place.

Tundra was snapped out of her temporary total panic by the sound of footsteps a little ways outside of the door, perhaps down the hall. Could they be coming towards her? Would they be willing to help? Yeah, no. The chances of someone helping her when she was in this type of situation where astronomically low. She'd be on her own. Perhaps when they came in, if they came in, she could try to escape. She most certainly wouldn't be able to best anyone in a scuffle; she was short and petite, and had never really been into sports. She glanced down at her hands again. Maybe, if she could try to control the ice...?

The young woman turned her attention to the wall in front of her and thrust out the hand that still had its glove on, baring her teeth in concentration. A jagged jet of whiteish-blue light shot forth, slamming into the wall and creating a large formation of ice that quickly spread outwards, shocking her, though she clearly had been the one responsible for it. How- her mind started, but she cut it off. No, she couldn't fret now. Once she'd gotten out of there, that was when she could bother with the schematics. And she did know that she had to "get out of there"; if the intentions of whoever had detained her were benevolent, she wouldn't be so afraid, locked in a cold, unfriendly cell. She didn't trust that she was here for any reason that would actually help her.

Tundra laid back down, though her body was reluctant to obey, hoping to catch whoever the footsteps might belong to off-guard. She didn't know what she'd do after that, but she'd cross that bridge when she came to it.

Sebastian could hear the steps outside in the hallway, he watched their shadows form on the walls which could be seen a little through the barred window of the door. He frowned ever so slightly, his legs still feeling kinda numb from sitting so long, he didnt even know how long it had been since he had last moved around freely. The room had grown warm.. well warm was an understatement. Hot would describe it quite well. Once more he touched the horns that had grown out of the sides of his head, watch the white...fur of his coat shimmer in the slight beams of light that actually managed to shine into the cell.

He didnt know how long it had been, Never being able to manage his sense of time he felt like he had been sitting for days before realising that this might even be the case here. Trying to push himself up he could only feel his legs shortly allow him to stand before collapsing into themselves once more, landing him on the ground. The fall begun with a sound that could be described as a mix of someting heavy, like a bag full of flour for example, falling mixed with and ended with the quiet shuffles of sitting back up and almost cursing. This must be caused by his... transformation
